Sunriver Location: #12 Backwoods Lane is ideally located just a two minute walk across Abbott Drive to the Sunriver Village Mall, the center for many resort activities.
The new SHARC (Sunriver Aquatic and Rec Center opening May 2012) is a short walk or bike ride away and year-round access is included with your booking!
There is an extensive common area of open lodgepole pine forest on two sides of the home that provides privacy.
Living Area: This attractive, quality furnished, 1100 sq ft home has a cabin ambiance. A recent remodel project included new carpet, tile from the entry to the kitchen and dining areas, new fireplace rock and hearth, and new doors and trim throughout. The living and dining area feature exposed beams and a vaulted cedar tongue and groove ceiling. Upper windows along the ridge provide an openness to the beauty of the outdoors. The gas fireplace adds warmth in the winter, while the central air conditioning will be appreciated on those warm summer days. There is a 32 inch LCD TV with cable, DVD, stereo with CD player and ipod dock, and high speed wireless internet access.
Kitchen & Dining: The kitchen is open to the living and dining areas. The dining room table provides seating for 6, and the breakfast bar has additional seating for 2. From the dining area there is direct access through a sliding glass door to the deck with outdoor furnishings and gas BBQ.
Bedrooms & Baths: The master suite has a king bed and private bath, while the second bedroom provides a queen bed and set of bunks with hall bath nearby. Both bedrooms have LCD TVs with DVDs. A double hide-a-bed is located in the living area.

Attention to Quality:
We are owner-managers who live 15 minutes away from Sunriver in Bend and are able to oversee the condition of our properties. We generally check on our homes between guests to ensure maintenance items have been addressed and the home is prepared for your arrival. We pay slightly more for our housekeeping service to get the quality we desire.
Attention to detail includes fresh coffee beans and a grinder for those who enjoy a cup or two to start the morning. Kitchens are fully supplied with commonly used cooking utensils, pots and pans, dishes and silverware. In the baths you will find a selection of upgraded starter toiletries that includes shampoo, conditioner, lotion and soap, as well as a hair dryer.
Deck & Hot Tub: Through the sliding glass door off the dining area is a large deck with patio furnishings, hot tub for 5, and gas barbecue.
Parking & Bikes: The home includes a double garage for parking out of the weather, with additional parking on the large, paved drive. Four adult cruiser bikes and a Burley 2-child bike trailer are provided.

Sunriver Resort: Sunriver is located on the east slopes of the Cascade Mountains in the heart of central Oregon's recreational paradise. This popular, world-class resort has extensive bike paths, three 18-hole golf courses, tennis courts, swimming pools, parks, and shopping center with a variety of shops and restaurants. Mt Bachelor ski area is just 20 minutes away, along with the Cascade Lakes recreational area and nearby High Desert Museum.

Great location, walking distance to the Village and Lodge. Quiet court. Beautifully decorated. Very clean, comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Flat screen tv's in all rooms and ipod/mp3 player in great room.

My husband and I and our daughter and her husband were able to stay in this wonderful home before Christmas. It was just perfect for us! We loved the great location and the warm woodsy feel. The fireplace was so nice to turn on and enjoy after our days of skiing and everything was clean and well maintained. We loved the hot tub and bar be cue also! We would love to come back and would definitely recommend this home to others. The owners were great to work with. We had a wonderful time.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

This is our first stay in Backwoods 12 in, we think, 14 years. We love this place and all the improvements that have been done. We outgrew it for a number of years. We were glad to be back "home" and see how well it has been cared for. Thank you! We hope to come back again soon.

We've been coming here for years. We love the updates that have been done and king size bed is great. Love to sit back and just relax. Bike rides are great and shopping in Bend and outlet stores and the Old Mill District.

Thanks so much for allowing us to book with you at Backwoods #12 this week. It was perfect! My colleagues..just loved the place and thoroughly enjoyed the sunriver experience. The way the home was appointed and how the spaces were decorated and arranged was very comfortable and inviting - we truly made ourselves at home. We enjoyed the outdoor grill and a great meal in on Thursday night after a tremendous day of skiing. We had a fantastic time and your home was a key ingredient to making this time with my colleagues an absolute home run. Thanks again for having us.

This is a very nice place, in a great location near groceries and shops in Sunriver. Here's what keeps if from GREAT: the fireplace is not central in the layout of the living space, so I didn't use it. The TV has the same problem, with the same result. The kitchen has everything, but a real cook would wish for better pots and pans. The price was very reasonable for Sunriver. I really enjoyed the bike, as the pathways were clear an dry in February while I was there.
Recommended for:Pet owners, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

Loved the decor; touch of class by adding basic necessities like paper goods and supplies often not provided at VRBO's. The peaceful atmosphere, awesome location, BBQ and hot tub make this a top 5 on our list of famorite places to go. Hope to be back again soon!

We loved just being here and spending time with our family in this gorgeous location....We at in the whole time. All the great amenities made it easy and convenient....We were so comfortable. This place is so homey and clean. We will always remember this trip and hope to come back soon.
