Beautiful four-bedroom Lake House on over an acre. Lakefront on Mayo Lake. Large Deck overlooks Lake and sunroom off master suite.

For a peaceful lakefront vacation This is just what you are looking for! Mayo Lake is one of the best-kept secrets on the east coast. It has 85 miles of shoreline. It is very clean, clear and has a deep lake with natural wooded shorelines. It is great for fishing, hunting, swimming, and water-skiing or jetskiing.

Under an hour to Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, NC. Ten minutes to historical downtown Roxboro! Many amenities.

The local lake authority does not allow permanent or temporary docks (for environmental reasons), so we have re-rigged a large pontoon boat as our dock. The 24-foot boat is tied off to the shore and anchored on each end. This has been a great solution to creating an awesome "boat dock" for swimming, sitting, sunning, fishing, and mooring your boat!

  • My family and I had a wonderful relaxing vacation. It was so close to amenities yet seemed so far away from everything. Peaceful, relaxing and comfortable. Very clean well taken care of. Only took us 45 minutes to Chapel Hill for a UNC game too.

  • We stayed at this property and it was just like being away from the world for a week. It was peaceful, relaxing, quite, and a beautiful place to stay. The nice part is Roxboro is close, so that a short drive you can go to a nice dinner or shopping. Beautiful lake views and a really nice time away from the city.
