This is a beautiful house on a great piece of property. Its two levels are perfect for a family or those who plan to have guests. Full length deck on lakeside of house plus deck off kitchen. There are two fireplaces, a big eat-in kitchen, and beautiful dining room and living room.
Downstairs includes large family room (with fireplace), grand piano, and large bedroom. Canoe and kayak on property for use. Swimming and boating right from the backyard. There is also a fenced-in garden ready to be planted. Raspberries, blueberries and strawberries will be ready to harvest in the summer.
At the end of the street (which is a dead end) there are hiking trails which lead to the Appalachian Trail. A truly beautiful area, this vacation rental can provide you with a relaxing respite from your daily routine.

We had a marvelous weekend, with a truly lovely setting, with perfect views of Lake Oscawana. Our family of fourteen included seven grandchildren had plenty to see and do, The kids loved the large family room downstairs. The best part of the weekend was a visit of five (5) reindeer on the property for over three hours the very first day. A truly special location.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We did a long weekend Friday to Monday and had a spectacular time with beautiful views of the lake. Wonderful and very accomodating owners with a beautiful home. The driveway was promptly plowed and paths cleared before we woke after a snow storm as well. We plan to return soon.

We did a short, spur of the moment stay and were very pleased with the house and with the cooperativeness of the owner. Everything we needed was there and a beautiful lake. Very positive experience.

Lovely house. Well maintained. Great view of the lake. Dead end street makes it very quiet. Except for your personal items, everything you need is there. Lots of stuff for kids. Many, many books. Nearby deli/mini-market very handy! We spent a relaxing week there, and we'll be back.
