My husband & I have stayed in this condo several times now, as have my parents. There's some condos I wouldn't return to, but this is one we seek out. Owner has everything you need in the kitchen, plenty of sleeping room, nice tables & chairs (inside & out). It's away from the elevator, at the quieter end of the building. Great view of Haleakala one way and partial view of the ocean the other way. We've sat on the lanai and watched whales. What a lovely place to be on Maui. Thank you Linda, for sharing your condo with us.

We have visited Maui many times, but this was our first stay at Maui Sunset. The condo was excellent! The owners have included many extras that we have not found in our previous stays in other condos. The kitchen is very well stocked and it was great having a washer and dryer right in the condo. We also appreciated having beach chairs, boogie boards, and coolers to use for our treks to the beach. This is a very clean and comfortable unit and Linda was so nice to work with. The grounds are so pretty and well maintained. We also liked having the ability to rent paddleboards and book activities at the pool. It was so convenient. It was great to have a putting green, tennis court, and other fun activities to participate in right outside our door. We will definitely be contacting Linda again for our next trip and highly recommend this condo. Thanks for helping us to have such a wonderful time on our vacation.

A Wonderful Two Weeks in Maui

Property 89093 made our two weeks in Maui a pleasure. It was clean and very well kept. The owner was very helpful and promtly answered any question we had. It was especially convenient to have the washer and dryer in the apartment and not just one for a floor. Both washrooms had shower stalls. I would definately consider renting this condo again. One thing we liked about the Maui Sunset was that there was plenty of parking spaces. There were six BBQ units on the grounds so there was never a problem. The pool area was especially nice. For a special dinner in Kihei I would recomend the 5 Palms. The Big Wave is also very good. For a special experience a drive to Hana and to the 7 pools beyond should be considered. If you get car sick don't go. Leave early and pack a lunch. The Io Valley has a very nice hiking trail. If one is a golfer I would recomend the course in Kihei and the one in Pukalani.

This is the third time we've been to this great place. Linda is the consummate hostess and we keep coming back to this well furnished condo. We did a lot of snorkeling and saw a lot of fish and turtles. We really appreciate the beach chairs and the boogie boards which are furnished by the owners. We'll be back again in the future!

We stayed in Linda's condo after emailing many owners at the Maui Sunset. She gave us the best deal for all her place had to offer. Fully stocked condo made us feel right at home and the kids loved the boogie boards and we loved the beach chairs and cooler. We explored many beaches while we were in Maui for boogie boarding, surfing and snorkeling and it was awesome not having to rent anything but a surfboard. We will definitely be back again and have referred Linda and her condo to a few of our friends that are interested in Maui this coming year. Thanks again Linda David, Caroline, Noelle and Sam

Best vacation ever!

This condo was the perfect home base for our Maui adventures. Maui Sunset is a well kept condo complex with immaculate grounds. It has a large pool and borders a small city beach park. The location was convenient to grocery stores and allowed easy access to any part of the island. Unit 403A has everything one might need for an enjoyable vacation, including boogie boards and beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas. We ate almost all our meals at the table and chairs on the balcony, overlooking the beautiful grounds. We had a fabulous time in Maui and hope to return again soon.

Owner response:I am thrilled when I hear everyone loves 403A as much as we do. Last year we got the new sofa couch as my daughter and I thought the mattress was in need of it. We sleep there a lot and fall asleep watching sunset and TV. Waking up to that gorgeous view of the grounds,the ocean and\ Maui is a highlight for us. Of course, we have the darkening drapes in both sleeping areas as I raised 2 kids as teens and there were years when we snuck out as others slept in. We are always up early in Maui. When my daughter was little we snuck out for donuts now I sneak out to Home Depot when the cane fields are quiet and the island is mine, We love comfort so that is why we have several chairs and a comfy table for cards,dinner or an office for the now working children who visit and still must keep in touch with the office. It is so much easier to send an e-mail when you have this view and can sneak down to pool and sauna afterwards. We value each guest and want them to have as much fun and downtime as we do. Everything was just excellent! Condo rooms, bed, shower, appliances, view, grounds, pool, sunsets, parking and location made our stay the best. This was our 3rd trip to Maui and or 6th stay on the islands and have had only one bad experience with our accomidations (Big Island). We will be staying here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Maui Sunset!!! This unit has everything that you need including beach chairs. Either bring your beach towels or purchase a souvenier at the ABC store. Maui Sunset is perfect for evening BBQs and letting the kids run on the vast greens. Gorgeous views out toward the water and up to the mountains. Great pool. Close to a variety of beaches & walking distance to good coffee and the best malasadas (in Azeka place II). We hope to return soon! Mahalo!

