The house features three spacious bedrooms, three bathrooms, and an expansive, open plan living/dining/kitchen area. There are two wood-burning fireplaces with firewood, skylights, stain-glass windows, hard wood floors, HOT TUB, large wrap-around deck to watch the sunsets while you BBQ dinner, washer/dryer, fully-equipped deluxe country kitchen with stainless steel appliances, three TVs with full cable, VCR, DVD,CD/stereo and Wireless Internet. The glow of candles enhance every room.
The house sleeps ten people comfortably with a king-size bed in the upper master with en suite bathroom and sliding doors to the oceanfront deck. There is a queen-size bed and a double-size sofa bed in the lower-level spacious master bedroom with rock fireplace and large bay window with skylights. Twin beds are in the third bedroom with a sliding door to a private patio area. A double-size, pull-out couch is available in the living room in front of the large, river-rock fireplace.
Just put your feet up and soothe your soul in this comfortable, spacious home, and unwind to the sound and vision of the surf while the fireplace crackles and you leaf through the many reference books available for your leisure. Walk to the Wickininish Inn for fine dining or a massage, explore the sea caves full of sea life at low tide, cycle to Tofino along the village bike trail, visit the botanical gardens, museums, hike the many scenic trails and rain forests, visit the hot springs, view the wildlife or go on a variety of whale-watching expeditions. There is so much to see and do!

Our 2-week stay at "Seascape" can only be described as a visit to paradise (sorry for the cliche). Located in the center of North Chesterman Beach, you may try a morning beach walk first to the "Wick" cafe for a latte, then back to Frank Island and onwards to South Chesterman Beach (dozens of surfers trying the constant breaking waves) and back to the house. If you are inclined to a lazier day, just watching and listening to the ocean from the porch or the many windows including the upper level "crow's nest" would fit your bill. The house itself is spacious and comfortable with all conveniences (well, you don't have to turn on the cable TV or surf the net). It is interesting that the living spaces and master bedroom are lifted up to the second floor (for those drop dead sunset views of course). Nearby Tofino is of course a world class destination in itself. Salmon fishing charters (best fishing anywhere), sea kayaking, hiking the big tree trail (2000 year old cedars, yes two thousand) are all readily available.

We have been coming to Tofino Seascape for many years and both the home and location are perfect for recharging and relaxing. The home has everything one could ask for in midwinter with it's two fireplaces, hot tub and full ocean view. Perfect for storm watching or star gazing. The beach is lovely for long walks of watching the surfers (or surfing). Great restaurants in the area. We have never lacked for any amenities at Tofino Seascape and would highly recommend it.

This will be our third year staying here and you could not get a better rental vacation home. The views are magnificent; imagine waking up to the sound of the waves crashing on the beach. Location: steps away from the beach (no need to say more) but yet very private. The house is fully equipped with everything you would need for your stay including beach chairs and surf boards. All you need to do is show up and relax.
