A great fishing and boating cottage in the middle of the Everglades. You will be in a waterfront 2 bedroom cottage on a private island next to Everglades City.
We, offer docking privileges for your boat and fishing, in the Ten Thousand Islands.
We have a clubhouse with a swimming pool & deck,computer room with high speed internet, printer, flat screen tv's and a party bar located a short walk from your cottage.
Our boat captain will shuttle you on a 5 minute ride back and forth to Everglades City 7 days a week.
Big Cypress National Preserve and many State parks nearby.
We offer scenic boat tours from our dock. You may also rent kayaks, boats, and canoes.Bring your own boat, which will be docked near your cottage.
Local dockside restaurants serve ocean seafood and fresh fish. Historical Rod & Gun Club restaurant is within sight of our island.
We have three homes available, two sleeps 6 and the other sleeps 4. . We are always available and do not keep a calendar.

We chose this location because it is great for boaters, fishermen, and families. The Everglades offers free boardwalks, and your choice of boat tours. We like to canoe & kayak.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
Our Cottage is unique and on the water. You may dock your boat. Nature surrounds you and you might see a Dolphin, Eagle, or manatee. Alligators are not in the water near our island. You may see alligators just 15 minutes by car from our cottage.

We spent a week at this great cottage. Chris made sure we had all the information necessary for us to have an enjoyable vacation. The entire Everglades City area, but especially Pleasure Island, is very relaxing and a location where you are surrounded by nature. We would very much consider coming back again. The highlight of our week was when Wade, the person responsible for taking care of the island, took us on his boat to Picnic Key where we had our own private beach. Wade brought a kayak for me while my wife enjoyed lounging on our beautiful secluded beach. We were able to see a lot of wildlife included several dolphins from very close range. Wade and his wife, Gina, take care of the island and did everything to make our week a pleasant stay. The entire experience was positive and will be fondly remembered.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Chris went above and beyond to organize our trip and ensure our needs/wishes were met. The island is spectacular- secluded yet close to everything. Wade who runs the island and organizes outdoor adventures took us on a boat trip to our own private island and then waited offshore until we were ready to come home. Highly recommend, espescially for families.

We stayed here a year ago and are still talking about it to our friends. Chris was very helpful in providing us with local information and we loved being so close to the Everglades attractions. It was very nicely furnished, and relaxing at night after a busy day. hope to return someday.

This is a perfect location for visiting the Everglades and Everglades National Park; better than staying at the southern end near Florida City. The cottage is new and fully equipped on a quiet island. A short boat ride takes you to the car parking lot. Don't miss the Shark Valley tram ride, and be sure to take the flat-bottom boat through the mangroves. The birds were spectacular, and the alligators were too numerous to count. A good experience in a very unique area.
