Terrific condo with a cottage feel.... Are you looking for a quiet, family friendly area within walking distance to shopping and dining? Then look no further! Southwinds is a small complex across from the Gulf Shores West Public Beach. We have an unobstructed Gulf view - nothing across the street but the beach. This townhouse style unit is so cute with a great beach feel! Bright, airy and spacious!! Enjoy a two story, 2BR townhouse where Mom and Dad can be on one floor while the kids are on another. You can not get a better location to enjoy the new Musicfest at The Hangout in May, view the Gulf Shores July 4th fireworks or for the Gulf Shores Shrimp Festival in October.

This unit has free high speed internet access - just bring your laptop and plug-in. The first floor has a full kitchen with full-size washer and dryer in the laundry room. Ceramic tile in the foyer and kitchen. Living room with a queen sleeper sofa. The landing on the second floor has a skylight and reading area. The two bedrooms are upstairs - the master bedroom contains a queen bed and the 2nd bedroom contains a full bed. No fee to park during your stay and you can park two vehicles directly under the unit with no additional fee.

Where are we located? On West Beach Blvd, about 1 block from the 'T'. What is there to do? From this unit you can walk to The Hangout, Desotos, Bahama Bobs, Pink Pony, the Shrimp Basket, and shops around the 'T'. Rent a bike and ride the area or sit on one of the two decks for a great view of the beach. Go to the new Gulf Shores Fishing Pier... There is an on-site pool in case you don't feel like an ocean swim.

  • What a great condo-Libby goes out of her way to acccomodate all your needs. The condo was conveniently located to all Gulf Shores has to offer-including the BEACH....we will stay again!!!!We really enjoyed our stay at the condo.

  • We loved staying here! Libby you have a wonderful place. With it across the street I wondered how difficult it would be with 2 children and about the view. It took us less time to get to the beach than when we stayed in a high rise and we could see the ocean. Being able to park right under the unit really helped. We will be back.
