This home was built with care and so far has been taken care of. There is a ceiling fan in every room (high end, very quiet). You can cool this home off easily by using the fans and opening the sliders (one in each bedroom and one in the dinning room) and windows. There are AC units in the 2 bedrooms, but you don't really have to use them. We only used the bed in the master bedroom. It's very comfortable. The only shower we used was in the family bathroom. This shower has 3 shower heads to choose from. It's big enough for 2 people to easily take a shower at the same time. The master bathroom has a tub with a shower - we didn't use, but looks good, too. My husband & I are both 65. We walked from this home to St. Peter & Paul Mission for church, Waimea Bay for snorkeling and swimming, Shark's Cove for snorkeling, Sunset Beach just for a walk and to Foodland most days for supplies. We rode bikes North on the bike path (just across the street) until it ended just past Sunset Beach. We brought our hiking gear, too. This home is a close drive to good hiking trails. Nestor and Regina are good people to know. We enjoyed talking with them and getting their tips and advice. They don't bother you - hopefully we didn't bother them! Our niece's wedding was at Dillingham Ranch. It was an easy drive to get there. This home is in an ideal location. The outdoor shower (bathroom) is really nice to use after coming from the beach. We didn't use the barbecue area or the hot tub, but they're both big and great looking. The wrap around balcony is a great place to sit and read a good book, or just relax and watch nature or the cars. First of all I've got to say that it wasn't our first trip to Hawaii but definitely one of the most memorable ones. We've been to Oahu twice before but it was the first time that we rented a place privately and away from all these hotel high-rises in tacky and overcrowded Waikiki. Good thing we did! The location made us feel like we were locals. If you fancy the beach, do not bring any beach-related stuff along: they really got it all!! Gina and Nestor were super hospitable right from the beginning of the trip all the way to the end when I asked if it would be OK if we could leave at 1PM and she replied that it would be even alright to leave in the late afternoon. the place is perfect for 2 couples as it has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which are in good condition. Will definitely recommend your rental (already have) to friends and family. We spent 10 great days at your rental and we think back at it all the time. Fabulous unit, lots of space and conveniently located walking distance to Shark's Cove (good snorkeling) and Sunset Beach, home to the famous Bonzai Pipeline surfing championship. Bedrooms were both very comfortable, full kitchen well-stocked, dining area and living area spacious. We enjoyed the wrap around deck, our hosts have thought of everything. There is a wonderful rain shower in the walk-in shower, the unit is tastefully decorated. I wish we had more time to spend there. Would have liked to use the bikes which were available on the bike path that runs along the ocean. I can't say enough about this lovely unit. Our hosts treated us with much Aloha.

There was nothing we needed, except more time. The place was wonderful, it felt like you were coming home every night. If you’ve been to Hawaii before—you’ve heard people refer to the “aloha spirit.” Regina and Nester exude that spirit to each of their guests! Not only were they fantastically accommodating by providing loads of amenities such as grills, coolers, snorkel equipment, beach chairs, beach mats, a rice cooker, a blender, and much more; they [more importantly] provided a vacation rental that was comfortable, affordable, and convenient to all O’ahu has to offer. This place was great. Newly built with all the comforts of home. Close to all the North Shore beaches, close enough to walk, or ride a bike, or if you want to go boring, drive. We spent most of our time at the nearby beaches because that's what you do in Hawaii. Nestor and Regina were great hosts and very respectful of our (your) privacy. We didn't need to call on them for anything regarding problems with the rental. Our only regret was having to leave to go back to work. Mahalo

When we walked out of the airport in Honolulu I thought to myself "what have I done, this is not paradise, this looks just like L.A." Then we drove to the other side of the Island to our rental and it was like a different world altogether! I am so glad that we decided to go with VRBO rather than staying in a hotel or condo in Waikiki!! Nestor and Regina's rental was even better than expected. We felt like honored guests, not just the next rentors on their calander! The rental was impeccably clean and stocked with everything we could possibly need! I will never forget the size or taste of the avacados that came right off of the trees on their property! I am just sorry that we did not take any pictures of them because we were not allowed to bring them home on the plane. A huge MAHALOS to Regina and Nestor! Loved Our Trip

