COMMENTS and EXCERPTS FROM THE GUESTBOOK :
.....Sept. 4th, 2006 " Our family absolutely fell in love! We loved the view and the house and the Great Blue Heron that comes for breakfast every morning. The tide comes and goes with such variation in water level that leaves thousands of starfish for us to see. Beachcombing here is terrific! The location is everything we would have dreamed, only more. You are so lucky to have it. Thank you kindly for sharing. We would love to come back again, its a great family place." The R family P.S. Thanks for the binoculars
.....Sept. 10, 2006 "Our first gasping wonderment at this gracious home with its glorious location , slow cozy wake-ups with coffee and the changing sea, a luxurious deck supper, the shore birds, boat traffic, the corgis!!!, beachcombing and relaxing in this welcoming and exquisitely appointed home on the ocean. While we came to enjoy Sechelt and the Sunshine Coast we couldn't wait for our house time. Thank you for making us welcome here. We promise to return soon." K,C, L and S & M who will be here next time
.....An email from our housekeeper Just a quick note to say that the five young mothers arrived and I received the Visa imprint. At the risk of repeating myself every time people see your home for the first time, they were awestruck. See you Sunday, Ursula
.....A phone message from Patrick Aug./ 06 " Bob, just to let you know we have arrived. It is absolutely fabulous. Words can't describe it. We are going to have a great week. Talk to you later. "
.....Phone call from Pierre Jan.9th '07 The storm watching is fantastic! It's like being on the prow of a ship with the waves crashing on either side yet being safe and sound well above"
......email from Hugh Mar. '07 We certainly enjoyed staying at your fabulous location. The place is so beautiful and well thought out. Can't say I can think of anything you could add...
......email from L.M. May '07 "Sargeant Bay Wonderland" I just wanted you to know we had a fabulous time at that little slice of heaven at Sargeant Bay......
.......email from J.K. Aug '07 We were all able to swim, jump off the rocks, float, explore along the beach. We rented kayaks at Halfmoon Sea Kayaks, took a short lesson and guided 3 hour kayak trip the first day, then brought them back to the house. We loved kayaking around Sargaen'ts Bay and up both sides of the coast. My husband even made it around one of the Trail Islands and back. We also did alot of hiking, Triangle Lake and Trout Lake. My husband brought his road bike and enjoyed a couple of bike rides. It was definitely an active holiday enjoyed by all. We always ended our days with oceanside happy hour and dinner following. It was a fantastic week. My mum was able to come again for a few days and my husband's brother joined us for a couple of nights after his scuba/kayak week along the Sunshine Coast. Anytime anyone new comes to visit they are of course awestruck by the view and never want to leave either! Again, you are so lucky to own this beautiful house and the location is priceless.
email from P.M. June 2008 Bob & Heather, Just spent three glorious days in Utopia, a. k. a. “The Sanctuary at Sargeants Bay”. Our team of eight ladies ignored the inclement weather and enjoyed the peace and serenity of this home. We ate, we drank, we sang, we danced and even played at golf. It doesn’t get much better than this. Thank you for a great stay. For more details call IS LIFE A MOUNTAIN OR A BEACH at the #s below. |
