Rented this unit for my family visiting from Korea. The location is perfect. It is just a few minute walk to the Ferry Station which takes you into the city. Very convenient. Neighborhood is very quaint and quiet with amazing views of the city from the boardwalk. There is a grocery store in the building as well as a Starbucks and liquor store. This location is perfect for those that do not have a car. But if you do have a car, they do have free parking available in the garage. The room itself is very bare bones but it is clean and has everything you basically need. It is basically corporate style housing. 2 bedrooms with 2 beds in each. 2 full baths. Full kitchen with nice little island. Living room is equipped with an old, small tv. This unit is basically just to sleep in, it is not a luxury resort type unit. We did run into an issue with the Wi-Fi, which was actually quite an inconvenience for my family members trying to use their phones (from Korea). However, the owner was very understanding of this and we were able to come to an agreement to resolve this issue. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay. We couldn't have asked for a better location. It was about as close as you can get to the city without being in the city. The owner is extremely nice and responsive. Would definitely recommend this unit to friends/family or to anyone who is visiting New York area but doesn't want to be in the middle of the hustle and bustle of downtown.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