We were 5 sisters/sisters-in-law on a girls’ trip to Hawaii. We decided to choose the North Shore over crowded Waikiki and were so glad we did. We loved staying in this rental and would rent it again if any of us ever get to return. We found Regina and Nestor to be the best hosts! They gave us fresh mangos and avocados and were so kind. The house was very clean, spacious, and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable and the rain-shower bath wonderful. There were lots of towels & beach towels and we took advantage of the beach chairs, the bikes, and the snorkeling gear but never did find time for the hot tub! Shark’s Cove is across the street and a few steps to the left and a swimming beach across the street and a short distance to the right. One of our biggest regrets is that somehow we left without taking photos of our hosts with us! They live on the same property, so are available if you need something, but give you complete privacy. Aloha Nestor, Regina and family, We stayed 2 weeks in this house in August 2011. We were 2 adults and 2 children. We had a good reception with the owners. The house house was clean when we arrived. We had a great time in this house and it was perfect four our family. We enjoy everithing, the beach chair, the umbrella, the mat, the cooler and of course the boogie board for the kids..and the father. Thank you very much Nestor and Regina for the Pinapple, the apple banana and the meet that youve made for us, it was delicious. We also enjoy going to the beach, to do snorkelling and even diving by walk, from the house. Thank you to provide BBQ charcoal grill, i've really enjoy cooking my Ahi and my NY steak, is was delocious. We are very satisfied with our choice and Mahalo. Thank you Regina and Nestor! We had a great time in your rental, kids favorite part was the riding the bikes that you provided for us. You guys were great, anything we need you always had for us from beach towels, snorkel gear and everything else in the home and for the beach. Your insight to all the placed to go and eat were also very helpful. The home you have was perfect for our family of five. Two bedrooms with king size beds and 2 bathrooms were very clean. Kitchen was used by us everyday and saved us a lot of money, also thank you for the Lumpia you made for us. Hope we didn't leave the house too messy for your next guests arriving that day. We will be back!

We loved our stay in Nestor and Regina's rental. The rental has the most comfortable King bed in one room and a super comfortable Cal King bed in the other. We had the the best sleeps we have had in a long while. The ensuite in the main bedroom is amazing with a brilliant shower and two basins. The main bathroom has a rain shower head that has to be experienced to be believed. The kitchen and living room have everthing you need. The location of the rental is perfect, a short stroll to the left to Sharks Cove for the best snorkeling and diving (plenty of people on weekends)and a short walk to a beautiful sandy beach with crystal clear water across the road an down the path. The hospitality provided by Nestor and Regina is unbelievable, when you leave you will regard them as friends. Nothing is too much for them. You must have a BBQ while you stay and get Nestor to light it for you!!!. We would recommend this rental to everybody. We look forward to coming back in the Future. Hello Regina and Nestor, Thanks so much for an absolutely wonderful stay in your beautiful vacation rental! It was more than we expected. Everything was top quality from your dinnerware and dining table to your wonderful beds and showers! It was really nice having the washer and dryer. Your living room area was nice and spacious and we enjoyed all sides of your wrap around deck. It was so nice to view the beautiful courtyard and countryside from your back deck, the beautiful flowers and foliage from your side deck and the front deck was very relaxing and interesting to see the tops of many trees being up so high. You lower BBQ area and covered parking were also very nice features. It was very nice for you to provide us with towels, beach mats and chairs, snorkel gear, etc., and everything we needed to be comfortable at the beach. Your location was perfect for us! Just a short walk to the right and we were at Sunset Beach; and a short walk to the left and we were at Shark's Cove or Waimea Bay in addition to Foodland and other eating places. Your extra outdoor shower area was great when returning from the beach! We even had the opportunity to enjoy your Jacuzzi! You were the perfect Hosts! Thank you for the fresh eggs, pineapple and huge avocado! Your extra accommodations to provide the crib and high chair for the baby were perfect. And, the crib bedding was exceptionally nice too! My son and his wife were very happy that you were able to extend the additional room for them as well, which provided them with added privacy and personal space. You went the extra mile in all areas to ensure our comfort and were always available to help answer any questions. Thank you for all your hospitality. We're glad to have had to opportunity to meet both you and your family and look forward to our new friendship. We will keep in touch and look forward to staying with you again in the future. Best Country Location!!

