Condo comes stocked with everything you will need. Snorkle gear, fins, cooler, beach mats, beach toys and more stuff than I could list here. Owner is very helpful and location is great. Near A Bay, which is a great beach and very close to the best beach in Hawaii, Hapuna Beach. There are also a slew of nearby resatuarants and a grocery store. Would certainly stay there again. My family had a great time.

We had a great time at The Shores at Waikokloa. The accomondations were comfortable and contained everything we needed to feel right at home, including beach towels, beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, and plenty of books. We had a top floor unit with a view of the mountains. We didn't want to leave, and will probably be back.

This unit is a great place to stay. Super convenient location - handy to beach, shopping, and certainly golf. Great facility with really nice pool area and unit is a good size with excellent lanai for comfortable living and relaxing. Very clean and well maintained with extra amenities provided to help during the stay. We have stayed in at least 10 different locations in the Islands over the past 20 years and have now repeated at this property and will return again on a regular basis. Hard to beat!!!

This condo is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the area around. Is very comfortable, cozy and well equipped. We stayed only four nights and we wished to had more time to spend there. The owner is very kind and had prepare everything and had provide us in advance with very detail instructions and suggestions. More than that, we would like to thank him for all of his help. Mahalo.

The unit was just as expected and described in the listing. Great location in a great complex and super value for the money. Very clean, well maintained and supplied and very comfortable. Owner was very helpful in facilitating arrangements and providing local information. We would certainly recommend the property to friends and relatives and return for future stays.

Very spacious with beautiful mountain view. Convenient pool & hot tub. We enjoyed walking around "A-bay", the anchialine ponds, and the beautiful hotels. Owner provides numerous great recommendations for activities, shopping, and dining.

No surprises, exactly as advertised, we LOVED it. We could not have asked for a more helpful and professional owner than A.J. It was like having our own private concierge offering helpful tips and hints all the way along. Outstanding communication and followup before, during and after our stay. Totally professional hospitality provider. Perfect accommodations for any couple seeking a quiet, private, secure, spacious and comfortable place to stay at Waikoloa. On second thought, we should maybe back off on the praise just a notch or two - we don't want 321 to become too popular because we'll want to be staying there again on our next trip to The Big Island. Delivered exactly as promised - no surprises, we loved it! Cannot imagine a better host/owner than AJ - like having our own concierge with helpful tips and advice at every turn. Outstanding two-way communication before, during and after our stay, and an extremely professional approach to Big Island hospitality. Property is spotless inside and out, showing real pride of ownership. We would highly recommend 321 for any couple that desires a spacious, comfortable, quiet and secure place for a stay in Waikoloa. On second thought, maybe we should back off on the accolades - want to make sure that 321 is still available and not rented to someone else when we return on our next trip to The Big Island. What a great two weeks we had On the Big Island and what made it especially enjoyable was the marvelous accommodation at 321 Shores! The condominium was completely furnished with everything anyone could want to enhance a vacation. The owner even called the first day to make sure everything was satisfactory! We would happily return for another stay!

We had a wonderful time during our stay and found the condo to be exactly perfect for a relaxing vacation! The place was stocked with everything we needed, very clean and the bed was so comfortable I want to get a new bed now! The location is in the perfect area as it is close to shopping, many nice restaurants and tons of very nice golf courses. I can't wait to go back again!

This was the perfect condo for two. My husband and I enjoyed it for 2 1/2 weeks. The location allowed us to visit my favorite snorkeling beach every morning. The gated community made us feel secure. The space was ample and allowed one to watch TV, while the other read. It was an easy drive to all parts of the island: Hilo being the farthest away. We were convenient to shops, restaurants,entertainment and most importantly Beaches. The bed was big and comfortable. The premises are clean and well maintained. The Lani/deck has a beautiful view of the mountains. The community was peaceful and quiet. (No loud parties were heard.) The Hilton has a beautiful collection of Asian Art and spending an afternoon there was like being in a museum. Well worth the stroll. It is within walking distance. Everything you might need in a vacation rental for two is at 321 The Shores, Waikoloa.

My wife and I have stayed at 321 Shores for four years . It is a treat to return. It is a five star experience for the following reasons 1.Nicely decorated and equipped. The condo is maintained with with great care by an owner who cares about his guests. Descriptions are accurate and photos are as it is. 2. Great rates. 3.Convenient to beaches, shops, restaurants, activities. "A Bay " is a great beach fo snorkeling, They filmed a TV series there once upon a time. Try Merriman's for great Moroccean fish dish and wonderful short ribs. 4. Quiet and spacious. Well maintained and clean. 5. Great views of Mauna Kea 7. The complex is very well landscaped and maintained. 8. The owner is available for questions and information about the real Hawaii. He lives close by.Nice guy. My wife and I first discovered 321 Shores at least four or five years ago and have stayed there every year since. 321 is a wonderful location in a very nice complex. Being on the third floor at the end of the building, it is extremely quiet, and has a wonderful view of both Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa. The large L-shaped lanai has a beautiful tiled surface, with comfy lounge chairs plus a table with four comfortable padded chairs. The owner is a resident of the island, and so is availaible for any needs that may arise, and always calls a day after arrival to make sure everything is OK. The price is well below other units in the complex, and it's a great value. And it's centrally located in the Waikoloa Resort, but far enough off of the main road to be peaceful and quiet. We stayed at 321 in May of this year (2010) again, and have already reserved it again for 2011. It feels like home anytime we are there.

We came home after two weeks in 321, looked at our pictures and promptly booked with the owner for next winter. It was that cozy and relaxing. A quiet corner unit with a lanai that gives you a choice of sun or shade all day made it hard to find time for a swim in a very generous sized pool. Books, tapes etc. in the full sized living room made us feel like guests not tourists. The area has a clever mix of native, rugged beauty and lush, landscaped walk ways. A.J. was a very helpful host. We (2 adults and a child) stayed in 321 condo at the Shores in August 2006 and 2009, and we loved it! In fact, we are going on our vacation to the Big Island this summer and we'll be again staying at 321. Needless to say, we like it there! The condo was very comfortable, clean, spacious, and convenient to everything. It is in a quiet complex with beautiful landscaping and nice swimming pool and spa, in which we liked to relax in the evening. Though it is very kids friendly (important for us, since we have an 8 year old daughter), it was never noisy. The owner, A. J., is a wonderful person. His travel information and hints were very helpful. We enjoyed our stay at 321 at the Shores and we will definitely be back! I highly recommend this condo to anyone!

We stayed in unit 321 at the Shores. After reading the mixed reviews I was a little reluctant to book a room at The Shores, but somehow I found the unit 321 advertised on the internet by its owner, AJ. He himself manages this particular unit and we booked it directly with him through waikoloacondo.com That way we knew exactly where we were going to stay. It was very nice and extremely clean. It had everything you need, from sunscreen and shaving cream to kitchen utensils, coffee, beach mats, spices, snorkeling gear, books, movies, and Hawaii travel guides. The view from the huge terrace was gorgeous; you could see the sun rising on top of Mauna Kea. The closest beach is Anaehoomalu Beach next to Marriott, a short 10 minute walk (or 2 minute drive) from The Shores. My favorite beach was Mauna Kea Beach, a 10-minute drive north of Waikoloa Resort. It was a wonderful stay and we cannot wait to go back.
