THE ROCKMOORE HOUSE And Guest House is located just ten minutes from town and two miles from Three Creek Ranch, the ROCKMOORE HOUSE and Guest House is an extraordinary alternative for horse lovers and guests with large or multiple families....or just people who value privacy, serenity, and stunning Teton views, all in a distinctive setting.
Tucked into the base of an undeveloped butte on over 20 acres, the Rockmoore House is surrounded on three sides by pasture and a groomed polo field, with a beautiful spring creek running directly in front of the house. A log home with a cedar shake roof, the Western design continues into the interior, where the floors, ceilings, and walls in the public spaces are all finished in woods.
Entertainment is focused on the great room, a comfortable space with vaulted ceiling, wood-burning fireplace, 48-inch TV, and a state of the art Bang and Olufsen sound system. In the summer and fall guests often gather on the adjacent stone patio, which features ample seating, an outdoor fireplace, oversized gas grille, and amazing sunset views.
The gourmet country kitchen juxtaposes the warm feeling of a beamed ceiling and old wood furnishings with a six-burner, two-oven gas Viking range, two sinks (one with three bowls), and a full height, commercial-grade Sub-zero refrigerator/freezer.
Every bedroom in the house has a vaulted ceiling and glass on two sides, creating a pleasing light and airy effect. The master bedroom suite, located on the ground floor in its own wing, has a king bed, large walk-in closet and dressing room with abundant built-in cabinets, and a gracious bath with dual vanities, soaking tub, separate shower, and an enclosed water closet. Completing the suite is a fully-equipped office, accessed either by a ship’s ladder from the master bedroom or through a lock-off door from a guest bedroom on the second floor.
The upstairs has five bedrooms plus two double beds tucked into alcoves adjacent to a children’s play area. Two of the bedrooms have queen-size beds and their own full baths, while the other three (queen with crib, twins with crib, and a bunk bed) are located in their own wing and share a bath with dual vanities....perfect for a family.
Visiting guests can be quartered in their own 1500 square foot guest house, complete with two bedrooms, a bath, a large sitting area, and a small kitchen with dining table. As in the main house, this split log siding cabin has vaulted ceilings throughout.
For horse lovers, there is ample space to stable horses and exercise them on the expansive grounds. And for polo players, the house is located less than five minutes from the Jackson polo fields.