For all of you looking for a relaxing getaway, this private house offers just that! This house was so welcoming and beautiful, that it made our vacation even better. Even though the house sits on Kam Hwy you won't hear the traffic at night if you like to sleep with the windows open. The beds are really comfy and if you have a baby traveling with you it is most accommadating! My 1 year old got to sleep in the crib and I got a full nights rest. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you would want, and the bbq downstairs is most inviting. The jaccuzi is really nice on a cool night to sit and talk story with your family and friends. The owners are very generous and welcoming and are willing to make your stay as comfortable as they can. The North Shore offers so much to do and the house is in such a great location.....sharks cove is just a short walk, the beach is right across the street, Ted's Bakery right up the road as well as Foodland. We would definetly recommend this house as your next vacation rental. You won't be disappointed at all! Thank you Nestor and Gina! We will never forget you and we look forward to returning!! "Wonderful Vacation Rental" With Great Beaches Right-There From The Rental and Amazing Hosts!!!!!!!!

Our stayed in this wonderful vacation rental was absolutely perfect for my family with two young boys. Upon arrival, the two amazing hosts and owners, Regina and Nestor welcomed us with great "Aloha". We have "Fresh Organic" avocadoes, apple bananas, and white and brown eggs locally grown. Regina and Nestor are just amazing hosts. They showed us the accommodations that their vacation rental has to offer including beach gears, beach towels, beach umbrellas and beach chairs. My kids was surprised when they used the "Jacuzzi" you know why? They really loved it. Now they both told me I have to buy one like that when we go home. Overall all the amenities that you can think are all here. THE LEGENDARY BEACHES ARE JUST RIGHT THERE!!! FROM THE RENTAL...absolutely wonderful. Inside and out of Regina and Nestor's vacation rental are so gorgeous, the location are fantastic. Cruzier bikes in the rental are one of wife and I favorite...going shopping with the bikes with a basket attached are so convenient. My whole family slept very very well...because of the mattresses...it is posturepedic. I'm telling you, my back so relieved and well rested. We also loved the set-up of the barbeque downstairs. Two barbeque grill with charcoal ready for us and we're able to watch our favorite games...there's HD TV, 3D player, stereo system in the barbeque area. My wife was surprised the orchard at the rental. It has different kinds of orchids with any shape, colors and sizes. She would like to have some when we go home. Our stayed in this wonderful vacation rental are so memorable. this will be our place to stay when we come here in Sunset Beach, Northshore from now on. Thank you! Regina and Nestor for allowing us to stayed in your wonderful vacation rental. My family and I appreciate it and we will comeback next-year by November. It's already reserved and I don't have to worry. It always reminds me that these colors are exactly the Hawaiian Paradise. The mattresses on the masterbedroom and the second bedroom are posturepedic; it helps our guest sleep really relaxing and wakes up in the morning well rested. We wanted to make sure that all our guest will have the best sleep when they stay in our rental. Airconditioning are also provided in the masterbedroom and the second bedroom. Your wife said she loves to cook homemade foods with lots of vegetables. She really feel at home in our vacation rental and eagerly to hear to Hawaiian music which you can access these music in the digital cable provided. It is also convenient that washer and dryer are all in our vacation rental. At the backside deck you can see the overlooking Beverly Hills house that they filmed "Blue Hawaii". And this house used to owned by the great "Elvis Presley". Your twin boys mentioned that they can't wait to comeback again next-year and celebrate their birthdays together. And to enjoy the jacuzzi again which I don't blame them because it is so relaxing with all the cascading rainbow jets, three-speed jets massage, headrest, remote control. Outdoor shower is right-next that has rainshower, body massage, handheld and full bath. Looking forward to see you all again and hopefully, Nestor and myself will be able to meet the rest of your family. "Aloha" and "Mahalos" again for such a wonderful guest. After looking at hundreds of VRBO ads; LOOK NO FURTHER. You will not find better hospitality. Regina and Nestor are available to accomodate your request yet not intrusive. You are greeted upon arrival and shown the property, including Nestor's incredible orchard garden which isn't even mentioned in the property description. You are provided fresh eggs and fruit (whatever is ripe), as well as activity gear such as snorkel equip, coolers, beach chairs, towels, bikes, sun screen and more. The property description is accurate. It is quite comfortable and very seperate from the main house. The location couldn't have been better. Just minutes to Haleiwa in one direction and the cultural center in the other. Only about an hour from Honolulu when you take the direct route, but we would recommend you take the long way along the south and east side of the island. The house is directly across from the beaches, where you can snorkel or watch the surfers. The area is safe and in walking distance of a local grocery store. We only wish we had more than the three days.

