Terrific condo with updates! Are you looking for a quiet, family friendly area where you can be in the middle of it all - by the beach plus walk to shopping and dining? Then look no further! Southwinds is located directly across from the Gulf Shores West Public Beach. You can not get a better location to enjoy the new Musicfest at The Hangout in May, view the Gulf Shores July 4th fireworks, the Gulf Shores Beach concert series or the Gulf Shores Shrimp Festival in October. And if you are a winter renter, Southwinds is one of the most sought after locations in Gulf Shores!
Southwinds has an unobstructed Gulf view - nothing across the street but the white sandy beach. This unit was recently decorated like a summer cottage - so cute with a great beach feel! Bright, airy and spacious!! Enjoy the two story, 2BR townhouse where Mom and Dad can be on one floor and the kids on another.
This unit is definitely family friendly with all the amenities you want for your family's stay. The first floor has a full, complete kitchen with plenty of seating at the counter. We also have a full-size washer and dryer in the laundry room. Perfect for when you need something cleaned in a hurry. We have ceramic tile in the foyer and kitchen. Our living room is ready with a bright and comfy queen sleeper sofa, more than ample seating, flat screen tv with cable and dvd. The landing on the second floor has a skylight and wicker chairs in the reading area. Two bedrooms are upstairs - the master bedroom is luxuriously decorated with a queen bed, wicker rocker. The spacious 2nd bedroom contains a comfortable full bed along with table/chairs for writing notes, doing puzzles or coloring in a coloring book! The master bedroom has a flat screen tv with cable / dvd and the 2nd bedroom has a tv with dvd. A perfect setup for movies and gaming!
We provide free high speed internet access - just bring your laptop and plug-in. We also have free covered parking for two vehicles. Where other condos charge $10+ to park on an uncovered lot, there is no fee to park during your stay at Southwinds. You can park two vehicles out of the sun, with easy access, directly under the rental unit.
Where are we located? On West Beach Blvd, about 1 block from the 'T'. What is there to do? You mean beside the beach? There is an on-site pool in case you don't feel like an ocean swim. From this unit you can walk to many restaurants - The Hangout, Desotos, Bahama Bobs, Pink Pony, the Shrimp Basket. You can enjoy the shops around the 'T' and buy fudge, ice cream, a new bathing suit, or shorts. Want different exercise? Rent a bike and ride the area or sit on one of the two decks for a great view of the beach. You can travel about a mile from Southwinds to the new Gulf Shores Fishing Pier... Waterville... The Track (amusement center)... Gulf Shores Zoo....

Have always loved Gulf Shores and its easy accessibity! This unit is perfect for me and my family. We have the open view to the beach. We are able to walk to so many things and can easily access the roads when we choose to take a trip.

This is a great vacation spot. We have stayed here twice and will continue as long as Libby will let us. The condo is so convenient to everything and is still quiet too. Thanks again and we will be in touch soon to schedule for 2010 summer trip.

What a great condo-Libby goes out of her way to acccomodate all your needs. The condo was conveniently located to all Gulf Shores has to offer-including the BEACH....we will stay again!!!!We really enjoyed our stay at the condo.

We loved staying here! Libby you have a wonderful place. With it across the street I wondered how difficult it would be with 2 children and about the view. It took us less time to get to the beach than when we stayed in a high rise and we could see the ocean. Being able to park right under the unit really helped. We will be back.