My wife and I stayed in this condo for five nights in July 2010. Like others have mentioned, the unit is very clean, well-kept/up to date and with plenty of amenities. Kitchen is well-stocked and is perfect for cooking in or you can also use the BBQs down in the common area. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, shuffleboard and bocce and they even have a putting green! During our stay wireless internet wasn't available but you can get access with a network cable for a small fee. However, Starbucks offers free wireless internet now and were able to get there in about three minutes' drive. We were very pleased with both the unit and the owner and would definitely return!

We stayed here for 10 nights in May 2010 and we were very impressed. When we first walked into the condo we thought it was better than the pictures. Everything was clean and well kept. There were things like boogie boards, towels, bbq utensils and more. We cooked every night and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes. The bed was soft with lots of pillows and the bathrooms came with soap. There was a washer dryer and dishwasher. The building was quiet and we didn't hear any cars from Kihei road. The grounds were immaculate and had grass like a golf course. The ground keepers were outside everyday picking up leaves and making it look nice. The pool was nice and hardly ever busy. The location of the condo was perfect and easy to find. Linda was pleasant and easy to deal with. Thank you to Linda we would stay in this condo again.

Dear Linda and family, Thank you so much for our wonderful accommodations on Maui. Your condo is beautifully decorated, very clean, and stocked with everything we could possibly need including beach chairs and umbrella! We loved the central location to all the island has to offer and the close proximity to stores and restaurants. We enjoyed the great views of sunrises and sunsets from the lanai or a short walk across the beautiful grounds to view the sunsets from ocean's edge. The hot tub was fantastic after a day at the beach or scuba diving. We felt the value for our money could not be matched elsewhere. We would definitely like to stay again on our next trip to Maui. We loved our stay at the Maui Sunset in early June. This condo was beautiful and spotless. It has a great view and incredibly well stocked kitchen. Importantly, the air conditioner worked VERY well! The grounds at the Maui Sunset are perfectly manicured- you almost wonder if the grass is fake, it is so smooth and soft. The pool is large and pristine. We also loved being so close to great little restaurants and gorgeous beaches. The owners went out of their way to give helpful suggestions on places to eat and things to do. Thanks again for helping make our Maui trip memorable!

Like all other comments, I agree that the place is immaculate and very well maintained! Linda is also very easy going and lovely to talk to. My 3-yr old, my mom, and I stayed there from March 31 - April 7, 2008. The place was big for just the 3 of us, but the rate was very good (if not better) when compared to smaller condos. We were so happy with this condo! We ate breakfast every morning on the lanai..so beautiful. The condo is in a great location in Kihei..and actually within Maui Sunset itself! Why? Well, I loved the fact that the afternoon sun does not directly hit the lanai, so the condo never got hot and you are able to enjoy the warm breezes and the view anytime of day. You get a lot of light without being blinded by the sun--loved it! I love that the pool is so close too. The condo is very bright and inviting. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, baking items, rice cooker..everything :) I know I will book here again on our next trip.

Stayed here for a week, end of November, 07, and enjoyed it very much! Lovely lanai, to enjoy the ocean view, or the cool breezes. Comfortable, quiet, spacious accommendations. Many great restaurants are very close by, both expensive, and very reasonable. Best location on Maui! Can't wait til I am able to return to this lovely place.

This was my second experience of renting a condo on internet and I must say that I was not disappointed at all with the condo of Linda and her family. It is a lovely place really well decorated and immaculate. The kitchen is VERY well equipped and with lovely new counters. The view was really good and we have enjoyed every nights the sunsets.It is definitely a great condo to rent. We love our stay in Maui at this Maui Sunset condo from May 28 to June 04, 2006. My wife loves that the unit was extremely clean and very nicely decorated. The ocean view from the lanai was truly beautiful. The unit has a well-stocked full kitchen so we prepared our own breakfast everyday and enjoyed the meal on the lanai, watching the beautiful scenery while we ate. Linda, the owner, is extremely nice. I just returned from staying a week at this condo. The condo was in immaculate condition with plenty of ammenities. It was perfect and the price was unbeatable. The owner was very friendly and very accomodating. I will make this my new home away from home.
