In the Black Hills of South Dakota, this new log cabin is located four miles west of Lead on a private road leading to a meadow. The cabin sets on 7.8 acres with plenty of room to roam, park snowmobiles and a camper or two.
The interior of the cabin is log and sheetrock. Tongue-and-groove knotty pine enhance the cathedral ceilings. The cabin has a loft with two queen beds and a bathroom. Downstairs has two bedrooms (one with a queen bed and the other with bunkbeds), full bath, laundry room, open kitchen, and living room. The living room has a queen sofa sleeper. The cabin has a front and back deck equipped with a gas grill.
The cabin is also located in a snowmobile trail (#5) and is close to Deer Mountain and Tery Peak Ski Resorts. There is room to roam for nature walks, do some hiking, and watch the many deer that frequent the area.

This cabin is near perfect. Very clean and roomy with an excellent location. Wish it had a dishwasher and fireplace but that won't stop us from renting it again. Comfortably sleeps 8, 10 might be a little tight. Excellent value!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, people with disabilities, families with young children.

We just returned from a very enjoyable weekend in the Hills. The weather was great for skiing and we truly enjoyed staying at your cabin. Our family of five had a wonderful stay. Surrounded by nature; abundant deer and wild turkey, birch trees and singing birds. We loved it! Clean and quiet; we couldn't have asked for more!
