Beautiful, fully furnished updated house on quiet side street, one block from a gorgeous beach and jetties. Hardwood throughout, large kitchen, and great room area with cathedral ceiling and sky lights. Nice yard and deck with retractable sun shade for relaxing after a day at the beach. Located on a quiet side street, you enjoy peace and privacy. Two bedrooms: one with queen bed and one with bunkbeds. Full futon in great room.
Enjoy amazing fishing down the street off the beach or charter a boat from the marina down the road. A beautiful beach awaits you at the end of the road. Great restaurants on the island or in Newburyport Center. Terrific shopping and plenty to do right in Newburyport: swimming, hiking, horseback riding, golf, birdwatching, bicycling, theater, movies, and more. Boston is a 40 minute drive or train ride away and Portsmouth, New Hampshire is a half hour drive away.
This is truly an amazing property and a terrific vacation spot.

Perfect quiet getaway for a family!

We have stayed at this cottage two summers in a row and loved it both times. The large open kitchen/living area is perfect for hanging out with the family, watching TV, playing games and cooking big meals. The location is a short walk to a beautiful, uncrowded section of the beach and is close to Plum Island Grille - our favorite place to eat when we are there. The house is very clean and well-maintained and the owners are extremely nice and accommodating. This is the best deal on the island!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
