Jim & Vanessa Reid live in Bishop, GA (northeast of Atlanta, near Athens). Vanessa owns Vanessa's Accessories, Inc., (www.vanessasjewelry.com), selling fine Sterling Silver jewelry & handbags at conferences & events all over the Southeast. On May 1, 2009 Vanessa will open Divine Salon, Spa & Gifts in Watkinsville, GA. Hopefully this will allow her to stay off the road some & allow more time at the beach! Jim is a pilot for Allegiant Air & is based in Ft. Lauderdale. We have 3 daughters - Hailey, 22; Courtney, 21; & Kaitlyn, 17.

Jim & Vanessa Reid have been going to Destin since the late 90's. And loved every minute of it! Having a family ourselves, we loved that Destin offered some of the most pristine beaches in the world. Destin is very family-oriented & offers a large variety of activities for kids & adults alike. Lots of great shopping is available close by & a wide variety of delicious food is just minutes away. Some of our favorites include Old Bay Steamer, The Back Porch Pompano Joe's, The Crab Trap, Captain Dave's, Bonefish Grill & Callahan's.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
Our Gulfview property is very convenient to the beach, only about 200 yards away. It offers easy access to local shopping & area restaurants. We enjoy getting up in the mornings and going for walks or bicycle rides for an early breakfast & then head to the beach!!

My family and I have stayed in this condo more than a few times. It is close to everything that my family wants, entertainment, shopping and the beach. THe condo is always very clean and ready. It seems that it is set for just my family. We refuse to stay anywhere else. If Vanessa's place is not available, we change our vacation just to use her place. We had an absolutely fabulous vacation here! The condo was just perfect for our needs. The beach is in very close walking distance and the children enjoyed the 2 nice pools when they became tired of the ocean. The beach is very clean and the water is so clear you can see your toes at neck deep! Lots of great restaurants near the condo. More shopping than you could EVER want! Thanks Jim and Vanessa for a great stay! Will certainly plan to return!

Vanessa, Just wanted you to know how much we enjoyed our trip to your condo. We had such a great time!! The weather was wonderful and the beach was absolutely beautiful. We got out a little more and looked around Destin and decided that the location of Gulf View is the perfect spot. We love the surrounding buildings and the beach was not crowded at all. Thank you so much! I hope we can go again soon. Oh, and the food and shopping weren't that bad either!! Ha! Ha! Renee
