This was our first visit to Grand Cayman and found this to be an island paradise. The condo is in a beautiful complex with nicely manicured landscaping and a beautiful pool area. The unit we rented was right on the water with a nice patio for morning coffee or a glass of wine after dinner. The condo is very close to Georgetown which made it convenient for shopping and visiting downtown restaurants. Although there are condos available all over the island, we were glad we chose 7 mile beach because it is so accessible to most of the activities and restaurants. We found some of the best snorkeling on the island right in front of the condo. The complex and the pool area were both quiet which made it easy to relax. Anyone looking for an island paradise will enjoy Grand Cayman and we definately recommend George Town Vila's.

We got back a week ago from our very first trip to Grand Cayman, and can't say enough good things about the island and the condo! Bart's condo is wonderful--right on the beach and in a great condo building. The grounds are beautifully kept and were never crowded. We loved having the pool in the late afternoon, after snorkeling all day. We feel this is the best condo in the complex because of its ocean front location! The views from the windows and balcony were amazing. Wish I were there right now! The condo is very comfortable and roomy. Very large master bedroom and dining area. The kitchen is cute and fully supplied with dishes, blender, etc. We ate breakfast at the condo every morning, packed a lunch, and ate dinners out. Our boys were glad the condo was stocked with an iPod player and a DVD machine. Also so happy a cell phone is provided with the condo! We used it to make dinner reservations every day. We love to snorkel and snorkeled every day we were there, and have to say the snorkeling right off the condo beach is great! There are amazing coral formations and schools of fish visible immediately upon entering the water. We also loved Cemetery Beach, Smith Cove, Rum Point, and the public beach in Bodden Town. For restaurants we loved XQ's Pizza and the Thai Orchard (both within walking distance of the condo). We also loved Yoshi Sushi, Pappagallos, and The Brasserie. Thanks Bart for a great stay--hope to return someday!

My wife and I stayed in another unit at this property 11 years ago. This time we brought our 5 kids with us. Both times the arrangements were simple and thorough. The location and living space is ideal for those not looking for a hotel experience. Groceries and the amenities of George Town are a short walk away. Snorkelling is right off the beach, with coral all around an old partially submerged wreck just a few hundred yards south (an easy swim in the sea water with little current). The drive up to 7 mile beach or the yacht club is less than 10 minutes. Being near the water was perfect; plenty of breeze so at night we could just leave the A/C off, open the windows and fall asleep listening to the ocean. George Town Villas is just off the main road so although convenient, there is no road noise. The residence was spotless when we checked in, and 100% as promised. We literally moved in for our week stay, and referred to it as "home". That never happens when we stay in hotels. This made for a far more relaxing week, not to mention that the cost saving vs. a hotel and eating out helps one relax. If I could find a place like this everywhere our family travels, I would never hotel again.

This is a great property that is literally right on the beach with beautiful views and a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. It was well maintained with a good floor plan that fit my family of 4 perfectly. Unlike resorts we have used in the past, there were no crowds and we often found ourselves being the only family at the pool or beach. Although the beach area isn't as extensive as other parts of 7 mile beach, the great snorkeling was a good trade-off for us. Although convenient to restaurants, grocery stores and even a scuba shop (within walking distance), we rented a car to explore other parts of the island although there is plenty of other transportation available. We made tons of great memories on this trip and will certainly come back to Bart's place.

My wife and I are frequent visitors to Grand Cayman. We have rented condos in several of the complexes on Seven Mile Beach as well as hotel suites. This trip we stayed for two weeks and were joined by our son, his wife and 2 1/2 year old son for the first week. Bart's condo was very comfortable and well equipped--exactly as described in his listing. This end unit has great views of the Caribbean from every room except for the bathrooms. We especially enjoyed sunsets from the balcony and relaxing on the beach and by the pool. For younger kids, the supply of pool and sand toys is an especially nice and unexpected touch. Although we had a rental car, there is a very nice grocery store, several bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. This unit is definitely one of the best values in Grand Cayman.

We've just returned from a great week on Grand Cayman. We loved this condo. Located at the beginning of 7 Mile Beach, we spent a lot of time at the pool, but also walked the beach daily. Downtown is 25 minute walk. Grocery store is 15 minutes. Lots of restaurants close by, but we ended up eating most meals right at the condo. We loved breakfast on the patio while watching the cruise ships arrive each day. Bart's thorough written instructions answered all our questions. What a perfect place! We'll definitely stay again and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing, refreshing place to stay.

