Visit this beautifully furnished getaway just minutes from Lake Burton and Clarkesville, near the winding Soque (so-kwee) River. With two full baths, an open loft and a large eat-in kitchen it is ideal for a small family, two couples traveling together or a getaway just for two.

Features a fireplace, hardwood floors and a soaring tongue and groove ceiling! With nearly 1200 square feet it boasts first and second floor bedrooms, a comfortable living room, closets and several deck areas.

Located along scenic Highway 197, the Soque (so-kwee) Cabin is a convenient place to stay. Near Clarkesville, Helen and Clayton, all known for antique shopping, historic town squares and parks. Minutes from the Appalachian Trail, area lakes and the Sautee Valley, there's something for everyone. Be sure to visit the Sautee Nacoochee Center, featuring the renound "Evening Star Music Series" and the Folk Pottery Museum of Northeast Georgia.

Enjoy world-class trout fishing on the Soque (so-kwee) River down the road! Fishing enthusiasts will revel in the nearby lakes and rivers.

Come visit the Soque Cabin on scenic Highway 197 North, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Approximately 2 hours from Atlanta; Lake Burton offers 68 miles of shoreline, terrific for boating and water skiing.

Check-in begins after 2:00 pm and guests are asked to be ready by 11:30 am on the day of departure. Please, as a courtesy, no smoking except outside. We also request a 2 night minimum but hope you will stay much longer! Cash, Certified Check, VISA & MC are accepted. Pre-payment is required to confirm your reservation plus a refundable security deposit of $150.
