Located at 40 miles West of Paris, this property is at the end of a very charming village surrounded by forests. There is a rustic three hole golf course, a beautiful park, a swimming pool (5x9), a lake, a trampoline, a fly fishing river. The house has five bedrooms, four bathrooms, two beds are 180 cm, two beds are 160 cm, and the other room has twin beds. We have a manager - Full time - who understands English - and is there to help you with issues or questions that may come up during your stay.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful house in an idyllic location. Lazy days spent fishing and canoeing on the lake, playing golf on the 3 hole golf course, relaxing by the pool and watching movies in the basement cinema. Not to mention walks around the grounds and fun for the kids on the trampoline, swings and in the tree house. The description was spot on, the owner was really helpful before we arrived and the house is managed by an English speaking manager who is available if there are any queries during your stay. We have already recommended Brechamps to our friends and family - it would be perfect for families with children who are old enough to know not to run into the lake and who are able to benefit from all the active pursuits available in the grounds, whilst the adults enjoy the view! We did have plans to visit local villages and Paris, but in the end we only left the property once during the whole week to stock up on supplies at the local supermarket! The house itself is well maintained shabby chic. Just don't put too many appliances on at once, otherwise you are plunged into darkness! The only fault with the property is that the swimming pool isn't heated, but we still swam every day at the end of August.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

Large country home near the village of Brechamps Gorgeous pond and gardens Beautiful, large home that can accommodate many guests in style Highly recommended Only negative - do not more than two appliances at once or the power will go out (e.g., oven and hair dryer)Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.
