What a wonderful experience we had staying at this lovely condo. The pictures do not do justice to the amazing views from the deck. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were in great shape. We stayed over Christmas and made a huge turkey dinner Christmas night. Everything we needed to make the dinner was in the kitchen. The only thing missing was a meat thermometer for the turkey!!! Christmas day we were lounging on the deck and got visited by about 10 dolphins just off shore. A little while later, we saw whales farther out...it was a blessed day to be sure. A side note to people who check on "Yelp" for the Ocean Beach area: Contrary to what a lot of people are writing, we found it to be a very pleasant little area. Very walkable, even at night. This is coming from a middle aged guy who likes peace and quiet. You're a short drive to Seaworld and the zoo. About 5 minutes away there's a brand new Ralph's for all your grocery needs or you can walk to the little, local grocery store. I would highly recommend this great place to anybody looking to truly relax and enjoy being right on the ocean.

My husband & I spent a week here to celebrate our 5th Anniversary, and it couldn't have been a more wonderful experience. I haven't felt so refreshed and relaxed in years. First of all, the condo is located right above the ocean, with incredible views of the coastline, as well as lovely views of the beach and rocky coastline below. We watched pelicans fly by, surfers, and the waves crashing on the rocks. We also enjoyed spectacular sunsets. Others who have stayed here have seen dolphins. There is a stairway directly across from the condo's gated property that goes down to the beach below, for easy access. The condo itself has an underground gated garage, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one with a jacuzzi tub), a full kitchen, and a washer and dryer. It is decorated beautifully and tastefully in peaceful colors, with natural light in abundance. The sheets are divine, and the towels & blankets are super soft. They have provided a notebook with important information, as well as a basket full of brochures and guides to area restaurants and activities . Pinkie & Tom, the owners, are delightful to deal with, and are prompt to answer questions and address any concerns. For example, when we couldn't get a DVD player to work, they immediately contacted the property manager and he came within an hour to fix the problem. This was our first condo rental, and we found the property through VRBO, Vacation Rentals By Owner. We were a little concerned, because we had never booked a place this way before, but we were BLOWN AWAY by the beauty and location of this place. You will not be disappointed -- we felt like honored guests, with extra touches like fresh flowers, bubbly, and coffee. We can't wait to return, because we feel that this is our best vacation EVER! It's wonderful to feel that a place has been worth every penny, and this experience was way beyond our expectations. THANK YOU PINKIE AND TOM! Jim & Jeannie

"Memorial Day" Thank you so much for renting your amazing place to us for this magical weekend. Our first evening here we got to see dolphins jumping in the surf right outside our bedroom. We got to witness amazing sunsets and waves pounding on the rocks below. We got to walk to amazing bars and restaurants and it was a quick drive to Petco Park to see the Padres in an 11 inning win against the Washington Nationals. Our little daughter Sienna slept in the huge master closet and she loved the dark and the quiet, and let us sleep "in" until 7:30 or 8:00 every morning which was so nice:) Your place is immaculate and gives us all the comforts of home. We can not wait to come back soon.

What a wonderful place with a beautiful view! Thank you for the flowers! Champagne! This is an excellent location for day activities to the Zoo, Sea World, Leggoland, Coronado, Old Town and La Jolla. We played all day and then came home for a wonderful sunset. We also saw Dolphins in the mornings! This was an excellent place to have a two year old to play! We hope to be back soon!!

We just wanted to let you know that our deposit refund cheque arrived safely today - thank you very much. I also had noticed in the binder you have in the condo (which was really helpful, by the way) that you asked for a picture or two, so I've attached a couple that I took while we were there. (see website Testimonials for pictures). I must say "Thank You" again for our wonderful week in your very special San Diego home. It was just ideal for our family, including our two little grandaughters. We loved the Ocean Beach community and being within walking distance of so many great restaurants, shops and the pier. We were easily able to access Sea World, the Wild animal Park, Balboa Park, the Gas Lamp distrrict and even a day at Disneyland and knew that we had a wonderful 'home away from home' to return to each evening. We hope to be able to return one day soon - and if you're ever in Calgary, give us a call.

This beautifully decorated condo was everything you could ask for. It was clean and well taken care of.Everything is in working order. It is freshly painted and carpets cleaned. The owner is friendly and will handle any questions. Should a problem arise they will be there for the renter! From my experience I wouldn't expect a problem to come up as everything is well maintained. I would recommend this propery(I HAVE) to any and everyone!!! It's close to all of San Diego's attractions and the airport. Yet when you are there you feel like you are in your our own private hideaway. I really liked the secure parking and condo.You didn't have to worry about anything. All you had to do was enjoy yourself. Believe me you will. You can eat in with a spectacular view of the ocean or visit any of the great restaurants within a short walking distance. If you get a chance to visit San Diego stay nowhere else!!!!!!!!!! I will be back!!!!!!!!! Just us and that spectacular ocean view.
