Built in 1866 by a local wine merchant, this fully furnished, stone-built maison is ideal for families with children of all ages, a group of friends, honey-mooners, couples wishing to 'play house', or anyone with a taste for comfort, space and privacy.

It is situated on Avenue du Minervois, the Village's main street, convenient to shops and restaurants. The house's austere front reflects the 19th-century builder's attitude that it is unnecessary to impress either strangers or the tax collector with one's wealth. The rich interior and sunny garden, however, show an appreciation of comfort and good living.

At the end of the large foyer are a spacious living room, which offers a fireplace, and the dining room with seating for eight. The windows look out onto the back courtyard and carriage house. Access to the courtyard is through the 'cave', a remnant of the village's medieval ramparts.
