Walton to Destin, our 5th floor condo #502 (one floor above us) is in walking distance of gulf front restaurants, The Emerald Coast Convention Center, The Gulfarium and Fishing Pier.
Being a part of a resort like Destin West means having access to more fun. The waves and sand of the Gulf, the large pool, hot tub, kiddy pool are yours to enjoy on the gulfside. The 700 foot Lazy River Pool complete with tubes to float in, with zero entry for the little ones, heated pool with waterfall, and more hot tubs are for your use on the bayside. You are surrounded by fun and beginning March 15th, 2008, we provide free beach service to our guests.

We found the unit to be clean, well organized and equipped with everything we needed and more. The Gulf facing unit with the sound of waves splashing on our private beach below plus views of the Gulf waters, the Pier and the beautiful sugar-white beaches on each side of us made the balconey such a relaxing and enjoyable experience that we almost forgot our beach set up waiting for us each morning! The immediate vicinity provided a variety of food, entertainment and cultural activities and the central location offered quick access to the City of Fort Walton Beach, Destin and the airport. When we did venture out it was nice to return to covered, secure parking on the fifth floor level of the adjacent garage! Truly a comfortable beach front home!

My family and I have been traveling to Okaloosa Island for the last 5 years. We live in Maine, and look forward to getting away in the perfect setting of FWB/Okaloosa Island. When we found this condo we knew we had found our home away from home. The setting is perfect. The views are unbelievable. The furnishing of the condo is splendid and our 2 kids look forward to coming back year after year. We make it a daily habit of getting up to watch the dolphins in the gulf from the balcony. This is truly the best location we have found in our travels. The property is always clean, well maintained, bright and sunny, great amenities, etc. You can not beat it! Check out the Crab Trap at the Boardwalk or Angler's on the Pier for open air dining and very good seafood! You can easily walk the beach from the condo to those restaurants. The owners are very personable and will answer any question before your arrival, or when you are here. I can't say enough great things about this property!

The condo we rented was absolutely beautiful, clean, bright and right on the beach! The wireless internet was very convenient also. We loved our stay and hope it will be available next time we vacation in the gulf coast.

My husband and our two daughters, aged 19 and 24, just had the most wonderful vacation staying at this beautiful condo in Destin. You could not have found a better view of the crystal white beaches and gulf waters. The beach was so accessible and two chairs and umbrella were awaiting us every morning compliments of the condo owners. This was probably one of the most relaxing vacations that we have had in recent memory. We started our day drinking in coffee and the beautiful view from the balcony. We hit the beach early and the girls were able to parasail from just a few yards down from where our chairs were positioned. We would come back to the condo and fix lunch in the kitchen which was furnished will all necessary utensils. We spent the afternoons alternating between the beach and one of several beautiful pools easily accessable to the condo. In the evenings we would go out for a nice dinner at one of many good restaurants in the area and come back and have a moonlit walk on the beach. The girls were pleased that we could get all of their favorite T.V. stations including Bravo TV. The property is well maintained and the condo itself is nicely decorated and comfortably furnished. Everyone who was staying at this property was friendly and respectful. (No noise issues.) We saw absolutely no signs of oil and the weather was great during our stay. Sondra was a delight to work with and our only regret is that we could not stay longer.

This was our first family vacation in 8 years and the first real vacation for our 2 1/2 year old daughter. The condo was everything we had hoped it would be and more. Every detail in the condo was top notch and the view is probably the best on Okaloosa Island! We had two young teen boys and a 2 1/2 year old and the condo and complex had everything we needed to keep them all busy. The boys loved the lazy river and the hot tubs, and spent many hours on the beach. The complex was very clean and inviting. The Gym Facilities are excellent, every machine you could ever want to use, as well as a full assortment of free weights. I used them several times during our stay and it was great. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a great vacation spot without having to have a full itinerary of things to keep you busy, there is plenty to do within walking distance. The wallaces were great to rent from and provided us with a pack and play for our daughter to sleep in. (shes not in a big bed yet) In turn the condo is now equipped with a baby monitor, sand toys for the beach and a cooler to bring to the beach or pools. I could go on and on, but the bottom line on this one is: if you want to have a great relaxing vacation in a top notch condo with a million dollar view, this is the place for you!!
