NOW AVAILABLE FOR WINTER 2012 ! One of the absolute best views in Palmetto Dunes!! Sit on one of the lounge chairs on our deck and view the canoes and kayaks on the beautiful 11-mile lagoon (20 steps away) and the second green of the world-famous Robert Trent Jones golf course. The Palmetto Dunes Resort is a vacationer's paradise with three golf courses, twelve tennis courts, plus five swimming pools in Queen's Grant alone.
The villa includes access to the beautiful Palmetto Dunes beaches just a ten-minute walk or five-minute bike ride away -- or you can take the free Palmetto Dunes Buggy to the beach or to nearby shopping, March through September.
The deck area is beautifully landscaped and gives excellent privacy while maintaining a wonderful view of the lagoon and golf course. The villa contains almost 2000 square feet of well-appointed furnishings and amenities. The fully-equipped kitchen was completely renovated in 2010 and is open to the dining area and large living room that overlooks the lagoon and golf course. New oversized sliding doors were just installed onto the deck.
The large master bedroom downstairs has a king-size bed and new sliding doors opening to the deck. The master bath has been completely re-done in granite and includes a whirlpool tub. A half-bath for guests is off the downstairs hallway. The master bedroom, living room, and upstairs bedrooms all have paddle fans.
The two-story entrance foyer opens to two upstairs bedrooms that are connected by a newly-renovated bathroom. Each upstairs bedroom has two single beds, and the upstairs has a separate air conditioning system. Plenty of closet space in all the bedrooms. The living room and all bedrooms have TV's.
Vacationer's amenities include an outside shower, beach chairs and mats and nearby availability of bicycle and kayak rental.

- Shelter Cove, with its many shops and restaurants, is a short walk or bicycle ride away, and one of the Queens Grant pools is just one minute from your door. Summertime, take the free shuttle to the Palmetto Dunes beaches, or to Shelter Cove for restaurants and shopping. There is easy bicycle access to Shelter Cove via a bicycle underpass along the water under Wm Hilton Parkway. Bicycle rental firms offer drop-off at our villa. Why the Owner Chose Queen's Grant
We purchased this villa in 2006 and spend our winters there. We chose this villa because of the location -- short walk to the Palmetto Dunes beach and the beach house, on the 11-mile lagoon, and on the second green of the Robert Trent Jones golf course. Since we spend 4 - 5 months a year at the villa, we have renovated it extensively -- it is our winter home that we rent-out, not a unit that we bought as a rental property.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Time on the deck is delightful -- we can watch golfers attempt to get their shots across the lagoon, see them at the green when they finally make it, and watch the kayaks and electric-powered boats travel the lagoon just 20 feet from the deck. We can walk to the beach in ten or fifteen minutes, or bicycle there in five minutes. Palmetto Dunes has a nice beach house where we can get a hamburger or full meal, and eat at the tables on the deck, right on the beach. The R.T. Jones driving range is a 5 minute walk away. Palmetto Dunes and the surrounding areas are ideal for bicycling -- there are bicycle paths along the roads where children and adults can bicycle safely.

When we say our home away from home, we truly mean it. We have stayed here at least four years now. Each time we go we see first rate improvements to a great villa. The pictures in the listing are exactly what you will see when you arrive. Jay and Muffy (owners) are wonderful to work with and answer ALL your questions. This is a first rate Condo in a Great Location in Queens Grant. I love the big screen HD TV and high speed internet. My wife loves to sit on deck and read or just look out over the lagoon. Kids love short distance to pool and having TV in their own rooms.The Palmetto Dunes location is centrally located making all parts of the island quickly accessible. To sum it up, from this condo you can easily do everything there is to do while at Hilton Head, or you can just sit back and relax and slow down for a while and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings. That is why we keep coming back year after year. We truly are made to feel quite at home while staying here!!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children.
