"Pinon House" is a five bedroom rental house situated on a one-half acre desert lot crowning a hilltop just north of Santa Fe's 400-year-old historic district. It's great for your family reunion or small business retreat. Santa Fe's famous Plaza and Canyon Road are just a short walk away.
The rambling floor plan offers the 2250 square-foot, four-bedroom, main rental house plus an attached 750 square-foot, one-bedroom "nanny quarters" with its own kitchen, bathroom, living room, patio, private entrance and washer/dryer. There is one queen sofa sleeper in the main living room and one queen sofa sleeper in the meditation/exercise room.
"Pinon House" was recently redecorated in the Southwest style with many interesting visual arts. You will find an entertaining mix of original Southwest artifacts, eclectic local art, and both antique and modern furnishings.
There are several patios and wooden decks surrounding the house with outstanding 360-degree views throughout the day. Experience a Santa Fe sunrise peaking over the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in the east, a fire-red sunset over the Jemez Mountains in the west and the sparkling city lights of Santa Fe at night.
Out of the south-facing, plate-glass windows you can see the peaks of the Sandia Mountains outside of Albuquerque some 50 miles away! Dining on the south covered patio is outstanding.
World-class skiing is available from Thanksgiving through the first week of April at Santa Fe's Ski Basin high in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains just 16 miles northeast of Santa Fe. Seven lifts, 43 trails, 1650-foot vertical, complete rentals and lessons, children's center, and, an average of 225 inches of powder per year! You can see the ski runs from Pinon House.
Or, try a round of golf at Towa Golf Course just 15 minutes to the north offering incomparable views of the Sangre de Cristo, Jemez, Sandia and Ortez mountain ranges. This championship course offers a full pro shop, full food services, and spectacular year-round golf.
