This wonderful Cape Cod style vacation rental is located in the quaint town of Overgaard, just a short two and a half hour drive from the Phoenix metro area. It sits in subdivision with one acre parcels, so you will have plenty of room to stretch out and rejuvenate from the cramped city lifestyle.

The 2400 square foot home offers sleeping for up to 8 in three large bedrooms and a loft, two and a half baths, an open great room layout, as well as a breakfast area and formal dining room (perfect for large family gatherings!), and a basement recreation room complete with ping-pong and fooseball tables, and TV with DVD (great place for the kids to hang out).

The main living area features a surround sound entertainment system, satellite TV, comfortable furnishings and a warm, cozy fireplace. There is even FREE wireless Internet available for those who need to stay connected.

Outside you will find an acre of Ponderosa forest and a beautiful 400 sq. ft. deck for relaxing in the trees. The rear yard is fenced and offers a hammock strung between the trees for afternoon siestas. The neighborhood is generally flat, so walking and biking are easy. And, if you are a mountain biker or ATVer, there are miles of trails and forest service roads in the area worthy of exploration. Or how about some golf? We're just 1 mile from the Pine Meadows Country Club with its scenic 9 hole semi-private golf course. Or, if fishing is your game, there are a number of crisp mountain lakes within a short drive of our home. Or, how about skiing? Cross country skiing is available in Forest Lakes, just 20 minutes away, and downhill skiing is offered at Sunrise Park Resort, 1 1/2 hours away.

Come on up and escape the cramped city lifestyle, marvel at the fresh powder of a cool winter snow, and enjoy the abundance of outdoor activities the Upper Mogollon Rim has to offer!

    • AWESOME place to stay, we loved it. HIGHLY recommend it to everyone. Want for nothing here, they have everything there waiting for you. Just bring your clothes, food and personal items and you are set. There is plenty of room for everyone. Be sure to check out the game room, no kids our bunch but we still used the game room. The owners are extremely helpful and a smooth transaction from beginning to end. I know that we will definitely be staying at this wonderful cabin in the cool pines again. We were lucky and got snow, made snowmen and threw snowballs. We did not want to leave.

    • Our 4th of July weekend was absolutely perfect. The home was so accommodating and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. We couldn't have asked for anything more. We had everything we could possibly need to make our visit comfortable at this beautiful home. Whether sitting on the back deck or watching Satellite TV, we were very relaxed.       It's kinda nice to not know what day it is. Thank you for the peace. The time spent here has been very helpful, not to mention it just saved me from $200,000 on a new job and spending 6 days a week working at the new job. Very special to have had the quiet time to think it out. Of course, another added bonus was sharing the time with my "Patron" friend, previously my "1800" friend. Priceless. I love your home away from home!

      Cool, classy, clean & comfy. A very homey place to get away to and relax. Make time to explore the forest roads. Save time to swing in the hammock and relax on the patio. Only thing we don't like is leaving here. We will definitely come again!