We just returned from our trip and had a wonderful time. We were there right before the winter rush so the entire island was relatively quiet. Bart is a very attentive host who obviously cares for his condo and the people who stay there. The unit was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our 10 day stay. This condo is right on the ocean with amazing views from every room. The sound of the waves crashing on the rocks provided the perfect sleeping environment. The grounds are beautiful. It sets back off the main road so traffic noises are minimal. We were within a short walking distance of the grocery store and the bus service took us to points farther. The bus system is quirky but functional. They are actually vans rather than buses and travel up and down Seven Mile Beach as well as to the outer parts of the island. Just allow extra time to get where you want to go – it’s quite common for the driver to detour from the regular route to take someone to their home or other location not on the designated route. The beach is rocky so shoes are a must. There is a walkway across the rocks and a new ladder providing easy access to the water for snorkeling. The cruise ships sail in and out of port almost daily. The sunsets are beautiful. Enjoy!

We just returned from a week in the Caymans. We stayed at the Georgetown Villas, in a wonderful 2nd floor unit right on the beach. It was great to sit on the balcony, watch the water, the pool, and the landscaped courtyard. It is close to nearly everything and we walked into town for the street party on Saturday night of Pirates week. If we decide to go back to the Caymans, we will probably stay here again. Thanks Bart!

What a nice unit in a lovely complex, great location, beautiful island! We had everything we needed and were close enough to several restaurants to walk, however, I do suggest a car just because it was fun to get out and explore the island! And it was a little hot for a long walk ( we visited in August). Snorkeling right from the beach - we saw lots of colorful fish and there was even a shipwreck right up the beach to explore! It is definitely a rocky beach, not a sandy easy walk-in entry beach, watch out for lots of urchins ( water shoes a must), but we found it to be lots more interesting this way and if you want you can walk up the beach a ways to a wider sandy stretch. It was never crowded and we were always the only ones at the pool each evening. When we walked up the beach the hotels up there were much more crowded and noisy; I preferred it at George Town Villas. Grand Cayman Island is lovely and you will enjoy coming "home" each night to this very comfortable beach front unit. Ocean view from every room - you could hear the surf and see the cruise ships when in port -- I cried when it was time to leave! Thank you, Bart and family , for letting us use your vacation home!

This was our first family dive trip to the Grand Cayman. We have 13 year old twin daughters and another daughter who is 10. The Condo was perfect for all our needs during our week stay. We enjoyed snorkeling right off the beach, making sandcastles on the beach and lounging by the pool. The condo was equip with everything we needed- even board games to play at night. The grocery store was a nice stroll down the road as well as was the best ice cream on the island. There was no need to rent a car because everything is an easy walk away. We dove with Living the Dream Divers, they were wonderful and extremely sensitive to our needs, having newly certified divers. We also sailed with John Michael on his J22 to Stingray City, Starfish beach and Rum Point- in our opinion, the only way to go. If you ask our girls, this was one of the best vacations ever!

The ocean view from this property was great! Really clean property and grounds. Right in front of the pool is a plus too. It is within walking distance from a great Mexican restaurant and Irish pub. The bus system is amusing but works extremely well compared to taxis. Friendly people in surrounding condos. Safe and quiet beach. Very relaxing place. Had a great time! Visit the Turtle Farm and Seven Mile public beach. Skip the Botanic Gardens and Hell. Rum Point is a great beach as well. About mid trip get a car to drive around the island. If your from US, its an adventure all in itself. I would definitely return to this condo.

We just returned from a week at Bart's beautiful condominium. This property is as advertised. It is literally right on the beach in a very nice complex. It is convenient to both seven mile beach and downtown Georgetown shopping. We did not need a car at all and enjoyed walking to many nearby restaurants and downtown. Why fight for a chair on the beach as we observed at several hotels? If there were five folks on the beach or at the pool at Georgetown Villas, it was a "busy" day. It was one of the most relaxing vacations we have had in sometime. I rate this property an A+ and this will not be our last trip to Bart's condo. Thanks for everything Bart!

