Located 45 minutes north of Traverse City, this is a perfect get-away vacation for a family or a couple. Newly furnished in blues and whites, hardwood floors, with a darling white kitchen, this beach house is ideal for a barefoot vacation. The home is situated 200 feet from the Lake Michigan shore on protected Christmas Cove, just five minutes' drive outside of Northport, MI.
There is endless beach walking, beach combing and the waters are ideal for a day sail and a swim. Your day might begin by waking up with the birds, and taking your coffee down to the water, to enjoy a warm breeze. The cottage is so private, you may have the beach all to yourself. As the sun rises in the sky, deciding whether to bask in the sun with a good book or take a swim, may be your most difficult decision of the day.
Lunch and dinner can be al-fresco on the expansive porch, with an amazing sunset as the house faces west with an endless sky and water view. Be prepared for the millions of stars, as they begin to twinkle at night. If you are able to stay awake until the wee hours, the Northern Lights can be seen during a clear night to the north.
Simple amenities have been provided: books, board games, gas grill, welcome basket, suggestions for local not-to-be-missed spots of interest, and most of all peace and quiet. The house is situated directly on the beach, and not on the top of the property with the driveway. It is impossible to even hear a car pull into the driveway!
There are three bedrooms. Two on the main floor with two new twin beds in one room, and a new full sized bed in the other. Both of these share the full size main floor bath. The upstairs bedroom is a large loft with a new queen bed that looks down to the living room below. It has an adjacent bath with a double-head, large shower.

$500 deposit per week will hold your reservation.
Remaining payment due eight weeks prior to your date of arrival.
