Great Vacation Home

This was our first trip to Lake of the Ozarks. The homeowners (Tom and Melissa) were very responsive and a pleasure to work with. The location is perfect and the neighbors are great! The home is very comfortable and spacious with a remarkable lakefront view from every floor. The kitchen is well stocked (lots of pots and pans, plates, cups, glasses, silverware, utensils, etc). Having a washer/dryer was wonderful because we won’t pack as many clothes next visit. Fishing off the dock was excellent; we caught a lot of fish: croppy, catfish (blues, channel and flatheads) and blue gill; it was my wife’s first fishing experience……. we had a ball!! The Missouri Fish and Game officers stopped by to say hello; we had our fishing licenses but the guys down the lake weren’t so lucky :( Evenings were quiet; we grilled and relaxed on the deck. We had an unforgettable vacation and definitely enjoyed our stay because we’re already planning an early fall return visit…. two weeks this time.

Lake Ozark Cousins Retreat

The house felt like home. It was comfortable, spacious and clean and neat. We had a great time and would recommend this house to anyone with a large group. We had twelve ladies that were all comfortable.

Comfy home for a family get-together

We were very pleased with all communications with the owner prior to the trip and delighted with the cleanliness and comfort of the house itself. The younger crowd enjoyed the game room and swim dock while the rest of us enjoyed hanging out on the deck visiting and enjoying the lovely weather. We couldn't have asked for a better atmosphere for enjoying our family get-together.

Perfect Family Vacation Home

We spent a week at your home with another family, our three children and a handful of their friends; all teenagers. This was a perfect place for us! The screened in game room was used for intense ping pong tournaments and the dock was perfect for daily lounging and swimming. We brought our boat and two jet skis and enjoyed the fairly calm cove for teaching skiing and just great jet skiing. We highly recommend this home--clean, well-kept and plenty of space for 12 people! Thanks for a great vacation...we will be back!

Great for Family Vacation

This house was great for 2 families with one king bedroom and one bathroom on each floor plus two other bedrooms on the top floor and 2 separate family room areas. The kids loved the jumping platform on the dock, and the view was beautiful from the back deck. The kitchen was well stocked with cups, plates and cooking utensils, plus a good sized refrigerator and dishwasher. The owners were very easy to work with. We had a great vacation week and we definitely recommend this house!

Melissa, The VRBO folks said I could only have one comment per guest book per e mail address so I had to delete my first one from 2007. So this is the 4th year we have been to your property and it could not have been better. The property is great and the fishing is also great which is a nice perk. Can't think of anything to suggest or comment on except we are already planning our trip for next year. See you then Joe

You will love this house. Lots to do, close to everything. Great view, and plenty of room. Our kids enjoyed the game room, and swim dock, plus we let them have the upstairs living area and bedrooms and we got the downstairs with the master bedroom and our own living area- so everyone was happy!

This is a great place to stay! My family and I came up to Lake of the Ozarks the first weekend of April 08 and we absolutly loved it! This house has everything you will need! Great place to stay! I will deffinitly use it again!

Tim & Dennis, Second year for us and your place was great. Fishing was great with well over 100 nice crappie in the freezer. Tell your dad thanks for checking on us as he didn't have to do that. see you next year. Joe

We're from Oklahoma and came to the lake for our church get together. Family of five. We had a wonderful time here. Great weather. Our favorite place to eat was dinner at The Lodge of the Four Seasons. Well worth a visit! Spa Shiki was nice too. Shopping was fun. Hiking at Ha Ha Tonka State Park was great. Bagnell Dam and Dog Patch was a cute place to shop for souveniers and play some games. The home we stayed in was wonderful. It had everything you needed. Was "homey" and relaxing. Enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset on the lake. Gameroom added that special something for the kids (& adults too)! We enjoyed grilling and the kitchen was well stocked. It was nice to have so many plates, glasses and silverware that you can actually fill the dishwasher and still have what you needed for the next meal up in the cabinets. The beautiful fall colors complimented our trip! The only thing we wished we could change is to have had a longer stay to have seen even more!

What a great lakehouse! We had never used VRBO before, and this was a great experience. The house was so inviting and accomodating with everything we could have needed. The kids entertained themselves with the awesome gameroom and swimming dock. We will definitely be coming back next summer!!