We have been back about a week from vacationing on Grand Cayman Island. We stayed at Georgetown Villas. The condo was absolutely great with great views from the corner unit. The whole complex is well maintained. One thing that we find important is whether the beds are comfortable. As it turns out it was more comfortable than our own. Bart provides a phone than you can use and you just add time on it. This was really great to have to arrange for taxis or make reservations. Beach towels are also provided which is great as these would take up a lot of space in luggage. This was our first time to vacation on Grand Cayman and will probably not be the last. It would be hard to find a better condo unit and complex.

This condo was great. It had everything a home would have even a blow dryer and an iron. We cooked there most days on the grill by the pool and in the room. Then went out for dinner a few nights. The other owners that were staying there were very nice and informative. The sunsets were absolutely beautiful! You could snorkel right at the beach and you could walk all the way along seven mile beach. Everything was great. Thanks Bart.

We had a wonderful time at Grand Cayman and Bart’s condo. The condo has almost everything your own home would have. A big plus was the stack of large beach towels on a chair and a local cell phone, which you can use to make calls for taxi, dinner reservations or excursions. The condo had every local magazine that you perhaps forgot to grab at the airport. These publications give you all the information you need to navigate the island. The condo’s proximity to the ocean is excellent, as Bart has indicated. We’ve stayed at several condos on the beach in other locations and this is by far the best. It truly is steps from the ocean. No elevators to ride or lobby to navigate. Walk out your door and onto the beach and into the ocean. The condo is quite, the complex is very well maintained and while we were there for eight days, the most people that we noticed at the pool and on the beach was probably 10-15. We walked north on famous Seven Mile Beach (great access just north of condo, a public path exists just south of Treasure Island on West Bay Road) and were stunned at all the people at the resorts and on the beach. Cruise ships offload at Georgetown and Seven Mile Beach is one of the first places they head to. Get out before 9am and it’s quiet. Anyway, during the day we saw hundreds of beach loungers lined up one by one. We were extremely happy with our choice of and when heading back to CI we will be booking with Bart. Our full deposit was promptly returned.

Bart's condo at Georgetown Villas is right next to the ocean. We loved to watch sunset from the balcony. It is clean and comfortable with necessary utensils and beach toys. Bart also provides a pre-paid cell phone which comes handy when we need to call taxi. The condo grounds and pool are clean and well kept. I was surprised to see a guard on duty at night. The beach is rocky in front of the condo, but we love to snorkel and found some good spots not far from the shore which in my opinion is better than where boat tour took us. You can also walk a few minutes to the wide sandy beach portion of 7MB. There are many good restaurants at GC, we usually took bus ride($2.5 a ride per person) to there and walk back after a big good meal.

We just returned from staying in Bart's Condo in Georgetown Villas. It was absolutely amazing! The condo was spacious and fully equipped. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony after a long day at the beach or pool. There are many great restaurants within walking distance. We really enjoyed having lunch at the Royal Palms, which was just about a 15 minute walk away from the condo on the beach. The beach outside is rocky but does allow for some wonderful snorkeling. We rented gear from the dive shop across the street and really enjoyed using it. Thanks for allowing us to stay at your condo! We hope to return soon :)

My trip was wonderful. The condo was clean and welcoming, it had everything you needed. the location was great too. Close to the beach, for snorkling or swimming. Close to town if you wanted to do a little shopping.Calling ahead and arranging to have groceries stocked worked great since we arrived on a Sunday when the store was closed. Our two teens found the island fun and looked forward to our daily adventures checking out other beaches on the island. Driving took a day to get used to, but worked out find and offered us the opportunity to explore. Already planning on when we can return.

Your condo was everything it was advertised to be and we were extremely pleased. We got to see Grand Cayman, had impeccable weather and received real hospitality from the locals. We're home now, safe and sound. I appreciate that you were able to accommodate us on such short notice and all that you did to make our stay a memorable one. The condo development is relatively new, attractive and well situated in terms of shopping amenities, restaurants, bars and other services. Being on an end unit, we had the best ocean view and enjoyed watching the comings and goings of the Cruise ships on a daily basis. The balcony was a shaded oasis where the warm breeze made it the best spot of all. The unit itself was well designed, clean and well maintained. An ideal spot for an ideal holiday. Thanks again Bart for accommodating us on short notice and your hospitality.

