If you are looking for lodging and tired of the hotel scene, then look no further. We stayed for 2 nights in one of the condos, and were pleasantly surprised. There is a kitchen, dining room/living area, a patio, and bedrooms upstairs. Very comfortable and clean, and the location was great. One morning we walked through the woods (about 1/2 block) and had a feast at Fosters. We would definitely stay here again.

Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+.

I really enjoyed my experience at Chapel Hill Inntown. The staff were kind and courteous and the condos were held to the highest standard. I would definitely stay in them again!

The house was as described in the listing and the reviews. I made my final decision based on the positive reviews I had read. It was comfortable, clean, spacious enough and in a very quiet, safe area. It was very convenient to Chapel Hill and the airport. It is convenient to lots of shopping centres, some pleasant restaurants and nature trails. The owner was very helpful. We had no problems, but when he saw us he alsways checked. All the appliances worked and the kitchen was well-equipped for 4-5 people. We enjoyed the internet connection and the chipmunk who visited the deck for nuts :-) Definitely recommend it.

Our two-week stay was very pleasant, and Eric proved to be a very reliable and accommodating host. We arrived while he was out of town, but his instructions for finding the place (and the keys) made everything effortless. His attention to detail is qute remarkable. The unit provided everything we needed, and was very centrally located for our needs. We would definitely stay there again.

Great location when visiting niece at UNC for 3 nights, but was very disappointed in the condition of the unit. Not clean, very dusty, spider webs in living room, mold in bathroom. Main disappointment was bedroom carpets....very dirty & showing age (glad I brought slippers)! Cleaning will not help - carpet just needs to be replaced!!! Will not be returning or recommending to family.

Owner response:We regret that this customer was unhappy. We clean our units very well, but occasionally something can be overlooked when cleaning a 1,000 square foot apartment. If this customer had only taken the time to notify us of their concerns upon arrival (which they didn't), we would have gladly sent housekeeping back immediately to correct any issues. There are a couple of very small minor permanent stains on one of the bedroom carpets, but we do not feel that they justify replacing the entire carpet. Please look at our other excellent reviews below for a more accurate picture of our condos!

My husband, toddler daughter and I recently stayed in one of the 2-bedroom apartments at Chapel Hill InnTown and had a great experience. The apartment was clean and equipped with everything we could have possibly needed, from dishwasher soap to salt and pepper. Though we had no issues with anything in the apartment, we frequently saw the owner at the apartment complex so we knew he was available if we would have needed anything. I was attending a conference at UNC, and I enjoyed the 25-30 minute walk to campus each day, though it was nice to know about the frequent bus service with a bus stop just around the corner. We thought the apartment was a great value and perfect for our needs - having a kitchen and separate bedroom for our daughter made our trip so much more enjoyable and relaxing than it would have been if we'd stayed in a hotel. There is a nice, paved walking/bike path just down the street and a small shopping center with restaurants and a grocery store nearby (5 minute walk).

I stayed at Chapel Hill InnTown for two nights during Spring 2011. For its low price, the condo was incredible - with a full kitchen, two bathrooms, two floors, it would be more than enough space for two people. The location was perfect for me, as it was within walking distance of campus and in a beautiful neighborhood. The management was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here, if you want lodging that will make you feel more "at home" than a small hotel room!
