This lovely 4 BR, 3 BR chalet in Maggie Valley Club SLEEPS 10. It is ideal for a large family retreat or for two families traveling together. The home features two separate living areas providing plenty of privacy for larger groups traveling together. It was recently refurnished with new rustic mountain decor and furnishings
Hardwood floors, tongue-and-groove cathedral ceilings, and a stone fireplace in the main living area give a warm, rustic atmosphere to the chalet. New rustic Hickory Cabinets and SS appliances highlight the kithen on the main level and kitchenette in the lower level.
Two large decks with rocking chairs, picnic table, and porch swing overlook the Country Club.
The moderate climate and the elevation changes allow you to snow ski on the mountain and golf in the valley during winter or whitewater raft and swim during the day and enjoy a fire in the fireplace during the cool mountain evenings in the summer.

We had ten people stay at the cabin with several teenagers and a few adults. It was perfect with the lower section partitioned off so the teens could be teens without annoying the adults. We had so much fun, it was great. Enjoyed the price as well as the accommdations. It was close to town and close to the ski area. Some improvements I can recommend. Central heat and air; although we were comfortable the thermostats were a bit confusing. Second, the hot water ran out quite quickly even for a couple of people. By the third shower it was cold.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, pet owners, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children.

This house is beautiful, perfect for a large family with pets and children. We spent our Christmas vacation 2011 and we had a wonderful time. The fireplace was cosy, the seperate apartment in the basement was ideal for giving us private time, the loft was terrific for the children. It snowed one evening which was exactly what we wanted (the grandgirls had never seen snow before and they were estatic! We had our snow but the roads were nice the next day. The owners were great about helping us enjoy our week in the mountains. Many thanks!!!

Our family met at this location (from Virginia, Florida, and the NC coast) once again and had a wonderful time!! Wonderful memories are always made in mountains and most of them at this one location!! We look forward to next year!

My family and I have spent many a vacation in and around Maggie Valley, but I would have to say that Randy's Retreat was the best ever. Not only is the Chalet nice, but the location is perfect for the family vacation!
