We know that choosing the perfect place to stay on vacation is tough, and we have encountered many disappointments over the years, but not this time! Our stay in this property on Maybank Loop was rewarding in many ways. The Villages is an excellent place to visit if you want to be active and included in any and all activities. The unit we rented is in excellent condition, pleasantly decorated, clean, and supplied with one's every need, including televisions in every room! However, given the opportunities in The Villages, you will find yourself "out and about" with little time for television. The location is excellent, with easy access to grocery stores, restaurants, entertainment and shopping. If you find anything you need or questions to be answered, you have ready access to the owner. We would recommend this property to anyone we trusted to take care of it appropriately.

Recommended for:

The unit we rented on Maybank Loop was well above average both in supplies provided and cleanliness.

Excellent in every way. This unit is conveniently located, well supplied and clean. The owner was always available should one need to ask questions, etc. The Villages development is unlike that we have ever seen. The communication stream regarding activities, etc. was excellent; every person we met at the recreation centers was courteous and helpful, and most of them treated us as if they were glad to have us there! We participated in tennis, pickleball, euchre, dominoes and attended several concerts in the Church on the Square, two lectures on medical issues as well as a Dixieland Jazz band rehearsal (which was excellent). Needless to say, we enjoyed our visit to the Villages.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car.

The Village of Caroline

My stay in The Villages was really enhanced with my stay in The Village of Caroline at this VRBO property. The home is maticulously kept and the location is most convenient to the town center. It was truely a home away from home.

We highly recommend this property if you are looking for a wonderful house in an excellent neighborhood with very accommodating owners. The house speaks for itself -- very clean, well-maintained, classy but functional furnishings, and close to restaurants and entertainment. Photos can't capture all the benefits this house and it's location have to offer. Our thanks to the Carnicom's for sharing their beautiful home with us and for helping make our visit a memorable one!

My wife just survived a year and a half of cancer treatment and your home provided the best medicine she's had in years. The home is decorated with such class the web photos don't do it justice. It has everything anyone could possibly need to live there. And having never met the owner personaly by the looks of the home he must be an awesome person. We'll definately be back if its available. Tim,Your home is beautiful - very well kept and appointed. The layout lends itself to a very relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a quiet read on the lanai or front patio.The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials which made our stay that much more enjoyable.The location is perfect- five minutes away from Sumpter Landing Square, Sweet Bay, pools and golf. What more could a person ever ask for! We would definitely come back to 805 Maybank Loop ,in a heartbeat, should there be an availability in another year. Thanks again for sharing your home with us.

This was our third and most enjoyable trip to the Villages. The accomodations were great. You have a lovely home and location. I wish it were ours. After staying there for the month of November 2006, we decided to set a timetable to get together to move south. Our current plans are to downsize in Michigan and be able to spend winters in Florida within the next two years.

We loved renting this home!! It has all the amenities that are needed for a comfortable home and is very homey. We have rented numerous times in The Villages and this has been our best experience. FYI - we love The Villages and plan on moving down there next Spring.
