Crystal Cove is located on the Main Fork of the Kaweah River in the heart of Three Rivers, California at the entrance to Sequoia National Park, just three hours from Los Angeles. Our riverfront studio is perched on the river's edge offering spectacular views from the studio and lounging deck overlooking the river.
Can you imagine falling to sleep to the sounds of the river? It is almost mesmerizing. A walking bridge across an inland waterway leads to a private island with waterfalls on both sides. The view takes your breath away. It is a perfect spot for a romantic weekend getaway. The water is warm from the end of June through October for swimming. The island is a perfect place to read, lounge and dine in a special place and be lulled by the sounds of the river. Many visitors come here to see the Park and never leave Crystal Cove.
Call us for our personal website which has a video and some reviews before you book anywhere else. We feel we have the classiest most beautiful location in Three Rivers.
The property has a propane BBQ, a fire pit with a good supply of firewood (in season), DVD player; sorry, no TV (just the sound of the waterfalls).
This is one of the most upscale lodging opportunities for anyone visiting Sequoia National Park. This is a romantic retreat, suitable for two adults only (sorry no children).

My husband and I stayed a full blissful week at crystal cove. I think that this place has a magical quality, we have never been more relaxed. The studio is perfect! If you are looking for a unique place to getaway, reconnect, find yourself, gain perspective or just relax this is the place! During our stay we mostly floated in inner tubes on the river while we read. We did visit the park one day but couldn't wait to get home to our own paradise. We will defiantly be back.

My first journey to Crystal Cove was a stunning shock to me. This is a unique place where you can sit on your private, secluded island, steps from your front door, and watch the endless Kaweah River waters rush past you. The snow from the Sierras was melting and the river roared. We imbibed and lingered on the Adirondack chairs positioned on the river’s edge and whiled away the afternoon watching swallows, American dippers (not people, but birds!), scrub jays, a merganser (type of duck), and the absolutely adorable California quail with their young in a long line following behind. I painted with my watercolors. The drive to Sequoia was punctuated with many stops to view the river as the road wound higher and higher. The Sequoias were monumentally beautiful, but all the while I was secretly anxious to get back to the cabin at Crystal Cove and enjoy that memorable river! And we saw, just yards from the carport at Crystal Cove, a buck and a doe at the roadside. Enchanting! The owners are dedicated to your having a wonderful time and are very nice and accommodating. The cabin is cozy and well stocked with movies and some CDs and is adorably furnished. Lots of floor-to-ceiling windows so that you cannot miss the sunlight lighting the beautiful tangle of foliage and hydrangea. And then, come twilight, the Persian blue and soft mauve light through the huge oak trees is reminiscent of a Maxfield Parish painting. You are sure to fall in love with this place.

I have to admit, I'm a little hesitant to write a review on Crystal Cove for fear it won't be available for our next trip!! This is absolutely the most magnificent place you will ever find. It's like something out of a fairytale, and you really have to see it to believe it. It's like nature's all-inclusive resort. We loved sitting on the private island enjoying a cup of coffee, swimming in the limitless swimming holes, hiking in the national park with the enormous sequoias, dining at the delicious restaurants, and horseback riding in the hills. The list just goes on and on. There are so many things to do and see here, and I'm sure you could spend a lifetime here, and never get enough. The owners are so nice, and we're so grateful that they opened their piece of heaven up of others to enjoy. We cannot wait to return to Crystal Cove, and I highly recommend their property!
