This just recently totally renovated, upscale, professionally decorated and very well maintained home with hardwood and tile flooring throughout built in 1996 has 3000 square feet of lovely living space and would be the ideal setting for your next family getaway. The inground pool in the backyard with an outdoor shower invites you to take a dip after a long day at the beach. The landscaping is well maintained and the backyard is fenced in. A three-car garage and circular driveway will host all the guests. The property is located in a quiet residential area minutes away by foot from the Grand Pavilion, tennis courts, gym and the new Wild Dunes Village with shops and restaurants in the gated community of Wild Dunes (Isle of Palms, SC), approximately 500ft walking distance to the beach. Two golf courses and a nationally recognized Tennis Center is also close by.
On the first floor this home features a master bedroom suite with a king size bed and sitting area. The bath has a Jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The suite also features a large walk in closet and has direct access to the deck overlooking the swimming pool.
The cathedral ceiling in the living room with the staircase leading to the balcony overlooking the living room and leading to the upstairs, invites the whole family for a get together after an exhausting day at the beach. The wet bar in the living room is nestled in a niche ready to help make some refreshing drinks. A flat screen TV above the fireplace is great for entertaining. The living room opens up to a porch overlooking the swimming pool.
The fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops opens up to a large den with a newly enclosed sunroom on one side and the dining room on the other. A utility room with full-size washer and dryer is off the kitchen. In addition, the main floor features an elegant powder room.
The sunroom is a perfect spot to read a book, enjoy the outdoors and invites you to sit back and leave all your worries behind.
The second floor has a queen size suite bedroom with attached bath. Additionally there are two bedrooms with two twin size beds that share a bath. The loft is overlooking the great room and has beautiful outside views.

My family of 4 and our friend's family of 4 stayed at this house the last week of summer 2011. This house was just as described in the ad and the reviews - absolutely lovely! Our group of eight had more than enough room to spread out and relax in this home. Our 4 children aged 9-13 enjoyed the easy access to the beach and having a pool in the backyard. The Wild Dunes community was such a nice place to let the kids wander on their own to shop at the stores or just explore. Of course, the IOP location is excellent as it is so close to Charleston and many other coastal islands to explore. It's hard to pick the best moments of a vacation, but the surf lessons with Dan Floyd from Oli-Nah was definitely a highlight and something that we would highly recommend for kids and adults alike! Of course there are so many tourist sites around Charleston-area to explore that are all fun in their own way. There are so many great restaurants to name within the IOP, Sullivan's Isl., Mt. Pleasant area ... a few we liked ... The Boathouse at Breach Inlet, Acme Cantina, Morgan Creek Grill, Poe's, Red's Ice House on Shem Creek where we saw so many dolphins, Old Village Post House ... We love coastal South Carolina and IOP and this Beachwood property would be a perfect vacation for anyone!!

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful beach home the first week of May, 2011. The home was more than the pictures describe. The house was well maintained with easy accessibility to the beach and in and out of Wild Dunes. It is also in a very quiet and well groomed neighborhood. All of the amenities that you need are included. We enjoyed golfing and eating at our favorite restaurants in Charleston and Sullivans Island. I will strongly recommend this to our family and friends and hope to stay there again in the future.

Although beautiful in the web photos, this home exceeded our expectations! It was immaculate, professionally decorated, and very spacious. The walk to the beach was enjoyable and short. It felt much more like a true home than a vacation rental. The owner was gracious and accommodating. We plan to go back every year!