Our stay on the North Shore could not have been more perfect. This was our first trip to Hawaii with our two small children (2 years old and 6 months old), and Nestor and Regina thought of everything for us. They accommodated our every need and they were always available to answer our questions about where to eat and what beaches to go to. The house was perfect for our family with the two full bedrooms and bathrooms. As well, having a fully equipped kitchen made it easy for us to make all of our meals. Nestor and Regina have a wonderful rental property and they are amazing hosts.

Regina & Nestor have the perfect location on the North Shore for a perfect vacation ! My husband & I had the best time. Part of our morning routine was always making sure we had a "chat" with Regina & Nestor before we headed off to Shark's Cove to go snorkeling.Being able to walk right across the street to go to the beach was the best.....and we always had the beach mostly to ourselves.We had a blast riding the bikes to Waimea....we were hoping to see the pod of spinner dolphins that we were told had been there the day before. Knowing that we had a relaxing,clean, well stocked home to come back to every day was such a delight.Everything one would need and more is provided in this "memorable" home.We loved Regina & Nestor and their warmth, hospitality and generosity. We never ran out of their fresh supply of eggs and avocados.....Nestor & Regina made sure we always had what we needed. We have already reserved our return visit for next year ! Wow! Where to begin? First, a big mahalo nui to Regina and Nestor. What amazing hosts you are! You made us feel at home right from the start. From the fresh eggs to the wonderful butter pear (avocado) from your tree (which was the first I had ever eaten) to talking stories with you...you are a big reason why our vacation was so wonderful. The rental house is amazing, clean, and full of everything you could ever need. Having Foodland and the beach within walking distance and then Ted's within biking distance (on your cruisers none the less) was just an added bonus. Great house on North Shore! This house was clean and equipped with everything you could need. The beds were extremely comfortable!! Regina and Nestor were very hospitable and knowledgeable about the services in the area.....from surfing to great food! Hot weather made for warm accomodations...but the air conditioners kept the bedrooms cool. Waimea Beach had great snorkeling and we even swam with turtles!!! Just returned from our 12 night stay at Nestor and Regina's home. The house is so comfortable and when they say the beds are the best, they are right!!! Nestor and Regina greeted us upon arrival, helped with our luggage and gave us the low down on the house and area. Also waiting for us were the famous eggs (so yummy) and fresh fruit (also very yummy)! The fan in the master bedroom lost it's speed the first night and when we told Nestor we had a brand new fan installed the same day!! Talk about excellent care!! We took all recommendations to eat at Ted's Bakery and the garlic shrimp is excellent, each time we had it!!! Snorkeling at Shark's Cove was excellent and our favorite beach was Three Tables. Calm and warm water, just perfect!!! Mahalo Nestor and Regina!!

Nice ,big house,very well provided and organized.You feel respected,Regina and Nestor thought about every thing you would need,and more!Very discret, but available.Well situated, the beaches across the street,5 walking minutes to the grocery store,and other services.Quiet neighbourhood,you feel safe.The weather was good with us,few minutes of rain early morning,happened 2 -3 times.The rooms have air conditioning,nice draft in the evening with the windows opened,for the rest of the house.Plumbing working very well!Jaccuzi clean,ceiling fans in each room,Wifi computer in place.3 TVs.Big living room opened with kitchen and dining room.Well built and the locks work.And yes we want to go back,soon i hope.Telling good people about the place.Again ,comfort and respect,thank you Regina and Nestor!

