The view took my breath away!!

Our family stayed here in June, 2011 for two weeks with two kids. The experience was amazing with good price. The location was more than we asked for with great view. You have this unobstructed ocean view everymorning from your living room and the beach is only 2mints walking from the building. Location is almost everything when you have two kids who run to the beach every morning. We rented a car during our stay and parked the car at the attatched garage, which was very convenient, parking fee was $10 daily. Restaurants are all walking distance and make sure you try teh Jinroke, Japanese restaurant and Me barbeque right behind Pacific Monarc, they are very good. Only down side is that it is kind of small for 4 people but with that price, we could handle that. Overall, I fell in love with the view every morning and night, ( the waikiki night city vew was amazing).

Owner response:*** Owners Response *** There are 4 beds, including the futons, so each person got their own bed, we have put fancy memory foam pads on the futons and beds to make them more comfortable. We find that many people bring too many suitcases, in Hawaii you do not need much in the way of clothes and accessories; most people will go to the ABC store a block away and buy swimsuits, rubber flip flop sandals, inexpensive Hawaiian jewelry, T-shirts, etc., it is very inexpensive, so do not bring too much stuff from home. You are correct about the food, the Me Cafe across the street has takeout Korean food that is healthy and you get a huge amount, American style breakfast too; and Jinruko on the ground floor has the fancy set up where you can watch the chef cook your meal. Mahalo and Aloha from the team at ParadiseWithAView.

We stayed at this condos for two weeks in May. Our stay here vastly exceeded our expectations. The condo has a nice bedroom with two closets and a flat screen TV in the bedroom, as well as one in the living room, that plays videos. There is a tub, and a shower in the bathroom. The kitchen has more than what we needed in terms of kitchen equipment. The sheets were new, and there was a new rug on top of the carpet in the bedroom, which, appears to be changed often, as it was almost new. There was some toilet paper, but we had to buy our own after it ran out. There is a store one block away that has everything we needed, at ver reasonalble prices. We had to had our own beach towels. The lanai has a nice, and clean, indoor/outdoor carpet, and comfortable cushions on the chairs. The giant screen TV also plays Hawiaan music. There are rugs over the marble floors. The view from the 30th floor is up and down the coast, and is so spectacular that it is hard to describe. We compared prices with nearby hotels and were surprized at how expensvie everything is. We will always treasure out stay in Waikiki, and the property was truly Paradise With A View.

What a great place! It is so convenient to so many things especially the beach and The Bus. The decor is awesome and quite comfortable. Love the balcony. We had an amazing time. Thanks so much. This will become our new 1st. choice of preferred properties to stay during our visits to Waikiki, and I would have no reservations whatsoever in recommending the property to anyone who seeks quality and comfort. My only concern, this is one of the BEST deals in Hawaii, and may become so popular that one would have to book well in advance to ensure a reservation!

This property is right on the best beach in Waikiki, the Duke Kahanamoku beach, right near the statue of Duke. Just perfect. We were very comfortable with it. you get a good view of the beach from every room.

The large corner lanai is what makes it special, and the views.

We found the large corner lanai to be much larger than surrounding buildings in Waikiki, so, we ate most of our meals outside in the fresh air. There is also a large chase lounge outside and the lounge and the chairs all have very comfortable cushions. The lanai even has nice outdoor carpting on it, which has a very classy feel to it. There is thick memory foam on the beds and the futons which we enjoyed as we needed some heavy rest after working so hard back home, this was a nice, peaceful, vacation for us. The car rental agency is one block away, to the right, on Kuhio; the Geo Trackers are fun to rent and we parked for free a few blocks inland along the Ali Wai canal. It was nice to have a full sized kitchen. There is a huge flat screen TV in the living room, really big, and it plays Hawaiian music as well. The dining room table gives you a direct view of Duke Kahanamoku beach and the ocean, you can also see the Aloha Friday night fireworks, we really enjoyed that a lot. We got our room keys at the front desk, it was very convenient and the people who work at the hotel are super freindly. All in all, it was lovely.

This is our favorite place to stay, we have been here many times. It is right near the best beach, and near the grocery store which makes shopping easy. We are newly-weds and had to actually take money out of our IRA accounts to pay for this trip. It was well worth it. The views are beyond belief, you not only see up and down the coast, but you also can see Diamond Head mountain. There is plenty of parking, everything is close by, and the people are especially nice.

Yes the vrbo listing was very accurate; actually, this condo is nicer than the photos suggest, and has more amenities than what is advertised, the kitchen is fully equipped for serious cooking. The owners website has dozens of photos and that was very helpful to us. There is an online booking system that gives a 30% discount, it also gives you an immediate price quote and all the details. You get the room keys at the front desk of the hotel. There is a giant screen TV, huge, on the wall in the living room, and a flat screen TV in the bedroom. There is a full sized kitchen, which is very rare in Waikiki; also the outside porch, the lanai, is three times larger than most of the condos in Waikiki, and it has carpeting, padded seat cushions and a full sized chiase lounge; really comfy. The beds all have thick Temperpedic memory foam, including the futons which have memory foam as well, very nice. All was clean and the sheets and towels looked brand new; the towels were thick and extra long, bright white. The front desk staff were very nice, and helpful with our suitcases. We would highly recommend this condo. We rented a car by the day for about $50 and returned it on days when we did not need it; there is a car rental agency about 1 block away, to the right, on Kuhio. There is a large grocery store, to the left on Kuhio that has everything, it is a 3 minute walk, and even has those $10 propane cannisters for the Weber grill on the deck. The deck, lanai, is a corner, giving spectacular views of Daimond Head and up and down the coast; you can see the Aloha Friday fireworks from the lanai. There is a roof top pool, and the beach is just a few steps away, so I would go swimming in the morning before having breakfast on the lanai. This is a good vacation for us as we work very hard and like our creature-comforts; the beds were super comfy and everything was plush and relaxing. Check out the owners website for more info. We rented a car for about $50 a day, the trick to it is to be super friendly and ask for the Kaimana (ki ma ana) discount that the local residents get; also, the trick to Hawaii is to get the Aloha spirit and be super nice to everyone.

