Perfect Chalet!

Every detail was thought of to make this a perfect weekend getaway...of course, we would've gladly stayed longer than a weekend! This chalet most certainly will not disappoint even the pickiest of travelers. My only regret is that we didn't bring our dogs, they would have loved it too!

Wonderfully relaxing!

My husband and I stayed at the Champagne Chalet for a relaxing birthday getaway weekend with our 2 dogs. We had planned to stay two nights and ended up adding a third night because we didn't want to leave! The owners were friendly and helpful; the Chalet was warm, inviting, and incredibly relaxing; and our dogs had a great time running around on the property. We will definitely be back!

What a holiday!

My GF and I recently spent the Thanksgiving holiday at the Champagne Chalet and had a wonderful experience. We were able to prepare a feast for us (and our 2 4-legged girls), and found everythign we needed at our disposal. The cabin is just as advertised with a romantic jetted tub by the fireplace, and views to die for: snow-capped mountains during the day and clear, starry nights. We really enjoyed the feeling of being in our own little world in the cabin, which is far back from the main B&B, and once we checked in, we were never disturbed. The drive to 'downtown' Bend is about 8 minutes, but we liked the quiet that the chalet gave us.

Owner response:Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. We are so glad you had a wonderful time! Hope to see you again next time. Sincerely, Tracy and Jim

quiet getaway in the country

A perfect getaway space that's beautiful, comfortable and private. I loved having the dual fireplace next to the leather couch for cozy evenings or by the 2 person jacuzzi for a romantic evening. There was comfort provided throughout from fuzzy blankets and robes to an emergency kit in case anything was forgotten. A wonderful collection of restaurant reviews and directions were in a room binder as well as hiking books to find trails in the area. Wi-fi, champagne massage table, and extra sprayers in the shower...really a special place. Loved our stay, all the sunshine in the rooms and the quiet~

Magical spot outside the beautiful town of Bend, OR

We absolutely loved it here. The dogs had an amazing time and the hyrdo-therapy tub was magical. There's a fireplace at the edge of the tub, and the entire Chalet creates a highly romantic getaway. The 10 acre plot of land is gorgeous, the views are great, and the hospitality is world-class. This is a must see stop for anyone that loves Central Oregon, or for anyone that wants to be treated like royalty.

They Thought of Everything - And More!

Guest: agentcricket (Vero Beach, Florida)

We had a lovely stay in the Champagne Cottage for our annual Anniversary Adventure. While out in the country, it's only 10 minutes to town. They thought of everything, from luxurious linens, robes, and slippers to satellite TV (not 1 but 2!) to a snuggly comforter on the leather couch to candles - even heated floors and towels, which for a Florida gal meant so much. Plus, it was great having a full kitchen with all the utensils and dishes and a cupboard full of spices, coffee, and tea so we could stay in and cook. Oh, did I mention the massage table and oils? Or that everything was meticulously clean?

Wonderful Cottage

We stayed in this wonderful cottage for 2 nights and loved it. It is very well appointed, comfortable and a wonderful place to stay while in Bend. Out dog was very welcome, even provided with her own welcome basket with bowls, treats, blankets, and welcome letter from the owner's dog Lola! Wonderful peaceful location in the country, but also very easy to get to town and to Mt. Batchelor. We can't wait to stay here again!

great country getaway yet close to town

Guest: love to travel (Southern Oregon Coast)
Date of Stay: 10/21/10 Review Submitted: 10/28/10

Perfect place when traveling with a pet - our dog loved chasing his ball and romping in the wide open country - yet, it was just minutes from all of the Bend activities. Jim & Tracy stocked the cabin with everything we needed in the kitchen - especially enjoyed being able to grill out dinner one evening. Only drawback was the lack of storage space - we were not able to unpack our suitcases - but, that was a minor inconvenience. In Bend, we had a yummy burger & fabulous service at Deschutes Brewery Public House and a great dinner experience (food, service, atmosphere) at the Pine Tavern. We hiked Tumalo Falls & beyond - easy to get to parking area, well-marked trail, scenic fall colors. Loved walking the dog along the Deschutes River downtown! Fabulous getaway!

A romantic getaway!

Date of Stay: 09/27/10 Review Submitted: 10/08/10

After traveling for three weeks throughout the northwest and taking in the sights of our great national parks, we were fortunate to spend our very last night at the delightful Champagne Challet in Bend, Oregon. Since we travel with our Golden Retriever it is sometimes difficult to find properties that are pet friendly and offer amenties that go beyond the routine motels. The Champagne Challet is a real treasure. The property is just as it is described and more. We had a little house that was carefully furnished with all the amenities to provide a real romantic getaway. Candles, a beautiful fireplace, jacuzzi tub, massage oils, and even a bottle of champagne helped create an ambiance that welcomed us and definitely invited us to return. The hosts have given careful thought to providing everything to make a great stay. They even included annotated recommmendations, complete with maps, of the best restaurants in the area. Our dog was in dog heaven as he was allowed to roam without a leash over the property. Our only regret was that our schedule allowed us to stay only one night. We definitely plan to return for a longer time in the future.

Great time

My husband and I and our dog had a great stay in the chalet. It was spotless and couldn't have been more comfortable or more private. Everything we needed was provided and the setting was lovely. There were books and maps available with lots of ideas for exploring the area. There are hiking trails within a half hour, the High Desert Museum is close and downtown Bend has shops, galleries and restaurants. We will definitely be back!

A Dream Come True!

Guest: Chris&Tiff (Eureka,CA)
Date of Stay: 04/26/10 Review Submitted: 05/22/10

My husband and I stayed here while he was on leave from Afghanistan. It was everything we could have hoped for and more! Jim & Tracey know just how to make their guests feel like royalty. They couldn't have done a more perfect job with the cabin. The pictures can't convey the feeling of welcome that emanates from this place. And they really did think of everything, we didn't want for anything while we stayed. It was so comforting we hardly wanted to leave for any reason, especially not to go home! We loved it so much that we've decided to make it a yearly trip. You can't find a better place to go with your spouse to get away and reconnect with eachother. I'd recommend it to anyone!

Owner response:Thank you for taking the time to write such a nice review. It really is a very special place.

What a blessing! If you want to relax and have plenty of romance this is the place to stay at. This cabin is so cozy yet elegant. Jim and Tracy's love for hospitality shows. The views are breath taking. We will be back again and again.

Owner response:Thanks for the kind words. We look forward to your return visits! Sincerely, Tracy and Jim, Innkeepers
