We are constantly upgrading and adding to it's comfort and have owned since 2000. As a family of 4, we have loved Maui Sunset since before we owned here. Maui Sunset means Hawaii to us. This one bedroom condo is easy to live in. We stay a month to 6 weeks, at a time, so we know. There is now
free Wi-Fi. The drapes are darkening for the sleepers.
The bedroom is located at the back of the unit, complete with full bathroom so the quiet ones can read, while the TV or music is on. We also installed an extra-long twin bed and dresser right outside the second bathroom. Our daughter has reign over the queen sofabed, which has an extra thick mattress. We have a CD and DVD player in the condo. There is plenty of seating with several comfortable chairs.
You can take advantage of the excellent views of Maui Sunset's large and beautifully manicured grounds, swim in our large pool or read in our comfortable lounge chairs. There is always one available. The views are spectacular or you could play tennis with ocean views or walk the miles of grassy oceanfront.
I love the kitchen and as a cook, keep a well stocked kitchen. The free washer and dryer is right in kitchen closet. It means lots less packing, when you have a washer on premises. There is close parking and elevators bring you up to the fourth floor.
Our condo is handicapped friendly and has lovely views from the bedroom of Lahaina Mountains and from balcony of Haleakala and beach, or you could look at the newly installed waterfall below. The entire condo is accessible and I have seen many a wheel chair around Maui Sunset. The grounds lend themselves to accessibility.
The Trade winds are always a delight or you could play tennis or shuffleboard while watching a sunset or visit the weight room on site.
Our private patio and Lanai has a table seating 4 for meals and for watching sunsets and sunrises. My husband especially likes to play his guitar in the morning, as he watches the sunrise, over Haleakala. We think you will love this comfortable, well supplied and attractive condo, for a week or for a month, as we do.

- Air Conditioning : There is A/C in ,master bedroom and livingroom area. I like it cool. Also ceiling fans in both areas.
- Linens Provided : Beach towels,and all towels/sheets and kitchen linen
- Elevator : Our condo is 3 condos away from elevator. Close enough to get to and not so you hear noise from bedroom or it inhibits view of Lahaina Mountains from bedroom.
- Washer : Free stackable in condo kitchen/closet. We start with 1 packet of soap
- Dryer : Free stackable in kitchen closet
- Off Street Parking : There is plenty of parking. If you stay out late might have to walk 50 feet. We have a security guard from 5pm through dawn.. He has been here 20plus years. We have no problems.

- Queen Bed : We have a good one. No one has ever talked about it not being comfortable.
- Twin/Single Bed : X-Long Twin outside 2nd bathroom. I bought for when son came. It acts as a 2nd couch for naps.

- Shared Hot Tub : People love it. After a day at the ocean. Always clean and well maintained.
- Sauna : Available on the property just ask office for keys. It is on our side ground floor.

The Unique Benefits of this Condo
Maui Sunset is kid friendly but never crowded or over populated with people.I see many wheelchairs and strollers on the wide paths near BBQ/Pool and Beach.

We stayed in Linda's condo after emailing many owners at the Maui Sunset. She gave us the best deal for all her place had to offer. Fully stocked condo made us feel right at home and the kids loved the boogie boards and we loved the beach chairs and cooler. We explored many beaches while we were in Maui for boogie boarding, surfing and snorkeling and it was awesome not having to rent anything but a surfboard. We will definitely be back again and have referred Linda and her condo to a few of our friends that are interested in Maui this coming year. Thanks again Linda David, Caroline, Noelle and Sam

This is the third time we've been to this great place. Linda is the consummate hostess and we keep coming back to this well furnished condo. We did a lot of snorkeling and saw a lot of fish and turtles. We really appreciate the beach chairs and the boogie boards which are furnished by the owners. We'll be back again in the future!

This condo was the perfect home base for our Maui adventures. Maui Sunset is a well kept condo complex with immaculate grounds. It has a large pool and borders a small city beach park. The location was convenient to grocery stores and allowed easy access to any part of the island. Unit 403A has everything one might need for an enjoyable vacation, including boogie boards and beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas. We ate almost all our meals at the table and chairs on the balcony, overlooking the beautiful grounds. We had a fabulous time in Maui and hope to return again soon.
Owner response:I am thrilled when I hear everyone loves 403A as much as we do. Last year we got the new sofa couch as my daughter and I thought the mattress was in need of it. We sleep there a lot and fall asleep watching sunset and TV. Waking up to that gorgeous view of the grounds,the ocean and\ Maui is a highlight for us. Of course, we have the darkening drapes in both sleeping areas as I raised 2 kids as teens and there were years when we snuck out as others slept in. We are always up early in Maui. When my daughter was little we snuck out for donuts now I sneak out to Home Depot when the cane fields are quiet and the island is mine, We love comfort so that is why we have several chairs and a comfy table for cards,dinner or an office for the now working children who visit and still must keep in touch with the office. It is so much easier to send an e-mail when you have this view and can sneak down to pool and sauna afterwards. We value each guest and want them to have as much fun and downtime as we do. Everything was just excellent! Condo rooms, bed, shower, appliances, view, grounds, pool, sunsets, parking and location made our stay the best. This was our 3rd trip to Maui and or 6th stay on the islands and have had only one bad experience with our accomidations (Big Island). We will be staying here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Maui Sunset!!! This unit has everything that you need including beach chairs. Either bring your beach towels or purchase a souvenier at the ABC store. Maui Sunset is perfect for evening BBQs and letting the kids run on the vast greens. Gorgeous views out toward the water and up to the mountains. Great pool. Close to a variety of beaches & walking distance to good coffee and the best malasadas (in Azeka place II). We hope to return soon! Mahalo!

My wife and I stayed in this condo for five nights in July 2010. Like others have mentioned, the unit is very clean, well-kept/up to date and with plenty of amenities. Kitchen is well-stocked and is perfect for cooking in or you can also use the BBQs down in the common area. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, shuffleboard and bocce and they even have a putting green! During our stay wireless internet wasn't available but you can get access with a network cable for a small fee. However, Starbucks offers free wireless internet now and were able to get there in about three minutes' drive. We were very pleased with both the unit and the owner and would definitely return!

The unit was clean, and well maintained with lots of upgrades. My favorite place to be was on the beautiful lani with fantastic views and wonderful furniture. The common grounds outshine any on the island. My hope is to be back soon. Mahalo Linda

We stayed here for 10 nights in May 2010 and we were very impressed. When we first walked into the condo we thought it was better than the pictures. Everything was clean and well kept. There were things like boogie boards, towels, bbq utensils and more. We cooked every night and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes. The bed was soft with lots of pillows and the bathrooms came with soap. There was a washer dryer and dishwasher. The building was quiet and we didn't hear any cars from Kihei road. The grounds were immaculate and had grass like a golf course. The ground keepers were outside everyday picking up leaves and making it look nice. The pool was nice and hardly ever busy. The location of the condo was perfect and easy to find. Linda was pleasant and easy to deal with. Thank you to Linda we would stay in this condo again.
