A charming 4 suite, remodeled 1920's craftsman home filled with whimsical antiques and collectables, DeLaunay House is centrally located, just minutes to Ashland attractions. There are many amenities including stocked kitchenettes, bikes to enjoy while staying and luxury linens. This was my favorite vacation in years, enjoying the beauty of Ashland's Lithia Park every day and great dining, and of course, amazing entertainment. Make sure to stop at Ruby's Neighborhood Restaurant for a latte or breakfast burrito...it's just a hop, skip and jump away.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

My experience at Delaunay House was a delight. The accommodations are clean, well-maintained and very nicely furnished. The property is even prettier than depicted in the photos and is very conveniently situated right in downtown Ashland, close to all main activities and attractions. It is within easy walking distance of Ashland's best restaurants. The owner is friendly and helpful and I felt like I'd made a new friend by the time I left. I highly recommend Delaunay House to anyone wanting to really have an authentic Ashland experience!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We are so happy to have found this charming historic craftsman on vrbo and needless to say we had a great stay. The location makes it an easy walk to Shakespeare and to the neighbpthood food coop which is a must see. It was handy for us tp have healthy meals and cook in pur rooms as the kitchens have everything. Deborah made us feel right at home andwas helpful as to the town and local spots we would have missed....like the coop! We come every year and have made this our home while in Ashland. We love the decor, it has a good feeling. It's easy to relax and hang out around the house and enjoy the front porch. The inn keeper is a wealth of information on the local scene. Try this place. You will love it.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

I really enjoyed staying at the Delaunay House Inn. It was so close to the downtown attractions, theater, restaurants and town square, that even though it was cold outside and had a little snow it was an easy walk to all of them. The Inn had everything I needed without going out - full kitchen, tub and shower, music if I wanted it and even an onsite laundry. The Inn is quite beautiful, a real Ashland Historic Site with beautiful art pieces throughout. It was the most comfortable place I have stayed in quite a while. I have recommend it to many friends and will continue to do so. The Inn is three blocks or less from the Shakespeare Theaters, half a dozen restaurants, the town square, several banks, a great grocery store and two dozen Ashland shops, yet it is very private and quiet. The Ashland Mountain Skiing area is only a 20 minute drive away! I have also stayed there in the summer - there is rafting on the Rogue River a half hour to the north, a nice lake for swimming and water skiing 10 minutes to the south, Crater Lake is about an hour east and there is hiking all around without driving anywhere. The dozen or so wineries in the area are some of the best in the country. It is the only place I will stay in Ashland from now on!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We really enjoyed the charm this early century house has to offer and found the decor elegant but very comfy and easy. And the location is so central we didn't need the car. Our room had a full kitchen so we enjoyed making meals for our extended family staying in the other rooms. Overall, we had a great experience and would stay there again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: With Interior Design as my profession in Michigan I felt a sense of completion getting to renovate a historic Craftsman. Truly a dream come true!
Why the Owner Chose Ashland:
I fell in love with Ashland the minute I walked downtown and moved out here with my daughter in tow and hence raised a cowgirl! We still love Ashland and all the pacific northwest has to offer.
Some highlights as well as Shakespeare Theaters are the wineries, white water rafting, hiking , biking and day trips to Mt.Shasta and Crater Lake.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Besides the prime location for easy walking everywhere, the mountain views from the porch are a treat. The back patio has a bbq and for extended stay the laundry room comes in handy.
