The perfect Cape Cod vacation setting! Our warm and inviting cottage, comfortably nestled amongst the pines, directly overlooks Schoolhouse Pond, a wonderful freshwater pond where you can enjoy many popular, non-motorized water activities.
The cottage interior features a beautifully renovated, full kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen update includes new cabinetry, appliances, countertops, and floors. Filled with native knotty pine wood, the cottage has two spacious bedrooms and a bathroom w/shower. Bedrooms include one with one Queen sized bed, and one with two twin beds. The bathroom refurbishment includes new fixtures, flooring, cabinetry and lighting.
Enjoy relaxed outdoor living in the newly renovated sunroom which has a beautiful vaulted ceiling, new windows/doors and gorgeous new floor. Leave the sunroom though the sliders or double french doors, and enjoy some time on the deck overlooking the water. Hot/cold outdoor shower, new gas barbecue grill and outdoor seating are just a few added amenities.
Fish, kayak, canoe or swim in the freshwater pond from our private dock. The National Seashore, Salt Pond Visitor's Center, Coast Guard and Nauset Light Beaches, and biking/hiking trails are just moments away. The Visitor's Center at nearby Salt Pond is the entrance to the National Seashore. From Salt Pond you can canoe or kayak to the outer ocean. The National Seashore area is also filled with biking and hiking trails, and is home to some of Cape Cod's best beaches to include Coast Guard Beach which is about 2 miles away.
Our cottage is centrally located between Provincetown and Hyannis where you can join fishing, sailing and whale watching charters, and enjoy great shopping and restaurants. The winery in Truro, the antique shops and galleries in Wellfleet, and the many shops and restaurants of Orleans and Eastham are just a some of the other nearby attractions.

July 19, 2008 Donna and Larry~ Thank you so much for such a fantastic week at your beautiful cottage! We felt so much at home while staying here. The screened in porch is key….it allowed us to hang out and play games every night….Our favorite Cape Cod restaurant is the Lobster Pot in P~town ~ it was our second time there, and it was just as amazing as I remembered. The beach was great (thanks to the breeze ~ it sure is hot & humid in CC in July!), and we loved being able to be near the water while sitting on the deck as well. Thanks again so much for such a wonderful stay! Your place is a gem.

July 3 ~ 10, 2010 This was our first time in Eastham. We loved it!! We have been coming to Cape Cod for 12 years and we have always wanted to stay on a pond. It was a perfect location for us. We loved First Encounter Beach and especially Coast Guard. The pond was great for just floating around and hours of fishing. Your hone was so comfortable and beautifully decorated, and the outdoor shower was a great extra. Thank-you for sharing your home. We look forward to many more visits!

September 4, 2009 Dear Donna and Larry, “Quaint, comfortable, serene, peaceful, cute” ~ these are the words off the top of my mind as I sit here and reflect on the cottage….This is truly a cozy, comfortable place with a lovely view of the pond. You have done a wonderful job updating and decorating the cottage to make it inviting. Although we have been through the Cape before, this was our first time to truly visit and explore it, and this location was the perfect spot on the best end of the Cape. We returned to P~town, Chatham, discovered the General Store in Brewster (outstanding fudge!) and enjoyed the beaches on both the Bay side (First Encounter Beach) and within the Cape Cod National Seashore with its magnificent bluffs and waves. Thank-you for sharing your home.

Well, we were more than pleasantly surprised by the char and coziness of your cottage. We felt at home immediately, relaxing after a hectic schedule at home. July 4, 2009 We came to Cape Cod this summer in large part to attend classes at the Cape Cod Institute. We fell in love with the Cape and your beautiful cottage. Your home provided a magical and calm place to relax after bike riding, kayaking, a day at the beach or a double feature at the drive-in. It was also our oasis on rainy days (and we had several) to stay in and play games and listen to the raindrops. You have thought of everything to make one feel comfortable ~ down to the music left atop the stereo. My daughter found your hone on the internet and she truly found paradise in Cape Cod. July 26th ~ August 9th, 2008 We have been coming to Cape Cod for about 12 years, and this is the first time we have stayed for 2 weeks. We were concerned that 2 weeks would be a tad too long. WRONG! Had we stayed anywhere else ~ maybe so. This cottage is comfortable. We were able to escape the chaos of the tourists and float on the pond! We have found a home away from home. We hope that we can return here for many years to come. We love the Cape ~ we don’t care for the chaos. Here we have found a great balance. Thank-you, Donna & Larry!
