  Our family of four myself, husband, 12 year old daughter and 15 year old son stayed here in August. We had perfect weather. We loved this home. It is decorated with nautical designs and antique boats. The outdoor patio really makes this home special. We ate all our meals on the patio. The master suite is very private and away from the the rest of the home, great ocean view and is very romantic. We were greeted with beautiful flowers and champagne. The house was very clean. We would love to come vacation here again. Perfect location. We spent on day in Santa Barbara touring UCSB and another day we went to Malibu to the beautiful Getty Villa.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

  Once again it was the perfect house for a vacation with two small boys and a dog. We love the house, the beach, the peacefulness. We can not wait to go back again in 2009.

  Great beach, we enjoyed it very much ! The trip to the Islands is worth doing it (we made Anacapa). The house style and decoration makes the stay a very nice souvenir! Thanks from Belgium !

  This is exactly what a beach house should be -- right on the beach, comfortable, clean, well-organized -- with the comforts my teenager loved -- tv, internet, relaxed. Great find!

  We had a nice family vacation with great grandma (90 yrs young) and occasional grandkids. The weather was refreshingly cool compared to our Inland home. The house was well equipped and cared for. We used the patio all the time and even celebrated a birthday. Good location!

  Thank you so much for sharing your beach house with us. We had the most amazing visit. Our 16 mos old son fell in love with the beach during this weekend get away and was so thrilled to be able to eat outside every morning on the patio, and run around on the beach all day. The house is perfect, we felt right at home. We are already planning our next getaway to 'the shack'. Thank you!

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The hospitality and thoughtfulness of the owner was so appreciated. He recently put in all new mattresses for the ulitmate in comfort. We celebrated a 69th birthday, had great beach parties, and are now booking our third stay. This is a great little vacation for locals. We are only 45 minutes away, but it felt like we were in paradise. Thanks again!

  I just wanted to thank you for allowing us to rent your wonderful beach home. This was by far the nicest vacation rental experience we have had. The nautical decor, artwork and antiques were so much fun to enjoy, and what a delight to find two bouquets of flowers and a bottle of champagne! The best part was that you allowed our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel to come with us. I think Baxter had as much fun as the children! He very bravely chased seagulls off the beach that weren't much smaller than him. All in all it was a pretty exciting week for a city dog. Thank you again for a lovely, unique vacation experience. I hope that you will be willing to rent to us again in the future. In fact, if you have any cancellations this summer please let me know. Sincerely, Leah Flores
