Take an early morning, invigorating swim, in the ocean, enjoy a romantic beach fire at night, have a hot tub swim on the large deck, whilst watching eagles fly overhead or watch for a pod of porpoises swim by.
Whether you are sitting at the dining room table, curled up on the couch or even laying in bed, you will enjoy the spectacular views of the beach. There is plenty of outdoor seating, for your family and friends, to share a barbeque, while taking in the breathtaking sunset.
Located right on the beach, with a bird sanctuary next to it, you can check out the many species of birds such as bald eagles, trumpeter swans, search for seashells or go fishing, or crabbing. The kitchen is stocked with everything, except food and a chef of course, laundry facilities on site. Hike, swim, kayak and explore or just kick back and watch the waves roll in.

We had a lovely mini-getaway in this very comfortable cottage. The deck and living room have breathtaking views of the water and the beach is just steps away. The house is situated just off Davis Bay on a quiet street away from the bustle, but close enough to walk to several restaurants and stores.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This property met and exceeded every hope I had and every description made by the owners on this website site. The pictures, as wonderful as they are, did not come close to doing it justice. Far, far better in real life. Very spacious, very private and only a short walk to the Davis Bay Wharf so the location was quite ideal too - minutes from grocery store and other amenities. This is an annual trip to the Sunshine Coast I take my children on each summer and I can see myself booking here regularly in the future. Fantastic place!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Our college girls reunion is always a great time, this time we choose the perfect place for the girls. It was everything we wanted and more, walks on the beach, gazing at the stars at night and hikes in the day. We loved Smugglers Cove. Our girls book club plans for our weekend getaway at Oceanfront Haven every year. The group sometimes changes but the beach and the hot tub remain the same...GREAT!
