Save $$$ on a 7 day stay. The cozy, rustic feel carries on into the other bedrooms. One of these has a queen-sized bed covered by a thick, warm quilt. The headboard is adorned with a buffalo silhouette, and the foot board with tall pine trees. This room has a comfy, cushioned bay window, two closets, and a bathroom with a granite vanity top. Another one of the cozy bedrooms at Park Place has a brass double bed, a cushioned bay window, and a closet. The last bedroom is located on the third floor and has a double bed. The adjoining bathroom has a sink, a shower, a tile floor, and a granite vanity top.
For all your cooking, dining, and snacking needs the kitchen and dining room are located on the second floor. The dining table can accommodate up to 12 guests and has a beautiful chandelier above it. The floors in the dining room and kitchen are tiled. The kitchen has beautiful granite countertops and is equipped with a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave oven, blender, toaster, coffeemaker, knife set, pots, pans, utensils, silverware, mixing and serving bowls, and cups. And on the deck just outside the kitchen there is a gas barbeque grill!
Just sit back and relax in the air conditioned spacious living room on the second floor and enjoy sinking into the comfortable furniture with a good book or surveying the surrounding area from the living room windows. You can view wildlife such as elk, deer, and moose right from the living room. Herds of elk and deer come to graze in the hay fields. There has even been an occasional grizzly bear that has wandered through on his way to higher ground.The pool is a great place to cool off on a hot day or just sit back and look at the stars at night while sitting back in the hot tub.

The description and photos accurately depicted the home. We were greeted warmly on our arrival and received adequate information/instructions about the property. The house was clean. Some minor maintenance issues: the sliding screen door from kitchen to the deck did not slide on its track and kept coming off the track, and the screens in some of the windows need repair. However, these are minor comments. Our entire family gathered at this house, welcoming various friends throughout our stay. It was the perfect home base for the joyous occasion of our son's wedding. There are so many activities to be enjoyed: tubing on the river, hiking on the trails, touring Yellowstone, relaxing in the hot tub, day trips to Big Sky, sitting on the deck watching the stars at night, talking to the horses that grazed at the fence, and so much more. Livingston is a nice little town: wonderful shops, art galleries, and several great book stores. Eating: The Rib&Chop House is wonderful, with food to suit anyone, including the vegetarian in our group. Other places to eat: The Sport, Adagio, the Second Street Bistro, and some great cafes. The weekly Farmer's Market is fun; the Town and Country Grocery Store kept us well supplied with food. They have a wonderful selection of organic produce and natural foods, along with fresh meats and local dairy products. The location is convenient to Bozeman, Livingston, and of course, Yellowstone. Our friends enjoyed it as much as we did. We would happily recommend it to others.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.
Owner response: In our off season we will be repairing the screens as well as the patio door off the kitchen. The wind blows very hard here and can cause damage to our screens. We try to maintain our home in the best condition possible. Debbie

This was a dream vacation and the house was terrific. They had the best of everything. The house was even better than the description. The pool was really as nice as the photos. There were many provisions I wasn't expecting. The hot tub was wonderful. The owner was a delight to work with and was very helpful with all the questions we had. I would recommend this place 100 percent!!!!! In the afternoons I would hike and see many deer. BIG ones. I did take my bear spray with me even though my family laughed at me. But the only bear we saw was Brutus down the road a few miles. We absolutely loved the rodeo in Livingston. We went there twice. We also visited Chico Hot Springs, Paradise Valley Community Church, and Yellowstone. We really enjoyed meeting some local people at church. Overall this was a fantastic experience. Visitors from Western NCRecommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Wow! We all said that as we opened the door to our home away from home for the coming week! The pictures don't do this house justice. It is a beautiful home and is quite spacious for our large gathering of our family (as many as 20). It is definately recommended to take your vacation in this home - close to Yellowstone and close to town. Only disappointment we had was the pool was out of order - for us that was a big hit to our plans as we had promised all the kids that the pool could be used everyday - all day! So....that was sad - perhaps next time we'll have a better chance to having the pool ready to dive into! Montana is a beautiful state and one that feels like home to us!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Year Purchased: 2001
About the owner: I met my husband while he was working in Livingston MT. He is from Seattle WA. It was a whirlwind romance. We dated for 3 months and then I moved to Seattle to be with him. We were married February 29, 1992. I was born and raised in Livingston MT. We purchased the house in 2000, remodeled it, and decide to turn it into a vacation rental. People have been enjoying it ever since.
Why the Owner Chose Livingston:
We purchased this unique home because of the beautiful area it was located in. I was born and raised in Livingston. I was married in 1992 and moved to Seattle. We love Montana especially the town of Livingston. The town offers a lot of amenities as in; the Yellowstone River which runs through Livingston, a 50 mile drive through the beautiful paradise valley to Gardiner the NE entrance to Yellowstone National Park.
The Unique Benefits at this Chateau / Country House:
Indoor swimming pool at the Home. Just 5 miles away is fly fishing Horse back riding. The 4th of July parade and rodeo is fantastic every year. The residents of Livingston are very friendly and courteous. The home is large enough to accommodate family and guest and activities for children.
