The Harmony Crest Cottage (a one bedroom unit), is part of a Villa sitting on the crest of a mountain facing East with the classic, down-island array of St. John and the British Virgin Islands stretching out past the horizon. Secluded on over two acres of hilltop, the gated Villa has a 270-degree view. You will enjoy the trade winds from your private deck.
Fully furnished the one bedroom cottage mixes the old with the new. Stone steps and tile counter tops mix with the amenities of cable TV and DSL. There is a free lending library, beach chairs and towels, for your relaxing Caribbean holiday. The Villa has, at tree-top level, an expansive deck, a shade pavilion next to a large, rain water-fed swimming pool at your disposal. Perfect for dips, napping or reading, from this perch watch Red Tail Hawks floating in the sky above and, in season, look for humpback whales basking on the water's surface. Enjoy the days sipping margaritas and in the evenings watch the ocean change colors at sunset.

- Amenities
- Air Conditioning: Limited the to bedroom, closet and bath. The trade winds on this property make A/C unnessary 355 days out of the year in any room.
- Linens Provided: Fresh bed linens are provided at the beginning of each stay. Each guest is provided with two towels, 1 beach towel, 2 wash clothes, 2 hand towels.
- Off Street Parking: For the islands the Villa has a large drive and parking area. You have your own assigned space and it is easy to turn around and drive out. (not common in the islands.)
- Beds
- King Bed: The new four poster bed is extremely comfortable. One of the comments usually made the first morning is how well the guest slept and what a wonderful bed. I think it is the fresh air, quiet tropical sounds and the privacy all with a spectacular view.
- Convertible Bed: A queen size pull out sofa. What can I say. Bought a new mattress for it but frankly it is great for the kids.
- Entertainment
- Cable/Satellite TV: over 100 plus channels and nearly half of those are the movie channels. Why do you want to watch TV while you are here I will never know. PS If you need adult limits on the set just let me know. Brian

- Video Library: Lots of VCR and many DVD's. There are located in the multi-media room of the Villa and all you need to do is ask.
- Video Game Console: NOT IN THE COTTAGE BUT: We have a 14 year son who has a few machines including the new WE II up in the Villa Multi-media room Ask and we will try to accommodate those who need a computer fix.

- Private Pool: The pool is rain water fed and with the latest technology for keeping it clear, almost 0 clorine. Most of us are blond and we never worry about green hair. Guests can use the pool 24/7, I just ask that if you are having too loud of fun at night we might join you. During the day you have almost exclusive use. We are working, going to school or we get to use anytime, so we let the guests have during their stay.
- Kitchen
- Full Kitchen: Full size refrigerator, 2 burner built-in glass top burners, microwave, toaster, BQ Grill (portable as well)Forman grill, juicer, blender, oven (counter top type but large enough for small turkeys and pizzas. There is more if you need something special and I do not have it ask, I might be willing to add it the Cottage for you and future guests.
- Cooking Utensils Provided: Lots of utensils and if the Cottage is missing anything you need I will loan it from the Villa or buy a permanent addition.
- Refrigerator: approximately 20 cubic feet so plenty of room for you stay. Usually has some coffee and misc. starters for you. We just ask if you use it up please replace it for the next guest.
- Microwave: YES pretty typical 1.1 cubic ft if memory serves me, so not one of those little tiny ones you might find in an apartment.
- Catering Available: There are lots of catering companies on island and several have worked on our property in the past. If you have a need just lets us know. "in advance if possible"
- Outdoor Features
- Gas/Electric BBQ Grill: Gas BBG on the Cottage deck which is portable to take to the beach. Also another grill at the pool deck.
- Deck/Patio: One is at the pool level.
- Balcony: Large and very private. What else can I say, beside the view.

- Ocean View: Once featured in Homes Across America has "a spectacular view" While shooting a commercial the crew was greeted with a pod of Humpback Whales.
- Mountain View: Sitting on Top of the hill you are closer to the beach then you are high. Meaning at elevation 620 feet above the sea, if you could throw a stone 550 feet straight out it would land in the ocean. You can hear the surf late at night.

- Broadband Internet: DSL both hard wired and Wireless is available at the Cottage and at the pool.

Year Purchased: 1999
We stay in the Villa and as a guest your privacy is very important to us. Our daughter is away at College most of the time and our son is either in school or runs away to camp whenever he has the chance. My wife is the producer and founding member of the local Pistarckle theater. I am an Architect and Energy Specialist as well as armature inventor. We are always available to point out the many pleasures and excellent restaurants here on St. Thomas and the surround islands. Feel free to write or call with any questions you might have.
Why the Owner Chose Estate Tabor & Harmony
We choose to live in the Virgin Islands over 20 years ago and bought the current property in 1990. In 1995 the house was severely damaged by Hurricane Marylin. Since then the property has been expanded. The Cottage was built as a guest quarters and a few years back we made the decision to place it in the rental market. It has been some work but the variety of people we have had as guest since is remarkable.

The first thing everyone notices is the spectacular view. Located on the hill top the Villa looks down island over St. John, the British Virgin Islands any many of the unihabited Cays. (keys) The most important feature of Harmony Crest Cottage is the Privacy it affords. You can spend the entire trip on your private deck and never see anyone else. Waking up to the trade winds and the view is worth the trip. Easy access to all of the island is icing on the cake making it easy to get to any of the beaches, inter island ferries and shopping.