My family and I spent our wonderful summer in this very amazing vacation rental. The owners, Regina and Nestor are very nice people. We we're surprised that they have "Fresh Organic" locally grown apple bananas, avocadoes, white and brown eggs for us in the rental. Their vacation rental are well-equipped, means that the kitchen are well-stocked, very organized, so clean, and beautiful inside and outside of Regina and Nestor's vacation rental. Everything you needed for your wonderful vacation are all in this vacation rental. My family slept very well. Beds in the masterbedroom and in the second bedroom are very comfortable, memory mattress, and high-quality. The masterbath has a complete bathtub, porcelain tiles, hunter ceiling fan with remote, two lavatory ( men and ladies lavatory with granite green countertop ), and full bath. The family bath has rainshower, handheld shower, pedestal, porcelain tiles and hunter ceiling fan with remote. We also enjoyed the "Outdoor Shower" downstairs especially after we came from the beaches which is just right there from the vacation rental. My in-laws really enjoyed the "jacuzzi" that has three speed jets massage, headrest, cascading rainbow jets, floating remote control. So relaxing and you'll be able to forget all your discomfort while you using the jacuzzi. All amenities that was mentioned are all here! and so much more. It such an honor to that we found this vacation rental again and again when we come to Sunset Beach, Northshore. I would like to include that in the livingroom, they have the surround system, 26" Sony Bravia HD TV, HD player, and cable. High-speed internet are also in the rental. My family and I are so grateful and would like to thank Regina and Nestor for giving the opportunity to enjoy their vacation rental. It is not only a beautiful one whole house but it is very affordable, so comfortable, and "Five Star" Vacation Rental. When we just arrived; we we're able to park our two cars very easily because it is a double carport garage, safe and very convenient. The two bedrooms has fully air-conditioning and you can sleep more easily and so quiet. You feel relax when morning comes because as I mentioned the masterbedroom and the secondbedroom has exceptionale mattresses. In the kitchen you can be surprised that they also provide rice cooker, blender, coffee grinder, microwave, toaster and so much more. Regina and Nestor see you next summer. I'd already booked it for our next year vacation.

A great place to stay away from Waikiki. Nestor & Regina were outstanding guests and were there to answer any questions we had during our stay. The farm fresh eggs and bananas were a nice treat upon our arrival. This well kept and clean rental is a great place for a family to spend a relaxing vacation. We recommend eating the Garlic Shrimp at Ted's Bakery which is just a couple miles north of the rental on the east side of the road. Thanks again for making our stay a pleasurable one!

Regina and Nestor also shared their "FRESH Organic" locally grown white and brown eggs, avocadoes, apple bananas, pineapples upon arrival. Their vacation rental are absolutely perfect. the masterbedroom with mastebath attached ( bathtub complete ), and the family bath has rainshower, handheld shower with theraphy massage, porcelain tiles and ceiling fan that inviting you for a healthy and perfect shower every single day. The mattresses are exceptionale quality, posturepedic beauty rest for good sleep that makes you feel healthy, wealthy and wise. Booked to Regina and Nestor's vacation rental. You can't go wrong. The BEACHES, Sharkscove are Right-There! and you have your own beach privately. They also provide cruzier bikes with shopping basket for your groceries when you go shopping at Foodland. If you have a child wanted to come and enjoy the bicycle rides...Regina and Nestor has 2 bicycle seats for your child with a helmets. I would like to mentioned also that we enjoyed the "JACUZZI" that relaxed me after a whole day on the beach which we do everyday. The barbeque area are so convinient. There are 2 barbeque grill waiting for you with charcoal ready. My wife and I enjoyed the barbequed while watching games downstairs. You can't miss your favorite games because there's HD TV, cable, HD player for you to used at downstairs. Rain or shine you can still make barbeque and have so much fun. More to mentioned is the fantastic "OUTDOOR Shower" right-next to the jacuzzi. this has rainshower, body shower massage, handheld shower and full bath. Don't forget the amazing "ORCHARD" that has different kinds of orchids with the different colors right-next to the outdoor shower. These orchirds has any shapes and sizes that makes you wonder about nature. This vacation rental is...THE "BEST" I'm looking forward for our next vacation next-year because I'd already booked it to Regina and Nestor. This time I'll bring my brother, and my mom. Mahalo Regina and Nestor, we've just returned home from the BEST vacation we have ever experienced. You made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The eggs and fruit you provided on the day of our arrival were wonderful. (You have hooked my son-in-law on the apple-bananas that you grow.) Your home projects a feeling of safety, relaxation, and tranquility from the moment you walk through the door. We strolled across the street to the beautiful uncrowded beaches, finding sea glass, and swimming with turtles and fish in the pristine water. It was amazing how far into the ocean we could see. We spent many evenings on your beach watching sunsets. Your home was convenient to everything we chose to do from Hanauma bay, to Pearl Harbor, to Diamond Head crater, to Waimea Bay, to Kualoa ranch,and everywhere in between. We walked down to Shark's cove for snorkeling and saw eels among the other fish and sea life. We sat on the beach while turles came up from the ocean to sun bathe beside us. You made this vacation so easy by providing bikes, beach and snorkeling equipment, and every other possible amenity we could imagine. Our snow cones can't hold a candle to your shave ice. They are fantastic! Ted's bakery and Haleiwa Joe's were great places to eat. Mahalo for all your kindness and Aloha, we truly enjoyed your wonderful home, and hope to return one day. perfect home away from home