We have stayed at the Pacific Monarch a number of times and found apartment to be very disappointing . The bed linen is of very poor quality and needs renewing as does the two sofas in the living area. We found it necessary to wash the bed linen on arrival as it appeared to be unchanged from the previous tenant.Carpets could stand a good clean and shampoo or replacement and paintwork is a little tired. The web site indicates a recently refurbished apartment but in actual fact it would appear this was some years ago. Excellent views and the tvs are modern.Found the online booking sytem to be very user- unfriendly and the owner impossible to contact as was the Waikiki representative when keys were not available on arrival.

Owner response:***** Owners Response ***** ...we buy new bed linens every six months, we replace the carpet and futon covers annually. ...the room is professionally cleaned, additional cleaning supplies are available under the sink. ...the on-line booking system offers a 30% discount on price. ...we have two staff members in Waikiki that you can call on the phone. ...you get the keys from the front desk at the hotel, but you need to have your paperwork in order. ...this condo is far more deluxe than comparable hotel rooms, in this price range. Warmest Regards, ParadiseWithAView (a professionally managed vacation rental company)

Wow. We were blown away by th views of the ocean and coastline, and Diamond Head. You can lie in bed an watch TV while looking out at the water which is aqua marine and crystal clear and clean. It is really convenient being so close to the beach as we have children and it can be a big project getting everyone organized to go to the beach, here, we just gathered up our stuff and walkd a short block right to Duke Kahanamoku beach. In the evengings there are Hawaiian dance events on the beach. You can also rent surfboards, beach chairs and canoes very reasonably. What is nice about this condo is that it is protected from the sun, too much sun can be a big problem in Waikiki, so here, there is nice shade from the way the roof covers part to the large lanai. We mostly lived on the lanai where there is a nice barbeque, this saved us a lot of money not having to go to restaurnat every night. You can buy fuel for the outside grill a short ways away at the Food Pantry, it is vey convenient. This place is on the 30th floor, so it was nice that the elevators were air conditioned. The outside of the buidling was just painted so it all looks very clean and modern. This condo was great for cooking and entertaining, everything was laid out nicely and it was much nicer than staying in a hotel room. We took the Roberts bus from the airport right to the front door of the hotel, for only $10, what a deal. We noticed that the Geo Trackers that you can rent a block away, do not have seatbelts in the back seat; the owner of this condo told us to rent the Toyota or Honda sedans instead of the jeeps because they are more reliable and he told us not to leave anyting in the car when visiting the beaches on the north shore. We highly reommend going to Hanauama Bay. The luxury and accomodations of this condo really made our stay enjoyable, and, we just had to laugh at the people a block away paying $900 a night for basically the same type of rooms we had, for a very small fraction of that price - thank you vrbo, we will be back, for sure.

A great time was had by all. The owners were very helpful and the condo was professionally cleaned. It had everything you need, and then some. Much nicer than a hotel room. We walked to the beach each day and enjoyed the views. There are canoe races in the evenings that we enjoyed watching. If you have some binoculars, you could watch the college baseball games in the evening under the lights of the ball park; it is very charming. We saw a rainbow about every 4th day. Our total stay was for two months, and this is our third time we have stayed in this condo. We plan to come each year.

Being on the 30th floor is nice because the tradewinds blow and keep the condo cool; we did not have to use the air conditioner.

The suite was a marvellous place for our holiday as we needed comfortable accommodation so that our son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren could join us . There is ample space with all amenities, and we were invited to treat the majestic condo as our own home during our stay. The staff were very helpful and hospitable and we were delighted with our choice. The grocery store is about 10 minutes away, on foot, and the walk to the beach is only a block away. Easy bus access at the front door of the building. Car rental, or scooter rental is a possibility, but walking helps to justify all those wonderful Hawaiian food calories. The Hawaiian staff are charming, and honest people. They are very helpful and truly kind to their renters. We will absolutely repeat our stay, next year. There is so much to experience on Oahu, two weeks are just not enough.

Owner response:Thank you, I am gald that you had a nice vacation. I believe that the grocery store is only two, or , three blocks away; about a 5 minute walk. Warmest regards, ParadiseWithAView

The fantastic holiday we spent in Waikiki was perfect because of our accomodations. The apartment is modern, spotless, conveniently located and has all the comforts of home. However it is the views that make you fall in love with the area. It is breathtaking. You will never want to leave. I will only go back to Waikiki if I can stay in this exact room at the Aston Pacific Monarch, #3002. I particularaly liked the double security system that requires a key card to get in the elevator area. It is nice also that the building staff is there all night at the front desk. We felt very safe walking around. Dawn Carstoffen

Owner response:Hi Dawn, thank you for the kind words, often, we give discounts to returning customers, so, the next time you want to stay with us, please let me know in advance, and, I will give you a discount code for the booking system. Best regards, ParadiseWithAView

Myself and three girlfriends stayed in this condo the week of Apr 30 thru May 7th. The condo, as well as the trip was wonderful. The air conditioning worked great as well as everything else. The views are unbelievable. The beds were all comfortable. And the condo was well supplied. This condo was well located and we hope to rent it again in the future. Why look for something else when you have the best.

Owner response:Hi Betty, we had a nice time talking with you when you were here. Please come again soon. Kindly, ParadiseWithAView
