Welcome to Ocean Lakes Family Resort! If you haven't seen Ocean Lakes lately, it's time to come back! Our 7 bedroom, 3.25 bath home "OCEANVIEW", is located just steps from the ocean in the award winning Ocean Lakes Family Resort.
South Carolina is known for it's beautiful coastline. Our close proximity to the Atlantic makes 1034 the perfect place for enjoying the beach in the morning, returning for lunch or to grab a cool drink and then heading back for a fun-filled afternoon. Come stay with us to sample all that Myrtle Beach has to offer! Whether your ideal vacation consists of long, lazy days on white, sandy beaches, breaking par on an award winning golf course or shopping until you drop, we have what you are looking for!
ABOUT 1034 "OCEANVIEW"
On the ground level, we offer gracious under-house, covered parking for up to 6 full-size vehicles plus golf cart spaces. Also we offer an enclosed outdoor hot/cold shower, a swing to enjoy the breeze and the perfect spot to drop your beach toys and chairs before heading upstairs.
On the 1st level you will find a large, outdoor, gas grill, outdoor dining and lounge furniture, and a great view of the gorgeous Atlantic Ocean (photo 4). We think this is the perfect spot for morning coffee and an unforgettable sunrise. This HUGE deck wraps all the way around to the back of the property and leads to additional outdoor dining and relaxation areas. The rear deck offers late afternoon sun and shade - perfect for afternoon cocktails, games with the kids or a relaxing afternoon nap!
Guests entering the common area will enjoy the beach-friendly and comfortable decor. It's ideal for small or large gatherings, group meals or just playing cards with the guys. This multi-function area provides viewing access to a large screen HDTV with a DVD/VCR combo, dining for 12 at our full-sized table and eat-in kitchen bar. The open floor plan provides access to our fully-equipped kitchen with all the luxuries of home.
Also located on the 1st level is 1 of 3 full-sized bathrooms, the laundry room with washer/dryer unit, and two spacious and comfortably decorated bedrooms. The master bedroom features a king-sized bed. Both 1st level bedrooms have in-room access to the rear deck. Each of the fully-furnished bedrooms provides maximum privacy offering a variety of sleeping arrangements - perfect for trips with multiple families.
On the 2nd level our central hallway provides access to 4 queen-sized bedrooms and 2 spacious bathrooms. All 4 of these bedrooms have in-room deck access. The 5th bedroom on this level is a twin-over-full bunk bed and is a "secure" room for the smaller kids, with no exterior deck access. All bedrooms feature fully adjustable ceiling fans and cable TV in three upstairs bedrooms. One bedroom is dedicated to the "reader" and has a selection of books for quiet enjoyment.
"Oceanview" will comfortably sleep 15 or 16 and offers newly updated bedding and furnishings designed to help you relax and enjoy your stay. Take a look at our posted photographs and call us for additional shots.

Ocean Lakes is a large, gated community with something for everyone from the young to the young at heart. The facility is extremely family friendly with 24-hour gated access, 24-hour security, 8 stocked, private, fresh-water lakes (you don't even need a fishing license)and a Recreation Center with a full-time staff. This was our first time staying at Ocean Lakes and this house was perfect. We had 7 adults and 6 kids and there was plenty of room and privacy for each family. The house is in a great location, very close to the beach. Plenty of parking. The decks were huge with great views. The owners were very helpful and easy to work with. We look forward to returning next year. Thank you for everything!

We loved our stay here!!! We had 4 families with us, 8-adults, 9-kids (7-13, all girls) and 1-18 month old. The kids had a blast at the condo and at the beach. I just have to say our stay at the house was amazing and we could not have ask for better!!! Thank you!!!!

We would like to thank you for the great vacation we have had. Everything was as nice as we thought it would be. A couple of rainy days but they still were as nice as the sunny days. We loved the decks and the house was just great. Can't wait until next summer to get the house again. It was perfect! Note from a July 08 guest.

Note from a guest. Four couples and one single stayed in your lovely home for a staff retreat after our girls left, to finish the week out! We enjoyed laughter, tears, fellowship, and renewal in the Lord Jesus Christ. We shared visions of what God can do when people get excited about His work.
