If you choose our apartment you choose a sunny place with a beautiful garden with perfect views all around the mountains and to the village. Our historic vacation house in the original Tyrolean farmhouse style is quietly located (dead end street). The location offers a beautiful view of the Stubaier Alps from a sunny bench by the house. During the summer, you can start directly in front of the house and go into the mountains without needing to use a car. The apartments are furnished with love and offer exciting atmosphere with modern comforts. During the winter, the ski regions in Stubaital Valley can be reached in a few minutes. The ski resort Schlick 2000 can be reached in only 2 minutes. The water park in Stubai, with its giant slides, sunbathing area, playground, beach volleyball, sauna, the city center and the ski-bus stop can all be reached within minutes on feet.

In the new lovely designed eat-in kitchen, there is a kitchenette with a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine, along with a couch bed (for 2 people). There is a double bed in the bedroom and a Sat-TV. The roomy bathroom is equipped with a shower/ toilet. In the extra entrance area, there is a cloakroom were you can place your skis or hiking equipment here. On request, a bakery in Tyrol can deliver you breakfast rolls, a shop (small bargain store) is found around the corner. 2 restaurants are located about 2 minutes away from the house. There is a parking space for the house and a sunny garden with lawn chairs and a patio for relaxing, sunbathing and eating. 2 mountain bikes and 2 sledges belong to the house - you can use them free of charge. We are looking forward to your visit!

My wife and I, both just turned 50, enjoyed our stay in this peaceful and quiet village. The rooms were basic but clean and tidy, fully catering for all our needs. Carole was an excellent host, checked on our well-being and ensured we had all relevant information to enjoy our stay in the Stubai valley. While the cooker was merely two hotplates we made ample use of the outdoor BBQ. Fulpmes and Schlick2000 chairlift were an easy walk away. We were here for the walking and were never disappointed. 5 star for price and tranquility.

Carole is as said elsewhere a perfect hostess - very welcomimg, yet not intrusive. Most helpful to us and the studio has all you need including to my delight a dishwasher it is also comfortable and quiet. Stubital is a truly lovely valley and if you need more to do there is so much else in easy reach - Carole is of course a mine of local info. The village of Telfes is quiet, so not for those seeking nightlife but everyone we met seemed to be pleasant friendly folk. The local Spar shop has a good selection and fair prices. For a wider selection try the Hofer store near the Autoroute junction ( a bit llke the English Lidl )

Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, sightseeing.

We have used Home and Away a few times now, and this experience was exceptional. Carole is such a nice person and the perfect host. The apartment is immaculate, it is so clean and tidy, just what we like. The house is beautiful and kept to a very high standard. The apartment has everything you need, with a great shower and cooking facilities. The Telfes village is beautiful and quaint perfect for that relaxing holiday. It is easy to get to the Glacier where we had amazing snow conditions or there is a local slope (Schlick 2000). Thank you very much Carole for your hospitality and helping out with the transfers to the Tram.

Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Location conforme à la description, Carole est disponible, très gentille est toujours de bon conseil pour les visites. Nous y sommes allé en 2009 et cet été 2011 et on y retournera.
