Eastham Retreat - Great for two families to share AND just completely renovated.

Our house in Eastham is perfect for two families to share. One side has three bedrooms above the main living areas - the master has one queen bed, bedroom 2 has a queen bed, bedroom 3 has two twin beds. The other side of the house has a separate lofted space with a queen and trundle bed. A pack and play is provided for those with small children. There is a children's playroom/large TV room under the loft area separate from the main living areas. The couch in this room is a queen sleeper, very comfortable. The entire downstairs has recently been renovated and there is an open-plan kitchen, dining and living room opening out to two separate outside areas. Wireless internet and 40 inch flat panel TV. If you use iTunes you can play your music directly through the stereo. Two full bathrooms and a great outdoor shower.

There is plenty of room to relax and unwind either inside on one of the two loveseats or three large couches, or outside under the umbrella on the very peaceful back deck with futon and four butterfly canvas chairs. French doors open from the living room onto the deck. There is a large brick patio with a teak table and room for all to relax and enjoy the quiet setting over dinner. Plenty of lawn year for kids to play on. The backyard is great for a lobster bake or barbecue after the beach (Grill and Pots provided, of course, you provide the lobsters and margaritas...). Horseshoe pit is right off the deck.

The house is conveniently located close to the Cape Cod National Seashore at Coast Guard Beach, just a short drive from the visitors center. Address is 200 Candlewood Drive, Eastham, MA. The street is very quiet with no other outlet. A morning run on the jogging path to the beach and back (5.5 miles) is not to miss. The bay beaches are also very close and great for small children. Restaurants, shopping, the cape cod bike trail and many family fun places are all very nearby.

Washer/Dryer are provided, bed linens may be provided for an additional fee. Rental does not include separate cleaning fee of $150. Unfortunately, pets not allowed. Absolutely no smoking. Please feel free to call with any questions and we invite you to enjoy our home.

  • We had a fabulous time staying here. We had friends and family come and stay with us and the house had more then enough space to accommodate all of our needs. Very clean and updated furnishings. And close to the National Seashore. We highly recommend vacationing here.

  • We stayed here in November 2006 and thoroughly enjoyed it - even in the off-season. The house is both cozy and spacious - families will definitely have room to roam, but couples will feel right at home, as well. The furnishings are stylish, and the kitchen is well outfitted--we had everything we need to prepare meals at home. Eastham is definitely quiet, and the house is in a really natural setting with enough distance from neighbors to feel privacy. But you're also in a perfect position to explore the entire Cape, with quick, easy access to the Outer and Mid-Cape. Even in the off-season, we found great dining options in Orleans, Wellfleet, P-Town, Brewster, and Yarmouth, and we made it to a different beach every afternoon--starting with the beach at Nauset Light, which is just down the road. A great value, and we're looking forward to a return visit.
