  This is a fantastic unit, worked out perfectly for our family of 4! We have stayed at several units at Kamaole Sands in the past and this unit is our favorite. It's in a perfect location, close to the pools and BBQ pits. The condo is well stocked and immaculate. The renovations are beautiful! The owners are fantastic people to deal with as well, very accomodating and friendly! As for the property itself it too is always kept in pristine form. The grounds are amazing, so lush and green. It is a short walk to Kamaole III beach where you can do bogey boarding and offers great snorkelling off of the lava rock. We saw numerous turtles this last visit, a monk seal was even spotted one morning. The complex is walking distance to many amenities, restaurants, shopping, the ice cream shop which was a fave with our kids! We hope to return to Maui this fall and will definitely stay in this condo again!

  The rental unit was perfect for our family. My kids (ages 14 and 12) absolutely loved the complext and the ease of being able to walk to the beach. I appreciated the upgraded kitchen that was well equipped with plenty of dishes, pots and pans and many utensils. We were able to eat 2 meals per day in the condo so we reduce our eating out expenses. The unit was also very quiet. I would highly recommend renting this unit.

  Fantastic condo - very well equiped, very clean, modern and spotless. Great location close to the pool and not far to the beaches. Photos accuratately describe the condo. Grounds and pool were always clean and tidy. Mai Tai party great way to meet fellow guests and have a good time. Fred's/Moose's restaurant not far away - great breakfasts, lunches and dinners - reasonable prices. Fourth year staying at Kamaole Sands - will be back next year.

  It's important to walk into your vacation rental and feel that you chose well. The condo was updated and very nice. We only ate two meals out so it was nice to have such a fully stocked kitchen! The location of the condo was great since we could look over at the pool and walk to it in minutes. We enjoyed having the beach towels for use as well as the chairs, umbrellas and even some snorkle gear and boogie boards. Having coolers was excellent too. The condo was very comfortable. We appreciated having two nice sized televisions in the condo so in the evenings right before bed we could take in some of our own shows (my husband sports and me a sitcom). However, that wasn't a priority for us but a nice perk. The extra long ethernet cord was great so I could manuever the laptop where I needed it. The pool and grounds are incredible and the twice daily birds serenade made it hard to leave in the morning or miss it in the evening. It is paradise. We highly recommend this condo. The owners were very responsive to anything we needed.

  This was our first time booking through vrbo.com! This place exceeded our expectations. We were especially pleased to find beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrellas for our use. The condo was clean, well decorated, quiet, and was just a perfect place for the two of us. The owners were very good to talk to over the phone as well.

  We loved this unit! The bed is comfortable, the kitchen extremely well stocked with all the tools, pots, pans, even tupperware. Likewise we enjoyed the use of cooler, beach chairs, towels etc. This back building is very quiet. The place was recently painted and in tip top shape.

  Owner response: Every time we, as owners, come to Maui, we make sure our condo is in excellent condition, and we make sure the condo is well stocked for our guests enjoyment. We want our guests to be comfortable and relaxed in our condo, and enjoy Maui as much as we do. We chose building 5 because of its quiet location in the Kamaole Sands complex and it is great to hear that our guests feel the same way.

  Our family (2 kids 12 and 14 years old) stayed for one week in this condominium. It is one of the most tastefully furnished flats we have ever rented all over the world. It has everything provided someone needs for a great holiday. Kamaole Sands is a good place for making excursions all over the island. A big advantage is also the beach just a few minutes walk away. We loved this place and we surely like to come back.

  Owner response: Kamaole Sands is a place for everyone - newlyweds, couples, families, retirees or single people. If you like to walk a short distance, no car is necessary to get to the beach, shopping or dining. We counted the steps - the beach is only 444 steps away from our condo. We are happy to say we had a guest from Greece choose to stay in our condo.

  We had a wonderful stay at Kameole Sands unit 5-202. The condo was well taken care of and the whole complex itself was nice and quiet. I would definitely recommend anyone who's going to Maui to stay at this condo.