I just returned from a 10 night stay in Georgetown Villa #218. Are travel group consisted of 2 boys 10 and 16 and 2 Adults all Divers (and all still speaking). We loved the condo the pictures on line do not do the place justice. It is very spacious, clean and has everything you need if you want to stay in or want to go out (as there are plenty of places within walking distance). The grounds are beautiful (especially the pool) and you can snorkel a good sized reef right from shore. There is even a dunk tank for cleaning dive gear! Any return visit I would not hesitate to rent this condo again. In addition dealing with the owners was very easy!

WOW! What an amazing vacation for our entire family. We could not have asked for a better location to stay for our first trip to Cayman. We wanted our two children to experience snorkeling for the first time...it was breathtaking. Bart's condo provided everything and more for our 8 day trip. I would fill your suitcases up with food from home since that is the only thing not provided in the condo. Bart has a FULLY stocked home which made our vacation that much more enjoyable. For the best snorkeling: Eden Rock (enter by the Eden Rock Dive Shop for free), Rum Point (off the reef in front of the condos to the right of the pier), Macabuca Bar/Grill attached to the Cracked Conch--awesome food AND an amazing entrance to some beautiful snorkeling with great wall drop offs, the Cobalt Coast Dive Resort--they let you snorkel off their peir for free and don't forget to check out the lobsters that live on the right side of the pier under a rock. Our kids (age 11, and 14) loved all four of the above places. For great and inexpensive food: Legends Bar had delicious stir fry bowls with lots of veggies. Sunset House Restuarant provided gorgeous views and a relaxed outdoor eating experience. It's pricy but our kid's split the "Pirate's of the Carribean" meal so they could sample a choice of seafood. Margaritaville had a water slide and pool. Breezes for breakfast on a Sunday morning before 11:30 am. Captain Marvin's Tour was perfect for our Stingray City tour thanks to a former guest's recommendation. Also, definitely schedule your events around the cruise ships--it really makes a difference. Finally, my last tip is to bring Crystal Light (or Walmart brand) "on the go" drink packets for eating out...we drank the water at every meal and saved at least $12 to $15 per meal. Bring them from the states because they cost double at the market in Cayman. Thanks again, Bart, for sharing your beautiful home! Blessings~

I want to thank you for a great vacation in an outstanding condo. The views were the best in the building. Its a very low impact and peaceful place. When I come back to Grand Cayman I only hope we can stay in this condo again. Everything is there. The unit has lots of space and room to spread out. A hotel room is just a bad deal compared to this. I have stayed at a lot of places on Grand Cayman over the years and I have to admit this one was the best. My kids enjoyed it too. Pool and snorkeling outside your room everyday. Thanks again.

Two couches and chair for gathering, a large dining table for meals, a well equipped kitchen and the most beautiful views from many windows and the porch. Everything was very clean and there was even a washing machine and dryer which came in handy. The price was very affordable, especially for Cayman. We loved staying at Bart's condo. We found the place to be perfect with the stuning views off the balconies and the ocean surf splashing into the air. We enjoyed a terrific sunset every night out by the pool and were able to walk or take a bus to anywhere we needed to go. We enjoyed snorkeling right out front of the condo and especially at the Mrriott just down the beach. The grocery store was a short walk away or you can take us bus because they will stop for you anywhere and ask if you need a ride,

We just got back from vacationing in Grand Cayman and stayed at Bart's condo. We found the place to be perfect for us! The location is stunning and the views and balcony are awesome. We enjoyed a terrific sunset every night out by the pool and were able to walk or take a bus to anywhere we needed to go. We enjoyed snorkeling right out front of the condo and especially at Cemetery Beach. I can't wait for my next trip back to Grand Cayman.

The condo is perfectly located on the quiet end of seven mile beach but very close to anyplace you may want to go. Had a wonderful time and look forward to comming back again.

Yes we had a very nice time. After being at Cayman for the past 10 years it is like coming back home. Each year we make new additional friends there. As soon as we formulate our plans for next year I will contact you.

The condo was great -- clean, stocked with all the little things you'd rather not have to bring/buy like dishwashing soap, filters for the coffee maker, etc, and nicely decorated. The view was superb. Our only regret was that so much of the shoreline had been eroded by Hurricane Ivan -- we hadn't been to Grand Cayman in a while and were surprised at the changes.
