The Studio Cottage decor is a relxing sea blue green beach theme. A beautiful wooden white headboard queen bed has luxury sheets, queen pillows and comforter. There is also a twin trundle bed , full bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. A beautiful wooded park setting in the surrounding area is relaxing for walks, bicycling and birdwatching. A quaint country store is one mile away with espressos, deli bar, gas and antique shop. The charming town of Gig Harbor has a variety of restaurants and stores to explore.

BEACH HOUSE IS RENTED UNTIL OCTOBER 2010.


Centrally located to explore is historic Gig Harbor,Tacoma,Seattle, Olympic National Park, Mount Rainier National Park, the San Juan Islands and Victoria, British Columbia.

Why the Owner Chose Gig Harbor

The beach house and it's location on a beach within a cove make this a very relaxing setting. In the summer the water warms up due to the plus and minus tides that warm the sand and thus warms the water. The house has a Frank Lloyd Wright look with brick floors thru out except the carpeted bedrooms. The forest in the back yard and along the roads to the house is a very Northwest setting. Many families and couples have found this a perfect retreat for them.

    • I was fortunate to rent the beach house after my house sold and was waiting for my new house to be available. This was in Nov/Dec. It was fantastic. The beach is a wonderful place even in the winter. The house covers all your needs, spacious, comfortable and the view...well you have to see it to believe it. The grounds are beautiful, it is children and animal friendly. I would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat.

    • We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at the Beach House. We used it as a base for our daughters wedding. The tranquility of the area helped releave the stress of the busy week. The house had everything we needed and more. It was great and the owners were very accommodating to all our needs.

    • Nice home in beautiful setting! We loved swimming in the surprisingly warm water. (The beach is long and shallow so the sun warms up this little bay nicely.)
