This is a wonderful oceanview villa with three bedrooms, two and one-half baths. It is conveniently located with views of the ocean, lagoon, and the George Cobb-designed golf course from two decks. Sleeps six to eight comfortably - two Queens, two twins, and sleeper sofa - 1100+ square feet of space. **We just added a door to connect the second bedroom to a bathroom, so this essentially gives the villa two master bedrooms.

Bald Head Island, a unique barrier island off the southeast coast of North Carolina, offers a pristine, scenic environment of dunes, marsh, tidal creek, semi-tropical maritime forest, and 14 miles of beaches.
Park your car at the quaint village of Southport and take the ferry over to the island. Transportation on the island is by golf cart or
bicycle. Once there, you and your family will enjoy quiet walks on the beach, dining on the water in the harbor village or at one of the clubs, kayaking in the marshes, or spying abundant wildlife in the nature preserve.
Expect to see heron, kingfisher, and a variety of water birds in the beautiful lagoon meandering below while sipping your morning coffee on the main deck.
Club Membership - Bald Head Island Country Club gives you access to the handsome, shingle-style club house, excellent dining facilities, fitness room,golf, tennis, swimming, and croquet.

The Island is beautiful and quiet, yet at the same time has the facilities you need... a modern grocery, casual-to-elegant dining, ice cream shop, several clothes/gifts stores, etc. Fishing, kayaking, surf lessons, scavenger hunts and sightseeing charters are available.
