  My family rented Tropical Breeze for the week inclusive of Xmas 2012 for a mini family reunion and had an absolutely wonderful VRBO rental experience. The group consisted of seven adults for most of the week but we also had four other family members from the Keys area join us for a couple of family gatherings/dinners - all cooked there onsite and some using the outside grill. More than ample space to accommodate all of us very comfortably in terms of sleeping, lounging, and dinners together. Hot tub was a nice amenity as well. Two full kitchens turned advantageous during the week. We LOVED the creative use of the native coral rock in home/interior construction, and the huge screened porch was super for allowing "the ladies" to enjoy their wine and cheese in comfort in the evenings. A one word descriptor -- spaceous! Adams Cut waterfront environment was perfect for our family in that we are avid fishing/crabbing/shrimping enthusiasts -- and knew that with the right weather conditions there would be opportunity to take part in the winter night-time shrimp and crab runs through this clean-water waterway connecting the Keys backcountry with the oceanside waters. While we were not successful in the shrimping endeavors (couldn't reach out far enoug!), we hit it big in terms of harvesting plenty of blue crabs and small fish to support multiple fresh seafood dinners. It took some doing, but we did all of the above in considerable comfort off of the very large concrete dock facilities. For our group of young at heart adults, this was the perfect spot for our limited quality time in the Keys. Perhaps not a great waterfront for very young children due to the fast currents which run through the cut, but for fisher-persons of middle school age or above, this is an ideal site for waterfront entertainment. The site is perfectly located in Key Largo extremely close to Pennekamp State Park and good access to commercial snorkeling/dive trip operators, some great local restaurants, local shopping for food and standard maintenance "stuff" as well as for souvenirs and gifts. A 30-40 minute drive to Everglades National Park or Biscayne National Park...an hour to downtown Miami...a couple of hours to Key West. Location is excellent for staging those types of "day" trips just in case some in your group feel the need to explore beyond the Key Largo. A last note about the owner -- he was very accommodating during check in/out and a real pleasure to work with. Enjoy!

  Tom was great to work with - he was very responsive and was a great source of local places to visit. His home was spotless and in excellent condition overall. We would certainly rent this home again - it is in a great location and the home is like a mini resort.

  My family and I stood at this luxery house, and we had a blast, we fish right off the dock and crabbing, we cought lots of it also swim of the dok, after a day in the sun we jump into the hot tub, the photo, are exactly as when we arrive, Tom and his wife was great, it was a pleasure for you letting us stay in you home, its wasn far from all the extra attraction, supermarket, and the house was so spacecious, we entertain local family as well who came to visit, Definatly will rent again. Family didnt even whant to leave. I recomend this house to anybody.

  We had 11 of our family members in this house over Christmas and we absolutely loved it..The house was situated so we could all spend time together when we wanted and get away for some personal time also if we desired. The house is in great shape and close to every thing we wanted to do during our stay. We would love to make a return visit to see the house and Tom again!!

  The only reason I cannot give this a full 5 stars, which I want to very much, is simply because of the traffic noise - the pictures do not show that the house is right next to a busy overpass, as well as the idyllic canal leading to the ocean. The traffic noise was not terribly noticeable from inside the house, but outside from the patios, etc it is quite loud. After a few days in our week there we hardly noticed anymore, however, and this honestly was the only drawback in an otherwise incredible stay in this mansion of a place. Great location, too, lots of places within walking/biking distance to eat and drink. Thank you, Tom, for a great holiday!!

  This house is extremely strong. No worries about safety! We enjoyed fishing in the causeway. The house was very clean. Access to washer & dryer a plus! The ceiling fans in the screened-in porch were fabulous! No complaints whatsoever! It's the perfect location. The owner is super cool and very accomodating. We had a great time and highly recommend this house!!!! Thanks Tom!

  My first words out of my mouth were (The pictures don't do this place justice). The house is very nice and way roomier than I thought. I took my wife and her parents along with her two best friends and another close couple and had plenty of room for all. The house is located on a very convenient canal that had easy access to both the Gulf and Atlantic side. We snorkeled on multiple reefs that were within minutes from the house by boat. The large screened in patio and hot tub area made outdoors very comfortable as well. On our last day staying on the property we spent a lot of the time planning our next trip to come back and stay. Overall, a very pleasant stay! Matt

  We (4 adults & 6 kids) had a fabulous time at a tropical Breeze. The modern & luxurious accomidations exceeded all expectations; very spacious. This house is nicer than the pictures show! Huge multi-level decks with great breeze & sunsets. Close to everything by boat or car. The Boat whips kept my boat safe on the huge dock below the jacuzi porch. Super location for boating with fuel & bayside dining choices just around the corner to the North. Turn right out the cut & the Ocean is just 2 miles away. We snorkled at 5 different coral reef sights all within 8 miles of the house by boat. All guests were most impressed with elegance and space in this home.
