This was absolutey perfect for our "girls getaway!" The house was very clean and accomodating and nestled in a perfect cove. The golf cart was fun to take to the marina, and although we did get out one day to go get some food, we were perfectly content at the house the rest of the time. I would definitely go back to this house!

From the initial booking through the security deposit refund. everything about this rental was great! We rented this location for a Clemson graduation and it suited our every need. Warm and welcoming shared spaces, three levels to accommodate every one, and any amenity we could have needed was available. The owner was quick to respond to any question or need and kindly called to check in with us. She even gave up a longer rental because we had made the first request. This gal and her home have class! Everything was clean and comfortable. Lots of screened porches to relax on too. Thanks Jane for a great stay.

Lake Hartwell

We stayed at this cotteage June 2011, it was nicely decorated with 3 large Bedrooms and Bathrooms. The captain suite was like a treehouse with all the large windows. We rented a boat (only pontoon avail) from place down the road. Easy access to I85. Very enjoyable.

My wife and I just returned from 4 nights at Hartwel Haven and everything was perfect. The house and view were nicer than even the pictures. The owner was great and all arrangements were handled smoothly even on short notice. Location was nice near the marina. Took the golf cart to both of the restaurants at the marina and they were great. Highly recommend this property if you are visiting Lake Hartwell.

Our family stayed at Lake Hartwell Haven over the Christmas holiday and it was a wonderful gathering place for relatives. We even got to see some snow! The home is very tastefully decorated and comfortable with all the amenities to make our stay enjoyable. We loved the Lake and scenic views of the many trees on the property. The golf cart was a nice bonus to get around the Lake area. Owner is very easy to work with to make arrangements. We would definitely return for another stay.

Great Girls Weekend

My friends and I rent a house every year on Lake Hartwell just for the weekend. We try and make it the ultimate girls weekend. The house was very clean and cozy. The back porch was absolutely perfect and this is where we spent most of the weekend. Only one thing, there were no wine glasses but there were margarita glasses so we just used those. House was nicely stocked too. Very convenient to a couple of grocery stores which helped out. We had a great time and would recommend this place.

Great Family Retreat for Clemson Games

We had a wonderful stay at the Lake Hartwell Haven. It was really convenient to Clemson for the football game. It was spacious and loaded with all of the amenities we needed. The large porches were a wonderful place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning while taking in a gorgeous view. We would highly recommend this vacation rental and hope to come back again next football season!

We just spent 4 nights and 5 days at Lake Heartwell Haven and it was great!!! We were in Anderson for a National convention and didn't have a lot of leisure time during the day. However we found the great room and the decks perfect for dinning and entertaining. The property was very clean and well maintained. If I'm ever back in the area, I'd be pleased to stay here again!!!

This is a beautiful house with everything you need. Beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. The master bedroom is a treat, where you feel like you are sleeping in the trees and have a private deck where you can view the moonrise over the lake. I and my two children stayed here for one night as a respite from driving. My children enjoyed the porch swing, wi-fi, and their own bed rooms and baths. The kitchen was perfect. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We spent three days over the 2009 New Year holiday at this wonderful, restful retreat. Tastefully decorated, every amenity has been provided. With 4 adults and 2 teenagers, there was ample room to spread out and enjoy! The flat screen TV was a wonderful addition for watching football and cable movies. The kitchen was fully equipped and the open concept allowed all of us to gather for meals and together time. Exploring the immediate area in the golf cart was also fun. Within the general area are lots of hiking trails, shopping and restaurants. We are looking forward to returning soon for another restful, relaxing getaway. Thank you Jane and Bob for making our stay so memorable.

We have nothing but great things to say. This was the perfect hideaway near Clemson. The owners were wonderful to work with and very hospitable! The house is clean, well taken care of and just the perfect size for a family or friends looking to get away for the weekend! What a wonderful house!! We rented this house for a tennis tournament 2 years in a row (1st week in June '07 and 1st week in June '08). We are a family of 5 and there was plenty of room. The house is extremely clean and had everything we needed. We were able to grill out several meals and there was a golf cart available for our use. The Marina is right around the block from the house which has a wonderful restaurant. Hartwell Haven is convenient to everything and is not far from the interstate making it easy to get to Anderson, Clemson, and Greenville. The owner was very easy to work with when renting her house. It is so quiet and peaceful there. I can't wait to go back!!!

Our stay at Hartwell Haven was such an enjoyable event. We came to this area for the Bassmasters Classic event in Greenville and with this home being so convenient to the Portman Marina it worked out just fine. The home was so cute and spacious and very clean. Even though we did not get to make use of the golf cart it was nice that it was available for us to use. The people in Greenville were just amazing and we also enjoyed a trip to Table Rock. The owners of this rental stayed in contact with us while making this reservation and gave us so much needed information. I would recommend this area if you are an avid fisherman. One of the local favorites was in our area in Ocala this past weekend, Casey Ashley. Boy, this fellow can catch fish and sing. Victor and Betty Guynn of Ocala, Florida

We rented this lake house for 5 weekends in the fall. The home is decorated beautifully, was always clean, and had all the necessities a home away form home needs. It was great place to reunite with our friends and enjoy football season. Owners were wonderful to work with.

In the words of my granddaughter when she saw the place, "AWESOME"! We had 5 adults and three kids and had plenty of space to sleep, bathe and relax. The house is well equipped with everything you'll need and it is very clean and comfortable. Access to it is extremely easy, and from experience, I can say that is not always the case with these type of rentals. The owner was very easy to work with, and true to her word, the deposit was sent back immediately. I would thoroughly and without hesitation recommend this house to anyone wishing to use it.

We rented this house for April 28 through May 5, & it was great. It was decorated very nice. We went with 2 other couples on a fishing trip, my husband & the other men caught about 125 to 150 fish, they threw them back, just liked the sport of catching. This house was very peaceful and quiet, the porch swing on the deck was so calming & relaxing. This was truly a home away from home. We would rent it again.

Very comfortable, quiet and relaxing vacation on Lake Hartwell. Enjoyed cruising on the golf cart and taking it to dinner at the Galley at Portman Marina. Loved the house and the furnishings, would definitely go back. If you don't own a boat, make sure you rent a pontoon to cruise around Hartwell. Property owners were great to work with.

My stay was last week of April 2007. What a nicely kept, quiet, restful place. Felt very much at home. House is on a quiet canal off the lake. We rented a pontoon boat and fished and cruised the lake. Any kind of restraunt you like is a short 10 minute drive. We sampled the food at the restraunt at the Marina via the golf cart. Good food at a reasonable price. Many activities close by. Would highly recommend this place to anyone. I plan to return if possible. It has my 4 star rating.