We spent the first week of May in this clean and well maintained home. The beds are so comfortable. Regina was so easy to work with. Everything went so smoothly. We were greeted with fresh farm eggs and fruit. We spent many evenings on the front porch. We especially liked the sink on the porch to wash out swim suits and gear. The house had everything we needed especially in the kitchen. We loved the bikes with baskets which we used often. We just filled the baskets with our beach gear and within minutes were at Shark's Cove. This is a top place to snorkel. Don't go in unless it is calm. Also, it isn't the easiest place to get into to but well worth it. We snorkeled with turtles and even a seal. Don't hesitate in renting this home on the second level. You will need to climb stairs to get to it. They were adding an additional third bed room with bath on the lower level. which would be good for teenagers or adults but not for small children since it is not attached to the rental unit. Do not hesitate renting this unit. The owners, Regina and Nester, are great people and provide a lovely rental.

We had such a wonderful time on the north shore and the house and hosts had a lot to do with it. After reading about this house in VRBO we changed our vacation plans in order to stay at this house. If you're looking for a great place to stay on the North Shore, look no further and book this house now!!!! Regina & Nestor are the most wonderful hosts. They are available for any question you may have or to help find anything you may need. The recommentaion of Fumi's shrimp truck was top notch. Thanks Nestor!! This home is beautiful, well kept and in the best of places; right across the street from great swimming and snorkling and some super shrimp and shave ice. Regina & Nestor, please accept our thanks for helping us to have the best vacation ever!!!!!

Uncle Nestor and Aunt Regina's vacation rental is No ka'oi(the best) . Our Family had such a great time in Oahu and it would not have been if it was not for them, they gave us such great hospitality. If you want to experience the Aloha spirit I would suggest staying here. Mahalo nui Loa Uncle Nestor and Aunt Regina I really hope we can come back, you were great, the food and fruit was ONO, Next time we will stay for 2 weeks. :) Aloha!

Aloha, Our stay on the North Shore was wonderful. Regina and Nestor were the perfect host and hostess and made the "rental house" a "rental home." The home is furnished beautifully and is completely stocked with everything and anything to make your stay at the North Shore perfect (bedding, linens, towels, pots and pans, kitchen gadgets and brochures for island information). They have also included all the beach neccesities you might need as well. There was fresh fruit and fresh eggs awaiting us when we arrived. They have thought of everthing !! When we had questions, Regina and Nestor had the answers. The best snorkling was right across the street and the grocery store was very close too. Regina & Nestor - thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality & spacious, clean & well-furnished accomodations. Can't forget the oh-so-comfortable beds! We so appreciated all the beach gear, including towels, chairs, boogie boards, snorkeling eqpt. The outdoor shower was great to rinse off in! We especially enjoyed the trail across the street to run or bike on & loved popping out and seeing the beach! Thank you so much for the bikes too! It was just six weeks ago we were there & it has been too long. Oh, how we love Hawaii! Definitely love being on the North Shore - AWAY from Waikiki & all the tourists!
