We loved our stay at this condo. It was exactly like in the pictures, very clean and equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed the big lanai and the pool and the fact that it's very close to all the shops and restaurants. We would stay there again !
Owner response:We appreciate your thoughtfulness. Please come back to stay with us again!

The condo # 88522 was wonderful. The view off the lanai was really good. We could see the pool and the ocean. On numerous occasions we saw a whale breech, but we always saw the parasailers right in front of us and the boats as they went past ! The property was clean and neat. All needs were provided for both for condo use and for going to the beach. The owners were extremely responsive to any needs we had. In particular, when we asked for the internet service to be provided in the condo itself, it was immediately ordered and in place within a day or two. They provided a book with ideas of places to go and things to see. We should have added our "finds" as well, but we were too busy house hunting ! We love Lava Java for coffee and muffins or breakfast, Jake's BBQ south of Captain Cook on the left side of the road and going to the Hilton Wailaloa to walk on the grounds and watch the dolfins. Pesto's in Hilo or Waiaehae has very good food. Oh, and we like to start the time we have in Hawaii at the Blue Dragon in Waiaehae where there is no roof, just a sky full of stars while local, live music is played during the meal. Would we recommend this condo to friends and family............ YES !

My wife and I are annual visitors to the Big Island. This was our first stay at Alii Villas, but will certainly not be our last. The condo is located just south of town and is close to all the activities you would ever want to be a part of. By comparison to the other condos we have stayed in on the island, this was the best-maintained, cleanest and least-expensive lodging we have ever had...and it had a view of the ocean. The grills and pool were VERY well maintained. Thanks again; I feel like we have found a gem!

My stay at Chris and KC's condo was truly wonderful! The location is convenient to everything, restaurants, downtown Kona, and all other parts of the island. The condo is clean, nicely furnished, comfortable, spacious and well accomodated. All I had to do was buy groceries, everything else I needed was there and it truly felt like home away from home! It exceeded my expectations and is a top-notch value. The condo grounds are beautifully lanscaped and well-maintained too. I would highly recommend this property to anyone planning a vacation on the Big Island. I can't wait until the next time I can visit Hawaii and hopefully stay here again. Thanks for such a wonderful stay!

This review is long overdue. When we were planning our first vacation to Hawaii, we turned to Trip Advisor for the accommodation suggestion. We provided our budget, and TA fellows told us that our budget unrealistic. If we won’t spend at least $300 for a night, we would stay in shady areas. What was a pleasant surprise when we found Chris and KC’s condo. It’s truly a gem and budget travelers’ haven! The place exceeded our expectation! Superb location, beautiful complex grounds, free parking, clean, cozy, and beautiful rooms. We would highly recommend this condo to anyone and hopefully stay here again. Thank you for sharing your condo with us!

I stayed at Chris and KC's condo this February and was very pleased. I had previously stayed at Alii Villa's and really liked the location, appearance, and size of this complex. The condo I rented last year was in a different building on the ground floor, which I found to be quite dark and not very pleasant. This condo was the complete opposite. Being on the third floor without vegitation covering the windows it was bright and cheery, and there was always a nice breeze. It was also very clean and tastefully decorated. I am very particular about clean floor and this was definately the case here. The berber carpets looked great and were free of stains, while the tile at the entry, kitchen and bath looked to be almost new. I found out the sofa in the living room was just reupholstered as well. I would not hesitate to recommend this condo, and will most definately stay here again. Mahalo Chris!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 week vacation at the well equipped condo, as it had everything we needed. All appliances including 2 coffee makers were supplied and all functioned well. Chris also has snorkelling equipment, beach chairs, coolers, an underwater camera and a boogie board for use by renters. The condo was much larger than we had thought, the lanai was great, as we were able to see the swimming pool as well as the ocean from there. The location was great, within a short walk to the town, which we did quite often. We actually walked to the supermarkets a few times, a longer walk but very do-able. The management was very friendly and helpful. We had a rental car for the entire time as we wanted to tour the island, which we did several times, seeing Mauna Kea as well as the Volcano National Park. We saw flowing lava when we visted it one time...amazing! The island is so versatile, from the seashore (seeing turtles up close) to the rain forests (and lots of birds) to ranch land and finally to the lava fields. There is so much to see on the island and we are glad we chose this place for our holiday. One of our favourite restaurants was Splashers, just in front of the pier, where we often had breakfast ànd other meals. For a fast, inexpensive meal L & L Bbq was good. The ABC stores had a lot of items, including food, liquor, t shirts, souvenirs, etc and was close to the condo. We drove to a lot of beaches and really enjoyed the snorkel`beach, just a few miles south of the condo where the water was crystal clear and were able to swim with the turtles. It was just south of Magic Sands Beach. The description, photos were well presented on the web site and I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone who wants a very comfortable place to stay on the Big Island.
Owner response:FYI - These folks actually stayed in our condo 11/30/10 - 1/13/11.

We stayed in Chris and KC's condo November 2009. It was clean and very nice. We love that part of Alii drive! It was nice not having to drag our own beach towels, cooler and chairs with us too. Thank you so much for letting us stay.

We spent the winter of 2009 at Chris and KC's condo in Hawaii. It was comfy and cozy. We grilled out most evenings and enjoyed our meals on the lanai. No mosquitos here! Every evening at sunset residents gathered at the waterfront to watch the sunset...with our cocktails. It was a fun and relaxing vacation. I highly recommend it. Jean

We have enjoyed staying at Alii Villas as it is centrally located for travel to activities on the island. The lanai has an oceanview and also overlooks a nice pool that is relaxing and never crowded. This is one of our favorite rentals on the Big Island. Hope to return soon!

We enjoyed our stay at this condo very much. Chris and KC were so easy to coordinate with and keep a very nice place. The location was close enough to town to go to things but out of the way of all the traffic and fellow tourists. We will definately contact these guys again on our next trip to the Big Island. Mahalo!

Because we were watching our budget, I was a bit worried that this condo was "too" affordable, so maybe it would be a trick! WRONG! What a beautiful place, nice size, great location, the complex is on the water with a great view! It was clean and well supplied, the grounds were cared for, as well as the pool being very clean. The owners were quick to reply to my questions and quick to return our deposit when they saw that we didn't damage the unit. I saved the information so that I can contact Chris and K.C. the next time we visit the Big Island.
