Our log lodge on the Yellowstone River - Yellowstone, Montana Lodge We are located on the banks of the Yellowstone River, 10 miles north of Gardiner, Montana--the oldest entrance to Yellowstone Park. Our lodge is 4300 square feet, with seven bedrooms, three full bathrooms, a large dining room, full kitchen, large family room with stone fireplace downstairs and a large living room with stone fireplace upstairs. The master bedroom upstairs also has a stone fireplace. There are two decks, one overlooking the Yellowstone River and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. We have a very large lawn with shade trees also. It is a good place to relax after a busy day of activities. It is a beautiful and convenient location for visiting Yellowstone Park and the surrounding area. The Park is only 10 minutes away. In addition to seeing Yellowstone, there are many other activities to do and see in the area, such as: horseback riding, hiking, fishing, river rafting, snowmobiling, cross country skiing and hunting. All of these activities are available in the nearby upper Yellowstone Valley. This area is a beautiful place to visit any time of the year. Winters in the Gardiner area are ususally pretty mild. The road through the northern part of Yellowstone to Cooke City is open year-round. This most scenic part of the Park offers unlimited wildlife viewing, particularly of elk, bison and the famous Yellowstone wolves. There is snowmobiling and cross-country skiing in the mountains above Gardiner, Cooke City and in the Park. Downhill skiing is also available nearby at Bridger Bowl and Big Sky. We built the lodge ourselves with hand-hewn logs, cut and pulled out with our team of Clydesdale horses from the mountains within site of here. The stones for the fireplaces were picked from nearby fields. The lodge is also available during hunting season. There is a corral where horses can be kept and many trailheads in the vicinity that offer good elk hunting on the National Forests of the Gardiner area. Attention R.V. users, with record high gas prices this summer, consider renting our lodge and touring the area in a small, economical vehicle, either rented or your own. If the dates you are looking for are not available, feel free to contact us about our second log lodge that is under construction and will be available for summer 2007. In the same great area, it is slightly smaller with five bedrooms. It is also sits on the banks of the Yellowstone River.

$2500/week, $350/extra night. + 7% Montana bed tax.
$400/night if stay is less than one week.
* Payment Accepted via: Personal Checks, Traveller's Checks, cash, VISA, MC.
* 50% deposit required to confirm reservation; balance due upon arrival.
* Reservations made less than 30 days in advance require full payment.
* Deposits are transferable, but not refundable.
* $300 Refundable Security Deposit is required at booking.
* Refunded 14 days after leaving if no damage or excessive cleaning required.
